I ordered this light and phone tripod for making YouTube videos and for my online teaching company. I was looking something that does the job without the price of the super high-end equipment. For the price I must say it is good quality. It's easy to use and set up. However, be prepared that the stand is made of plastic (no problem for me). It provides 3 types of lighting and the cord can be plugged into a USB port. I used my phone charger to plug in to the wall and you can plug it in to your laptop or computer. I can set it up just about anywhere and record a video on my phone. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Easy to Assemble, Very bright light

I bought this so I can make my makeup tutorial videos with better lighting and I havent used it for my videos yet but thenlight is extremely bright and comes in three modes. you can also adjust the brightness. the tripod fits my iphone xs max and you can screw it horizontally or vertically. overall its very light and the light itself is bright. definitely worth more than the price. i wish the tripod part was a little taller though but its fine

Excellent, much brighter than expected!

I used this product for recording YouTube videos at my desk. Although I did use another 3-point lighting kit that was about $200, I could have easily filmed it with my ceiling light and this as this little device is extremely bright on full, almost unnecessarily bright, but the controller makes it easy to dim. I love how the company didn't cut any corners as most ring lights have one ring of lights with filters you can put on to change the color, but you can see by looking at the device that inside there are three rings of different colors of lights. The controller works well with the device but would be cool to see it have a battery option for wireless use. But lastly, it is incredible that the company included all they did for the price point (well worth it!)

Great value for a great product!

I got an Amazon giftcard for Christmas and was in need of a ring light as I am in the beginnings of my YouTube career, I knew I could not afford a big one but it didn’t matter to me because I film with my phone anyway. I found this and it looked absolutely perfect, And it is!! It’s the perfect size and has many different light insensities. It’s really easy to use especially for a beginner like me. My videos look 10x better this ring light made a huge difference!! 10/10 recommend!!

Happy so far!

Just got this today in the mail. So far I love it, especially for the price! The light stand is plastic, but does its job fine. I wish the light could tilt down. You just have to play around with its tripod to angle down. The phone stand material is sturdier. I wish the legs on this could flatten lower. I had to remove the additional head on it to lower it, but not a problem. I also wish the phone holder expanded evenly sideways so it balances better, but it's no big deal. I like the adjustable light remote and how it plugs into my laptop with a USB cord. It does not come with a USB adapter to the wall plug though. I think it's a great buy and love how it does come with 2 stands and you have the freedom to move the light anywhere, unlike some goosenecks that have the light and phone attached. I think it's a great deal!

Not just for videos! Works great alone as a light for doing makeup

Unlike many other reviewers, I didn’t buy this for recording videos. I just wanted a bright makeup light for my vanity. I have my vanity facing a window because I prefer to do my makeup in natural light. But sometimes I’m up too early and the lighting in my bathroom is terrible. This works great for makeup application! I love the different settings and intensities. The base can be made fairly small so it’s not in the way. I usually just put the unopened tripod base in a makeup organizer on my vanity and it works well. Especially because the head of the light can tilt side to side. I haven’t tried the iPhone attachment, but can tell you it’s a bright little light.
