I'm really impressed with the new amFilm Screen Protector I purchased for my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch tablet. It was very easy to apply using the straightforward instructions, and ALL features of the iPad (touch, camera/facial recognition) work fine--not the case with competing products, based on consumer reviews.) I like that the kit is packaged as a two(2) pack; given that, at some point--hopefully many months from now--a fresh protector will be either needed or desired. In the past, I've always used the industry leader's protectors, and switching brands was only because reviews for those made by them for the new iPad weren't stellar. The amFilm product seems every bit as good so far, it was better priced, and offers a comparable warranty. In short, I recommend this screen protector without reservation.

Wowww this is great.

I don't usually write reviews on Amazon, I usually am the one reading reviews to ease my buying decision on a product but with this one I had to. First I have to say this is the FIRST screen protector for the new 2018 iPad Pros that DONT have the sensitivity issue and touch response delay. This screen protector is flawless. My finger and apple pencil just glides so seemlessly across the screen. It's Super easy to clean and keeps my screen looking fresh and protected at all times. I've tried many of the screen protectors for the new iPad Pros and they all have the touch response to issue. But this one WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. And no I'm not a paid reviewer. Just an honest reviewer.

Protective Cover Worth the Price

To date I have not dropped any of my electronic devices and broken a screen. However, I have used a screen protector since the beginning. My wife, however, did drop her iPad Mini. The screen protector cracked but the screen remains fine. I prefer tempered glass covers for their uncompromised visibility, ease of application, and ease of cleaning. The amFilm Glass Screen protector arrived in a sturdy package with everything necessary for a good application. The instructions recommended running hot water in the sink to reduce dust in the air. They also should have recommended wearing a hair net. I cleaned my screen, used the speck removal sticker, ran hot water, and applied the screen protector only to discover that two hairs fell on the screen during application. Fortunately, both were near the edge of the screen. I was able to raise the edge of the screen protector and remove the hairs. The subsequent application was flawless. I do favor the "hinge method" of installing a screen protector over the holding tab at each end of the screen protector. I get a more accurately placed protector with the hinge method. The box included two screen protectors; I should be good for a while.

Simple installation and glove fit for the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Generation!

This is meant for the iPad Pro 12.9 released Oct 30th 2018. Simple installation. The glass goes around the forward facing camera and doesn't affect Face ID. The glass is a very good fit and makes it feel like there isn't a protector even on! I recommend following the install steps while in the bathroom with the shower running. The hot steam will keep dust from getting between the protector and iPad glass.

Outstanding Customer Service

When I first got the screen protector, my first reaction was: “these large tabs at each end are great! Placing and centering this is going to be a breeze.” And it was. However, I had a hard time with the static electricity that occurred when peeling off the plastic covering the adhesive. The screen protector became a dust magnet. I contacted customer service and they got back to me within 30 minutes. They also suggested that I perform the operation in the bathroom with the shower on. Sounds odd, but given that dry environments enhance static build up, that made sense in retrospect. To make up for my blunder, they offered to send a replacement pane free of charge. They said it would take 3-5 days, but it was delivered the next day. Needless to say, the tip worked very well. I got everything installed in minutes and the shield is crystal clear. The Apple Pencil works fine as well. I am very pleased with both the product and with the support behind it.

Amazing screen protector. No touch sensitivity issues.

I had purchased tempered glass protectors from two different manufacturers with poor results. Both caused serious touch sensitivity issues when installed on my 2018 iPad Pro. Typing on the iPad and even general navigation was a frustrating experience. Thankfully the amFilm protector doesn’t exhibit this issue. The protector seems a bit thinner compared to the others I purchased and maybe this is why there’s no touch sensitivity issues. Everything looks great when installed. Glass is extremely smooth and no raised edges when paired with my Zugu case. A lifetime warranty is icing on the cake. Great value for two protectors...highly recommended.

Good buy so far

If you follow the instructions in using a slightly steamy environment, the install was absolutely no problem. I would’ve like to frame to line up the glass instead of the tabs that they use, but it still went on in less than five minutes. This is not antique a layer, it looks exactly like the iPad screen, which means it will smudge and it will reflect things. I’m not worried about that, I bought it for protection against scratches. Which I have a feeling it will do just fine. I’ve had no interference with touch, or the pencil, and I feel much better about writing on the beautiful screen with this installed with my pencil then I would not. I know the glass is super strong, I’m just very anal retentive about putting screen protectors on my expensive devices. I’ll update in a few weeks about durability, the right now for the price, and the fact that you get two of them, this is a great deal. Face ID works fine, no complaints. Just follow the instructions and use a slightly steamed bathroom environment to install. And it goes on just fine, with no bubbles.

Perfect —goes on flawlessly !!!

Went on absolutely flawless , The two tabs they give you help you to put it on perfectly ,, first one Went on beautifully, I lined up the corners because it was easier ,absolutely flawless only one little bubble that I got out perfectly ,,now I have a second spare ,,it works great with the pencil and touch screen, i think it works better than the original glass for the pencil ,(a little more slippery ), but it’s great! Now I read a lot of reviews about touchscreen issues with other types of screen protectors but this has no issues whatsoever ,make sure you do it in the bathroom with the shower on and let the bathroom get steamed so he gets rid of all the flying dust particles then go in with a clean iPad Pro and then attempt to put on your screen protector ,you will have no issues if you do it that way they make this really easy to put on. Now as for scratches from the pencil or smudging or fingerprints I will update that later right now it seems to be fine ,,I had a plastic screen protector on this before and it scratched all up so I don’t recommend the plastic ones.UPDATE — 5 DAYS LATER- NO smudge ,NO finger prints, NO scratches ! love it!!! And just have to wipe down with cloth instead of an alcohol cleaning,( but once in a while ), all In all -I love it MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT I HAD ON IT , but like I said ,because of the bad reviews on other glass screen protector ( touch issues) that’s why I never purchased the glass screen protectors ,but after all the scratches I saw on my old one I had to try something so I decided to get this one , ( after plenty of research ), it’s absolutely perfect for the third generation iPad Pro , I’d buy it again if I had to ,but I have a spare, that’s how easy they are to put on.

Working very good; installed perfectly

This is my fourth time purchasing this brand screen protector and I’m very happy with its performance and how the installation went. The key to a successful install is to read the instructions carefully before doing anything, then follow their advice to do in a bathroom after having some hot water running in the shower to get some moisture in the air to help reduce floating dust particles, and then clean, clean, clean the tablet surface and use the sticky tape to remove and tiny particles. Following these steps, the installation was flawless. There are zero bubbles and the screen performance is perfect.

Best glass protector so far for new iPad Pro 2018

This is by far the best glass screen protector for the new iPad Pro 2018. touch sensitivity does not seem to be affected and if it is it is minimal. I have used different ones and have wanted to take them off almost immediately but stuck it out as I don’t like to not have a screen protector. Note: as with every glass protector it isn’t the most case friendly. I have the UAG case and it did pop up ever so slightly in a corner but it seems fine.
