Nice cookware set
Really nice. I purchased these after my Gotham steel pan had to be retired. I was a little reluctant after seeing people complain about the handles getting too hot so I purchased handle covers too. Turns out it wasn't necessary. I don't know how high those folks have the heat when they cook but my handles have yet to get too hot.

Nothing Sticks to Blue Diamond
I just purchased this cookware set and am IN LOVE. I saw the commercial on TV and needed new pans so decided to give Blue Diamond a try. I bought the set on Amazon because of free shipping and it showed up perfectly in two days. I'm actually really impressed with the variety of sizes you get in the set, plus a couple of cooking tools that are always good to have...those came included. The pans really do have a super shiny appearance and you can see the diamonds on the surface. The first thing I did was scramble eggs, and they came out beautifully!! Seriously, I didn't even need to wash the pan after (of course I did anyway) but there was literally NOTHING left in the pan. Great performance. These are quality pans, really well made, good looking, and great cooking. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Nice Set For The Price!
For the moderate price point, this is a great set of pans! I have a beautiful 30 year old set of solid stainless steel that I love, but wanted a smaller set with easier care for light daily use. I almost didn’t order these based on so many comments about the handles getting too hot. The handles are rounded and hollow to allow air flow and very well balanced. Mine don’t get hot at all. Maybe it depends on the type of stove you’re using, but no problems on my gas range. The handle on the glass lid on the stockpot, however, did get a little hot after about 40 minutes of a low simmer, but was still able to lift it with bare hands. Besides, how many holiday potholders do you have in your collection, lol! Use them on the lid if necessary. These are super easy to clean and I haven’t had anything stick yet. Cooking spray will ruin a non stick ceramic quickly, so don’t use to prolong the life of the surface. Overall, I’m very happy with these and would recommend giving them a try.

Great quality pans
I absolutely love these pans . and for everybody that says the handles get hot . position your pan right on the stove , and turn the fire down for crying out loud. I use my frypan almost every morning to make bacon and eggs , works absolutely perfect . and I have never had the handle get hot .

So Beautiful!!!
I just can't believe the quality you get for the price on these pans! This set comes with everything I need to cook for friends and family. It is great that you can put them in the oven too. They blue is so much more vibrant than I expected and I love the little diamond finishes. The non-stick coating makes them so easy to clean and it's reassuring to know that the coating is non-toxic. The handles get a little hot, but nothing an oven mitt can't fix. Really love these!

I did not try metal utensils on them.
I cook on all of them already. No problems. I did use butter and Olive oil . I always cook with one or the other. Pans worked just fine. In oven and on stove top (gas). The copper pans we tried sucked. Tossed all but 2 In the trash. I read a few saying the handle gets hot. I found the handles get warm and I would expect that. I was able to pour hot soup into a bowl. Also pick up then fry pan with no pot holder. Was only warn to the touch. Coming out of the oven it was red hot and that I was expecting coming out of the oven.

Best Cookware ever!! Amazing non-stick 850 degree resistant cookware!
Amazing cookware for even heating, non-stick properties, and easy clean-up. Forget the hype about using metal--don't do it if you want this Blue Diamond to last. Still, I think it's better than Caphalon, Copper Chef, Gotham, Granite Rock, T-fal, Faberware, Greenlife, Pioneer Woman, Tramontina, Bialetti, Cuisinart, Swiss Diamond or any other premium non-stick out there--the technology is just more advanced!! I've had mine over two months & cook with it every day...just follow directions of NO METAL utensils-just wood or teflon or hard plastic. Do your normal cooking but w/less oil. Hot soapy ok and sponge scrupper pads but not mettalic pads work for me w/heavy residue. Wet paper towel is all that's usually needed to clean. The only thing I need with this set is a glass top for the square griddle pan. Even a 3rd party glass top wood work--I just haven't found one yet. If you want the best--this is what you'll get for u or for cook(s) in your life! Great present-I got 1 for all my sisters and they're delighted! So go on and buy it--you'll be glad you invested in it!

Yes yes yes.
Y’all. This blue diamond stuff is awesome. I’m usually a sucker for good advertising but I watched a Vivian Tries video on YouTube and she tested out everything the infomercial claimed and it worked so I bought one to test. This stuff is so nonstick that the first thing I made with it was sliding out of the pan while I was stirring. Then I made spinach artichoke dip in it and left it to dry (partially out of laziness and partially as a test) and cleaned it out the next day with no soaking and no scrubbing. The whole big pan was clean in less that 3 minutes. I tell everyone about how awesome these pans are and I bought the whole set for myself after the spinach dip test. I don’t even want to cook with anything else. I made pancakes this weekend with no cooking spray or butter to make them not stick. They stuck alright, not to the pan though. Kept sticking to my spatula.

Still looking good
Update: It's been just over a month and my set still look and work like new. I actually posted a big note on the range hood describing my rules for using this set so my adult sons won't ruin them. Since it's been a month I'll stand by my word and reseason them now. It's worth a few minutes to keep them working so well. My rules: 1. No turning the stove higher than 7. No non stick pan should be used at high heat. 2. No metal utensils. So the pans aren't scratched while cooking. 3. Hand wash only. It's easy since nothing sticks to the pans. 4. Wash only after pans have cooled. Keeps the pans from warping. 5. Do not nest the pans. So the bottom of one pan can't scratch another pan. I did order a couple of silicone handle grippers. These hollow handles do transfer heat quicker than the solid metal handles of my worn out set of pans. I've yet to be using a pan long enough on high enough heat for the silicone to be required, but I do notice that while the end of the handle is still cool and I can still pick it up with no problem, the closer to the actual pan the handle gets then the hotter it gets. Physics. I can easily tolerate warm handles and using the silicone covers if needed because of how great the non stick function on these pans works. Food slides around so easily in these pans that I can flip it like a professional chef. I can't say enough good things about these pans. I'm glad I pulled the trigger and bought them. Original review: I just got them and at a great price. The first thing I did was to hand wash them. Then I coated them in canola oil and put them in the oven at 300 degrees for two minutes to season them and then wiped out the excess oil. The next morning I used one of the pans to cook my breakfast. Three pieces of bacon. They provide their own grease of course, but never even came close to sticking. They slid around the pan like I've never seen before. Hash brown potatoes next. No sticking at all. I can flip them in the pan like a professional chef. Now my egg. The potatoes had sucked up all the bacon grease and I added no oil or butter so my egg slightly stuck to the pan, but it easily broke free and slid around. (Next time I'll add a dab of butter or canola oil before cooking the egg. Somehow, with everything cooking so easily, my breakfast tasted better than usual. No sticking. No fighting. No adjusting stove temperature. My ceramic stove has the following settings. Simmer, Lo, 1 thru 9 and Hi. I turned the burner to 5 and left it there during the entire cooking process and everything cooked perfectly. I intend to ignore the contradictory claims of this set and will take good care of them. You know, dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Safe for metal utensils, but silicone recommended. So, no metal utensils. Hand wash only. Wash only after the pans have cooled. Never turn my stoves burner higher than 7 (more likely 6 since 5 cooked my breakfast fine). I won't even nest them. I intend reseasoning them once a month. I'm retired and have the time and I want to keep them in the great shape they are in right now. It is true that the handles can heat up. My old (formally non stick) pans had solid metal handles that never had this problem so I really didn't expect these handles to heat up. However, these handles are hollow and so the heat crawls through them much faster than solid handles. That said, while cooking my breakfast I never had a problem touching the handle and never needed a mitten or pot holder. I did check though and found that the portion of the handle closest to the pan did get to hot to touch. The portion of the handle that I needed to touch only got slightly warm. Those that have handles get to hot may have the burner turned up to high or else their pan may be on the burner for a very long time. I can see how if I'm cooking something like fried chicken that might take a while that the handle might eventually get hot so I might go ahead and order some silicon handle covers. So far I have no complaints with hot handles and I love these pots and pans. I'm pretty good at updating my reviews should things change, so if the pans start to peel, stick, warp or have other problems I'll update.

Best set of cookware you will ever own. No joke.
I have had my Blue Diamond cookware since December of 2018, so 14 months now. I love the way they cook and easily clean up so much that I bought the full set for each of my three grown children for this past Christmas, 2019. The full set includes the 3-quart pot; I brought those 3 sets straight from the Blue Diamond manufacture’s website for ~$125.00/set. My own set I purchased from a department store. Department store Blue Diamond sets are missing the 3-quart pot. Regardless, the technology is amazing. I tried multiple “copper” and “ceramic” style cookware brands before my Blue Diamond set, all failed miserably very soon after the purchase. Blue Diamond has remained as nice as the day I bought them and we use these pots and pans every single day. My husband is so delighted with our set (for example, his over-easy eggs come out perfectly every time) that he has decided that the cookware set would make perfect wedding gifts for future events. We do take care of this cookware set. For example, when I need to use very high heat such as deep frying chicken I use my stainless steel cookware instead of my Blue Diamond pan But for our daily cooking, our Blue Diamond cookware is what gets the workout, they really get the job done and done well. Btw, we do not own a dishwashing machine, so my dishes are always hand washed, not sure if that helps longevity.
