Sturdy velvet hangers with just the right amount of non-slip

I bought a bunch of velvet hangers for my daughter that ended up being too tacky, a little too large and flimsy. It was hard to get clothes on and off the hangers and they were kinda wobbly under load. NOT THESE hangers. When I got the Cresnel hangers, I quickly realized that first of all, they were a nice medium size - just right for most articles of clothing. Second of all, they were really sturdy, not wood hanger sturdy, but close enough. Finally, the non-slip was just right. I could get clothes off and on easily, but they stayed on the hanger. If you want non-slip velvet hangers - these are my top recommendation!

Magical closet-transforming hangers are magical

These hangers are pretty dang great, you guys. I've been needing to replace my crazy hodgepodge of plastic hangers for an eternity and finally got around to getting these velvet hangers. They are very sturdy and have a nice flex to them. I think you'd have to try pretty hard to snap one. And for a little over 50 cents per hanger, it's totally worth the investment. I work at a dress shop, and my boss recently ordered hangers very similar to these for about 80 cents per hanger, and the quality seems about equal. I only ordered one box to see how they were, and now I'm about to order one or two more so I can finish my closet and let my husband fix his up too while we're at it. I saw a lot of reviews giving one or two stars cause they got a few broken ones in the box, but I didn't get a single defective one, so don't let that dissuade you. I mean, there's a return policy for a reason! Anyway, my closet looks a billion times better now, so I hope you can now make an informed decision about buying these things!

Amazing Hangers at a wonderful Price!

I needed hangers for my sweaters and these really fit the bill! They are very strong and hold even the heaviest of sweaters. The felt has not rubbed off or shed at all so far. It seems like that won't be a problem, but have only had them for a week and even with using them quite a bit (especially with my favorite comfy sweater) there has not been any issues. I would highly recommend these hangers and will buy again when I fully use the first 50 I got. You really can't beat the price either! Give them a try!

I have a narrow walk-in closet with hanging racks on both sides. I knew I liked the non-slip velvet hangers and ordered these because they are an inch SHORTER width than the ones I had before. Now that they are on both sides of the closet, I've got 2 more inches of walking room. Sounds as if that shouldn't make a difference, but it does! Seem adequately sturdy so far. Glad I got them.

Great for heavier clothing

We love the non slip hangers but found the standard ones continually snapped with the weight of men's heavier clothing. The center brace on these makes it better for menswear. No more broken hangers using these.

Love these!

I wish I had known a loooooong time ago how much space these could save in your closet - I would have done it years ago!!! I got a couple packs to start with and ended up loving them so much I purchased more and did the rest of my closet. These are durable and the non-slip fabric is AWESOME for blouses that have a hard time staying on hangers. And the little indentations on the top of the hangers are perfect for tank tops! Also - I'm a big reader of Amazon reviews before purchasing anything, and I've noticed that a lot of the complaints about these hangers focus on a couple of things, so I'll just add my experience - 1) I've ordered a total of 6 boxes of 50 of these in the last month (I was re-doing our whole closet) and no hangers have been broken right out of the box. 2) If you are looking to "grab & go" - non-slip hangers are not for you. The velvet coating on these hangers makes them EXTREMELY non-slip - if you try to yank a pair of jeans off of them or something, you are going to break them. I wouldn't even try yanking a blouse off of them because I wouldn't want to damage the blouse, let alone the hanger!

Money well spent

It's pretty hard to get excited about a set of hangers normally. After receiving the CRESNEL non-slip velvet hangers, purchased as a direct result of the glowing reviews, I decided my first test would be to hang a heavy winter coat with a white satin lining. Result: the hanger did not bend, the coat did not slip, the velvet did not shed. With the exception of one very heavy coat, all wooden hangers have been replaced with new hangers. I am thrilled with the amount of space created by the removal of wooden and heavy plastic hangers. I no longer have to struggle to remove Or replace an item in my tiny coat closet. As for the other closets, I love the fact that my clothes are staying on the hangers instead of ending up on the closet floor or drapped half on and half off the hanger. This was money well spent. Now that I know how wonderful these are, I will definitely be ordering more.

Thin and streamlined closet!!

These hangers were just what my overstuffed closet has been begging for. I switched out all my assorted hangers, plastic, wire, you name it, for these slim yet strong beauties. The velvet keeps the clothes from slipping off so even those wide necked tops stay securely in place. The extra little bar is perfect to keep belts together with the clothes that match. I now have several spare inches on a closet bar that wasbstuffed beyond capacity and everything looks neater with the uniformed hangers. I would not at this time recommend adding skirt/trouser clips to them. I found they added bulk and messiness to the otherwise pristine closet, as each clip is quite wide and when lined up clip to clip it pushed everything over. This has nothing to do with the quality of these hangers though, just a tip for future ordering. These hangers are top notch!

Removes the chaos!

I've spent several weeks redoing my 12' long closet -- painting, woodwork refinishing, new shelving and pole, and adding new storage solutions at each end. There was no way dozens of mismatched wire hangers from the dry cleaner would suffice! Enter these beauties. Slim profile, sturdy, with non-slip flocking and that fantastic little bar below the hook -- perfect for belts or scarves. I bought four boxes (e.g., 16 hangers per foot = 192): such a bargain! The best part is these things are impossible to tangle. On a daily basis, they have removed the chaos and improved my outlook. Love them!

Can't Praise These Hangers Enough!

I love these hangers!!! I bought a set of 50 and started transferring all my sweaters to them. Also, I have several dresses and shirts that are silky material and slide off normal hangers. They do not slide at all on these. And because they are so slender, I have twice the room in my closet. I quickly used up the 50 hangers and turned around and ordered 2 more sets (100) hangers. I plan on using these for everything except my dress pants and jeans. Works great for most womens items and also for mens dress shirts. I used to have padded sweater hangers for my sweaters, but they take up a lot of closet space. These work just as well - the sweater does not slide off and the hanger does not damage the shape of the shoulders.
