When my daughter saw the Avenger Ultimate Quinjet, her eyes opened up! She is thirteen and has been building Lego sets since she was 5. She grew up with City and Star War sets and this Marvel Avenger Set excited her. The set arrived after her spring break so she has been building this new set on everyday between her regular school works. After a week she is almost done with 838 pieces. The Ultimate Quinjet is big, about the size of Star War X-wing fighter. The Quinjet has a lot more moving parts than any other set she has built so far. Front opening cockpit, adjustable wings, rear compartment gate, fold out the rear mini gun, and multiple stud shooters guns. 6 minifigures are cute like others set and they are the first thing my daughter build after she opened up the box. This Avenger Lego set will not fail as a gift or a collector set. Recommend for all Lego fans.

Great for my 8 year old son, he did it in 3 to 4 hours!

Good gift and he enjoyed putting it together.

Best Lego jet and it's from Endgame.

First: This is a marvel of design and engineering. You're going to love this set. It of course comes with a booklet that outlines every single piece (and its quantities) and has a step-by-step full-color diagrammatic buildout instruction. The minifigs are cool (Chris Hemsworth absolutely translates to Lego with hardly anything lost), and have features on both sides of the head that show basic, pleasant "resolute" or angry "you die now". There is a cool little cycle that comes together with just a handful of pieces in just a few moments. The airship is more complicated, but totally worth it. The specialty pieces that give color and contour to the finish are stunning, in my opinion. There are already several good videos on YouTube that show an accelerated view of the build. The "AustrianLegoFan" was especially good. This is a great set.

There are two things that I'm a sucker for when it comes to LEGO. Swooshable ships, and parts in Dark Blue. So, this set has kind of an advantage right from the start. Add in that it's an Avengers tie-in set, and what's not to love? This is, I think the third version of the Quinjet at this scale. It's a pretty distinctive part of the Avengers world, so it makes sense that there would be a corresponding set for each movie. The design is spectacular. As mentioned before, it's totally swooshable. Even disregarding it as an Avengers ship, it would just be a fun and incredibly well designed ship to play with. The adjustable wings, a turret gun that pops out of the back, the loading ramp and vehicle storage, all awesome play features. I particularly love the design of the jet intake, using the trans-orange NEXO shields. Very clever parts usage there. There aren't too many new parts in the set, mainly the new ones are the trans-orange parts. Both windscreens and the NEXO shields are new in this color. Apart from those, there are a handful of other new-in-this-color parts, and then of course, the minifigures. They are all "unique" to this set, but the heads all appear elsewhere. The torso and legs are all new, but are all identical (except that Rocket has short legs), and all appear in other Avengers sets. The only truly new and unique element is Rocket's head, which is new in that his shoulder pads are in Pearl Grey. The mould is not unique, just this coloring. Oh, and I guess the Chitauri are actually new and unique here too, but let's not try to pretend that we're not all just interested in the Avengers! Get this if you want an awesome Avengers set, or if you just want an awesome ship to swoosh around, or if you just want an awesome Dark Blue parts pack - Amazon's discount puts the set well under the $0.10 per part ratio. The set is a winner no matter how you consider it!
