What can I say. It gets the job done

I was skeptical about buying this tool because there were pretty much no reviews on it but I gotta say, glad I took the risk and purchased this smoke machine. Its much smaller than expected but it works flawlessly.

Well worth the money.

Needed to find the infamous evaporateive emissions leak. Worked great!. O,=nly complaint is the smell of the smoke. Maybe some scented oil will help.

I purchased the AutoLine Pro EVAP Vacuum Automotive Smoke Machine Leak Detector Diagnostic Tester (machine). My vehicle was starting rough and I had a code reader that indicated too much air to gas mixture. I search the hoses for a leak in vane. I could take the vehicle to a mechanic that would charge $100 (possible more) or diagnose myself with the smoke machine for a bit more to purchase and hope it was a hose that I missed and I made the purchase. No issues with the machine, but I did carefully read the short setup instructions as the machine could be damaged with incorrect use. As the instructions state, do not run the machine more than 10 minutes. It does get extremely hot. However, I did not need more than 3 minutes to locate the trouble areas. I did not realize (it probably stated somewhere in the advertising) that I needed the use of an air compressor, but I have one so not a problem. While the instructions state you can go up to 100psi, you only need to go to about 20-30psi. I do not believe you should go much higher than 30psi, but I am not a mechanic. I was able to locate two trouble areas. One will take me a while to fix, but the other is a simple part (EGR valve). Diagnosing and replacing the EGR valve myself definitely saved me the cost of the machine.

Excellent performance

Shipped same day and arrived the next day glad to be in Cali. Instructions were clear and made dense smoke right away. Pretty impressed with the build quality and it generates way more smoke than I had imagine or will ever need. Used their cone adapter for the intake boot and it filled the entire system with smoke in less than a minute. Easy to bust out and store, may smell though. Will update if anything changes.
