I upgraded from the Akaso EK7000 cam to this (the EK7000 Pro). While they are similar, this one packs a punch. The 4k video looks better and this one is a touchscreen!. Size-wise, they are almost identical. The EK7000 PRO fits perfectly in all the accessories I already have for my original one but this one still comes with a ton of accessories and mounts for various surfaces. You can set the light settings depending on where you will be shooting video, but the camera also does it on it's own if you don't want to mess with that. Going from darker to light or vice-versa has quick transitions and even shooting in low-light conditions were still extremely viewable. Of course, this one is also waterproof and while it doesn't come with a memory card, they can be found on amazon for cheap. You can control the camera through the on-board controls, the included wireless remote, and even download the apps from Google Play or Apple Store. I can't vouch for the android options, but there are multiple apps for this on the Apple Store. They all work well - save videos directly to your phone, or delete them off the memory card from the app itself.

This camera is great! We purchased an earlier version for my nephew as a gift, so when we had the opportunity to try out an upgraded version we jumped on it. I liked the version we got for my nephew but the added touch screen is a HUGE bonus. I am really excited about the quality of the pictures and videos, and it came with a ton of accessories and mounts including a remote with a wrist strap. The app makes it super easy to transfer videos to your phone or tablet. My one criticism is that the camera came with no user manual, just a link to an online copy and a qr code to scan to get to it. That would be fine by me, except that the link didn't actually work and said "page not found". However the qr code scanner did work fine.

This little camera has been absolutely fantastic! I bought this based on the reviews and that the fact that I didn't wanna pay the high price for a go pro. I'm on a snorkel trip right now And am very pleased with the battery life, the picture quality and the connectivity to my phone. Hopefully this continues to impress me but as of right now I love this camera! I bought the camera, accessories, extra batteries, extra dive housing, 64gb card, extended warranty, etc for way less than just a go pro. Even if the camera does get ruined somehow, I can buy 6 more. BTW i'm going to try the AKASO drone next. Hopefully i'll love it also.

First I would like to say not pictured in my images is the battery charger and the 2 batteries this package comes with. I was using the camera at my Mother's house and left my batteries there by accident but just look at how many accessories comes with this!! Now, let's just keep it short, simple and to the point! This camera is amazing. I have always wanted a Go Pro, always always always but that price point is just so steep, but then I came across this AKASO EK7000 Pro 4K Action Camera. With 4k video quality and a 16 MP camera, this tiny camera is perfect for any occasion. The touchscreen works well, without lag and the zoom feature works really well also! I have only used it at my son's basketball games and on his field trip in school so far but I can't wait to use this during the Spring/Summer coming up for family vacations and such. If you are looking for an inexpensive camera with all the benefits of a Go Pro, then this is it! Not only that, you can use Go Pro accessories with this camera! You will not go wrong! Thank you AKASO!

This is a great action camera. I upgraded from the EK-7000. The viewscreen is now a touchscreen, and it is larger! Now there is a choice of lens angle width (there are four selections). The optics are incredible, and the camera adjusts itself to light or focus (you can set these yourself, too). It works nicely indoors, and well in bright sunshine. New features include time lapse video, and easy connection to my phone with the iSmart DV app. You definitely need a micro SD memory card to access all the features (this one can take up to 64GB). It's now full 1080 HD video. The waterproof case, straps and holders, and an extra battery, make the Pro ready to go and easy to use. AND at a great price. I highly recommend it.

Got this beast for Christmas 2018! Works crazy awesome. Love the look and feel of it too. Pros: 1. The last camera I had (campark) slipped out of my hands every once in awhile because it lacked rubberized dimples on the top and sides. The Akaso EK7000 camera has really nice rubberized dimples all around it for better grip. 2. Took some pics at 16MP and they looked marvelous. I visited the Georgia Aquarium and set the diving mode on. (see attachments of fish) 3. The aquarium videos @ 1080P/60FPS turned out great; very happy with them. 4. The touch screen makes it super easy to use because you don't have to memorize all the buttons, LOVE IT! 5. I played around with the Wi-Fi and it works awesome. You can remotely control the camera from an Android phone using the app listed in the Akaso user manual. (Just go the android Play store) 6. The Camera comes with (tons) of accessories that not all cameras will give you. Mine came with 2 batteries, a charger and charging USB cable. 7. You can use any micro-USB cable to charge it so don’t worry about loosing it, since all new cell phones are using type-c now, so you should have micro-USB cables laying around. 8. If you buy this camera (which I highly recommend over anything else in this price range) and compare it with the battery life of other cameras you will understand what I mean when I say this thing will last plenty of time. 9. It comes with cool mounts that are very helpful to attach to your wrist/arm, bike helmet, belt and included detachable buckles. Also you can wrap a strap around just about any small pole or stick you can think of with the 3 individual straps it comes with. 10. I like that it’s small, which makes it easy for travel and harder to break. 11. There is a difference with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), which I would not say it’s near perfect but it definitely helps. 12. I am really excited for the 40 meters (131 feet) of water proof case awesomeness. I tested it in a tub and at the aquarium to see the quality underwater and its great. Cons: 1. Wish the EIS was a little better when riding a road bike and walking around. 2. Wish it came with more than one wipe for keeping it clean, plus some brushes and cleaning solution. 3. The SD card slot was a little finicky about inserting and removing the card. The spring was not working just right. Misc: I used a Samsung 128GB U3 EVO and it works tremendously. Over 12 hours of 1080p 60fps video. One day I’ll update this review once I test it while SCUBA Diving.

Over the years I've used everything from bullet cams, to GoPro knockoffs, to GoPros. Last year I picked up the AKASO EK7000 and it took first place for me above all my other cameras while motorcycling. I just picked up the EK7000 PLUS. AKASO doesn't disappoint! With the new touch screen menus are a breeze to fly through, it still integrates perfectly with my phone via Bluetooth, has the great little remote control, and takes incredible photos and videos. Came with a whole box of accessories too. For the price, quality, and ease of use I can't imagine go going back to paying for a name. Good job, AKASO, and thank you!
