I'm a medical student so I spend a LOT of time studying. I was really tired of sitting at my desk all the time and because I have a dog, I really wanted to find something that would allow me to set up a study space and sit on the couch with him every once in a while. Here are a few things I was really looking for in a lap desk that I am very pleased with in this product: 1. Space - The desktop of this product is big enough to hold my 15" laptop, my 12" iPad, and my notebook. The drawer on the side is also a great addition to hold my pens/highlighters and my phone or a drink. 2. Stability - I know it is really important to some people to have an adjustable table height, but it was more important to me to have sturdy legs, which this product definitely fulfills! As an added bonus, I think the height is perfect! 3. Leg Room - There is plenty of leg room under this desk. I never feel claustrophobic or that my legs are cramped because I have plenty of space to fidget and wiggle, cross/uncross my legs, and get comfortable under this desk. 4. High Quality Product - This is a great product for the price! I would recommend it 100%. Here are some extra things that I wasn't necessarily looking for but that I absolutely love: - The book stand is awesome! I had my own book stand already, but this one is great for anyone who doesn't already have that. - The carrying handle. This makes transport so easy! - The color. I got the tan option and it is very aesthetically pleasing!

Been using this desk for about five months now and I absolutely love it! I'm a freelance illustrator and work full-time from home all at this cute little desk! I just recently moved out of my parent's home and got a small bedroom in a home with several other girls. It's perfect because it saves so much space, it's comfortable to work at, and it's just the right size! Not to mention it's about $250 cheaper than the desk I was previously looking at! No real complaints from me! It's been nothing but awesome! (:

If a product is good I like to share that info. If it’s a terrible product I definitely like to review it because I want to “warn” others. I rely like 90% on purchases I make by the customer reviews. I just received this an hour or so ago. It was very well packed & I always appreciate that because it’s such a b#$ch kitty to return things. Like others said it is big, bigger than I expected. But that’s not really a down side, it’s usually the other way, too small. It’s very well built and sturdy. All the rubber or plastic parts, wrist rest & bumpers & book or iPad holder & drawer, are made with heavy duty materials. Not likely to pop off or crack. Everything locks down & opens smoothly. I had one where the legs would buckle on me because it didn’t lock. It liked to buckle & slip when I had a beverage sitting on it....me & the bed soaked. Grrrr! This will hold up well, as long as I can keep my two-year old granddaughter away from it. She can break & destroy concrete, I swear! I’ll add on if I find problems while in actual use. But at this point, 6 stars. This item is worth it.

I’m a sophomore in university and I will admit, I looked at lap desks for the LONGEST time. I’m finishing my 4th semester now and just decided this month to bite the bullet and buy one. This wasn’t the first one I bought, just the best one. I decided on a large bamboo one originally and even though it was pretty plain, it was broken from gentle use in 3 days or less and upon research the other buyers also complained of the leg splitting vertically. That whole ordeal led me to look again for one that had metal legs and I found this one. The only thing that’s disappointing about it is that I didn’t find it sooner. I was thrilled when it had a full sized drawer, a handle and the book holder was the best bonus. This thing is a great size. I have had my 15.6 inch laptop and my iPad (in a keyboard case) on the surface at the same time as a book in the holder and there was still room. I love the cup holder is in a drawer on this model, SO USEFUL. I was skeptical at first but the cup holder is pretty sturdy, I had a full 64oz fountain drink in there and there were no issues. I do agree that at times, the height seems a bit odd and I wish it was adjustable ... but if This seller ever decides to add that feature on a new model I will gladly buy again.

This thing is so much more than I was expecting! First off, it’s really beautiful — very sleek, sturdy, modern, stylish and smooth. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. I was looking for a bed tray but this is more like a bed desk. It’s perfect for working from bed since I work from home a lot —which might be kind of a problem, since I don’t need another reason to stay in my pj’s lounging in bed all day LOL. But if I wanted to, this thing is perfect for that. It has a little rope handle underneath for carrying it, which is a great convenience for moving room to room. Maybe that’ll make me get it out of the bedroom and into the living room so at least I can say I left my room on days I work from home. Fingers crossed, because I could so easily become a lazy recluse laying in bed all day now that I have this piece of furniture. Also, now that I think about it, I can use it to make a sort of standing desk by propping this up on my kitchen table or office desk and standing at it to work. It’s the perfect height. I’ll have to explore that. In any case, it’s a great item and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it!

I was looking for a new lap desk/ bed table since it gets uncomfortable on my bed. Was super excited to come across this one. I was impressed with the design and quality. You can tell they put in some thoughts while designing this item. :) Things that I really liked: - So well packaged, easily for returns or storage - Very sturdy and great quality table and compartments - The legs prevent sliding and stability - Book slot holds my phone too! - Great for when I'm doing some writing or watching on my bed - Smaller compartment is very useful and drinks won't easily tip over! - Handle to carry the table was very thoughtful - I can stretch and move my legs freely underneath versus a lapdesk Things that could be improved: - The height. I am 5'2" and the table is quite tall and not as ergonomically friendly for me. Would be nice if there was an option for adjustable heights. - Compartment would be nice to have a detachable cup holder or groove for it.

The best investment ever. Love how sturdy this table is how there's a panel to hold books and a side drawer for your phone! The best thing I appreciate about this is that the edge of the table slopes down! My wrists would always become red and irritated when working on other flat tables for too long but I never have a problem with this one because of the design. I am so glad I picked this one over the other tables I was researching. Highly recommend.

This folding desk is perfect! It’s Extremely large but not in a bad way. The legs underneath fold out and are sturdy enough to move the tree around without worrying about them collapsing back underneath. There is a slide out compartment on the left that you can put items like remotes or even a cup in. On the right, there is a book/laptop/iPad stand that you can also pull out and unfold. I’ve had problems with other trainees having slots in the front for phones and laptops that don’t hold. This one holds your phone or laptop perfectly. The only thing I suggest is purchasing a nonslip mat if you will be using it as a bed tray. Now taken two pictures-one without a nonslip mat and the other with a nonslip mat on the surface.

I'm in love with this thing! Its part desk, part tray table, part work station, all perfect. The book stand is large enough for some heftier books but compact enough for all average sized books, notebooks, or writing pads. I wish the cup holder/drawer thingy had a non-slip surface inside it but thats not a big deal. The tablet slot will hold whatever you've got and i think the phone slot will hold anything too honestly. I saw some reviews complaining about the height if you're sitting down or in bed. Yes, its a little high, its lower chest height to me (below the boob area) and I'm very short. But I find it quite comfortable. The tabletop is massive I can use my computer, with mouse pad &mouse, and have a small writing pad or notebook and it doesn't feel cramped. Another bonus, i can use it as a standing desk in my office by setting it up on top of the desk. It's well made and sturdy, non slip feet. Easy folding, comfortable carrying handle. I could gush on about this thing for all time.

As a high school senior (Class of 2020), I purchased this desk with the idea of needing it for my studies now and during my years of study through college and medical school. This was one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's so large that it can comfortably hold my 2012 Macbook Pro, my mouse pad with wireless mouse, my iPad mini, plus textbooks on the given book stand. It has a stand for your phone with storage space, where I place drinks and other smaller things. However, it is very tall and I combat this simply by sitting on an extra pillow or cushion. I am 4'11", so I expected it to be tall. The downside of this product is it's height, and it's extremely unfortunate that the legs are not adjustable. If you're laying on your bed with your feet propped up on blankets or pillows, there is a chance that your legs will catch onto the bottom of the desk. Minor problem, but happens a lot to me. Overall, this product is my best find of 2019 and I'm ending the year off right by reviewing this product. If you're looking for a small lap desk, this product is not for you. But if you're a student needing something similar to a desk in a classroom that is portable and comfortable, this is for you.
