This is a great crimp tool kit for all your wire needs. I was surprised with this crimp tool kit which have good quality compare to other big brand. I have used more expensive crimpers on the job but this one is just as good. After you play around then you will get used to it and get job done very fast with these tubular terminals. If you need to crimp ferrels a lot, this is the tool you need to get. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

This thing is great, especially if you have OCD about wiring. I'm not sure about the review about adjusting for different sizes. Mine did multiple sizes from the medium black to the small whites and all I did was squeeze. You also don't need to make sure that the wire is stripped perfectly to length. Strip wire a little long and snip off the excess after crimp. You can also adjust the length of the ferrule after crimp easily by snipping at the desired crimp location.

I used this to crimp ferrules for my Creality 3d printers. The crimps are very good, and most of them are almost perfectly square (as they should be). I am still trying to figure out how to adjust the tension so I can get better crimps on the smaller ferrules. Anyway, these come in handy and ferrules are the best way to connect your wiring to spring terminals often found on cheaper 3d printers. I'm very happy with the results.

This is a great simple crimp tool I had not used ferrules before for twisted pair before, but after my last product required them I will use them every chance I get. This is a simple tool. Put the wire in a correctly sized ferrule, insert in the tool and squeeze. I have not been able to get a bad crimp yet. The kit came with a nice supply of ferrules that should last for a good long time.

Terminating solid or stranded small gauges are difficult to do correctly. This tool isn't of professional grade, but for the use I will give it, its great. I wish they gave me more of they larger ferrules. I think there is like 200 of the smallest size. It would take a decade to use that many. First impression was tool was too small, but it works okay and takes up less space in a drawer. Its cool to see it produce these perfect little squares.

I've used a couple types of ferrule crimpers for work, and always wanted a set for home use. However the units I've used at work are $250 & $450, so probably not worth it for the handful of crimps I'd do each year. Saw these and thought I'd roll the dice. They certainly haven't seen heavy use, but they appear to be similar in quality to their much more expensive counterparts and produce an utterly equivalent crimp. Highly recommend.

This is a great set. It comes with the crimp tool for those of us who don't have that already. It has several different sizes for just about any job you have to do. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something like this. It works great for me and I hope it works great for you.

Great product - needed it to final wire wire-ends to my HT speakers, this came with the crimper as well as the crimping heads. while crimping heads are all for stabbing type, the crimper itself feels pretty sturdy, it holds pressure well and consist of a ratchet mechanism, so you can complete the crimping movement in several stages (helpful when crimping lower gage wires) in the pictures attached you can see the set, the crimper tool and my test crimps over my speaker wire. (test wire of course, real wire - Kimber, was later on used with these wire ends, but did not want to waste expensive wire over first several crimping tries.) asl in all very pleased - especially with the tool itself. im planning a sub installation in one of my cars and the crimping tool would definitely be an important addition when performing this job

This kit is a great value at a great price. I recently used this kit to wire up a machine with a PLC, HMI and power supply. The ferrules themselves worked perfectly and the crimping tool worked great. The tool itself does not feel like a piece of junk and does a fast, great job crimping. It makes perfectly squared and depress ribbed crimps as shown in the attached pics. The kit has plenty of pieces (100 of each size) too. I used a lot of them (mostly blacks and whites and what's shown in the pic is how many I still have left. One suggestion, don't make the same dumb mistake I did and have the case opened and up high on the thing you're working on or you'll knock it off spilling all the pieces everywhere and playing 800 piece pick up and sorting. Lol. I highly recommend this kit!

I was always on the fence if there was value in crimping your wire ends for screw terminal connections and with on ongoing project where almost every connection will use a screw terminal I decided to make the investment with this well priced kit. I am super happy with the quality of the ferrules themselves and the quality crimps the tool makes. Crimping your wire ends with ferrules gives you a much better connection, lets you easily install and uninstall wire connections and makes for a much cleaner wiring project if you have multiple wires that need to go to a single screw terminal. I would recommend making the investment and purchasing this kit for electronic projects both large and small. The only negative I am going to mention is that it appears that Sopoby offers a kit with only ferrule crimps (no tool) however the colors are different. This will never prevent me from buying additional ferrules from Sopoby but it is one of those things I wonder why the colors are different (like are the replacement ferrules made by a different company and will the quality of the ferrules be different). Anyway, super happy with this purchase.
