Great USB tester! I even added it to my work tool bag!
I have always wanted to test my USB power supplies, ports, and cables. This USB tester really allows me to do that! I work with lots of computers, power supplies with USB ports, and equipment with USB ports. Sometimes I just need to see if the power is what it needs to be to see if a USB port is broken or if there is not enough power. I have added this tester to my tool bag at work and I intend to buy a couple more both for work and my own home workshop. The included directions were surprisingly good despite some misspellings and broken English. It has helped me quickly tell if I have an issue with a USB port or cord.

Excellent Product
Ever wonder just how much power a charger port is sending to your devise? Or wonder if the length of a charger cord changes how much charging power goes to your devise? This meter will give you your answer. Just remember. Volts times amps equals watts. So if a devise is charging at 5 volts and drawing 2.5 amps = 12.5 watts.

Its everything it says it is!
Initial testing shows this product is emerging its advertised as. I pulled it out of the packaging and eagerly plugged it into my portable power bank to see which of my many charging cables were the best and it was so easy to use I threw away the manual. I was a bit dismayed to find that the cheap cable that came with my power bank out performed even my new in the packaging Samsung cables, but that's exactly why I bought this, from now on I'll have peak charging efficiency. I will update this in the future if it breaks or lets me down in any way, but for now it's a surprising 5 stars.

Glad I bought it
I needed a means of checking volt and amp of USB setup I was building. This did exactly what I needed. I found that I had a bad power supply and was able to replace the unit and retest for proper function. I also used it to time exactly how long it took to charge a usb supply battery. Lots of screens. Small font and a bit hard to read but you can bring up a screen with larger font for volts and amps. Flipping the screen was a mind blow. A long hold on the button flips the readout. We will see how long it lasts. It seems to be of quality for the money and It solved my problem for just a little cash. It’s kool.

Great dianostic tool.
I use a lot of Raspberry Pi's, some with SSD or WD hard disks, and devices attached to the GPIOs. When I get lightning bolt warning signals on the monitor when running the device, the tester display has helped me find the power supplies able tp provide the correct amount of voltage/current drive for each configuration.

Confusing hook up, but it does seem to work correctly
Make sure to hook it up right to see current (amps) being measured correctly. This means the 'Output' side needs to go to the current sink or device to be charged. 'Input' side goes to the current source or juice bank or AC adapter. Then the current works. I actually had it backwards and it measured only voltage, but showed 0.00 A all the time.

Great for monitoring drone battery charging and more
I bought this to monitor the charging of my new Parrot Anafi drone and it’s batteries. I also used it to monitor the charging of another drone which used micro USB. Third case was monitoring charging of my iPhone via the USB to lightning cables I have. In all three cases I was able to effectively monitor charge amps voltages and watts. I really like the timer which can be reset with a long press of the only button. The timer also accumulate mah during that time which is great for estimating how much power was accumulated into a drone battery during that time. The colorful display looks great but it quite small for me . It seems to Be a tad temperamental as how it’s plugged in but slight nudge fixes things. It also revealed that my old mpow usb charger kicks the butt of a brand new ravpower PD charger i bought for drone charging, at least on USB charging. It also confirmed that my USB C charging was good to the anafi batteries. Anyways, I’m very happy with this purchase and finding myself monitoring everything right now with it. A great tool !

Works great - but can't cross streams
The device works well and I give it 5 stars. One thing to note is that if you're using USB-C as input, you have to use USB-C as output on the meter. And if you use the old USB-A as input you can only use the meter's USB-A as output. You can't cross from USB-C to USB-A or vice-versa. Would have liked that, but it sure works great otherwise. Display is easy to read in room lighting, a little dim for use in sunlight. I was easily able to check which of my USB chargers and devices are switching to higher voltages, and how much current they're drawing for charging, which is why I got it. Love having both USB-A and USB-C in the same device (note that it blocks adjacent ports on the computer because of its X-like shape).

USB 3.0 data pass through and an A to Micro B adapter
I don’t know what I was expecting, but for being one of the cheaper USB type C power meters I was looking at, I was expecting it to not do everything I wanted it to. Not only does it work with QC 4.0 and USB PD, it also has full USB 3.0 data passthrough and comes with one of those nano Type A to Micro B adapters that inserts into the type A plug. I did a speed test on a usb 3.0 flash drive and got identical results with and without the tester. It doesn’t output power to A when input from C, but it works every other way. It does make sense, so I don’t mind at all. I did lose the reversibility that the old 2.0 type A meter had, but again, I completely understand why and am glad they went in this direction. I was having a day full of expensive electronics not working, and testing this little device renewed my faith in technology.

easy to use
Easy to use. I wanted to find out which cables were not fast charging my device, without leaving them plugged in all night, and dealing with a dead cell phone in the morning. I found out which cables were junk, and threw them out. Not all cables are created equal, and you can not tell by looking at them what they are capable of. Do they support 2amp fast charging? can they transfer data... This device did its job well.
