bright lines and user-friendly design

This tool is perfect for the indoor projects. I bought it as a gift for a friend who is a craftsman. He now is using it to remodel the ceiling. The light lines are bright enough for indoor. We have not tried outdoors, but I tried in the garage. It is very easy to use and portable. The only thing you need to do is just set up the batteries. Highly recommend.

Great Product!

I have really enjoyed this product. It is the first laser level I have ever owned, and it has met/exceeded my expectations. I like the design and it is quite rugged. I mounted it to a camera tripod that I had in my garage and have used it for hanging pictures, putting up drywall, and installing tile. When needing to transport the device, the box it came in continues to work as a case. During my time with it, I did have an issue and needed to reach out to their customer service department. Accurate Out of the Box

This appears to be a good laser level for home use, and even light construction. The magnetic mount is very strong and has a plastic surface that should not mar any painted door frames, etc used for mounting. To be extra careful, put a piece of paper between the magnet and the metal object you are using. I checked the accuracy with my iPhone level app and the Meterk was right on at 20ft - more than good enough for all indoor tasks. The beam was about 1/8" thick at 20ft, which is no different than my Bosch construction laser. Also, the beam intensity in this test was good even with a large window open in the room. The laser was firing towards the window. The room was not bright or dim, about in-between, so the laser power will be fine for most indoor leveling tasks. Even my Bosch has some trouble on bright days. I will update if it breaks or stops working. Great work, Meterk!

Good Quality

This has tranformed DIY around the home. I'm currently in stalling a new kitchen, have just installed a new en-suote and will be tiling both of them next week. This one item has saved a HUGE amount of time and has transformed the way that I work. It'se excellent for levelling floor standing units, wall units, pipe work and for locating downlights in three of our bedrooms. The unit is very robust and extremely bright - I have used it in bright sunlight in a white room and the laser remained visible. In darker conditions it is staggeringly bright and produces very clear lines. On my first use I also measured the traditional way and found it to be extremely accurate. From that point on, I used it on its own and it's produced very reliable, accurate results and saved a huge amount of time. This item was recommended to me by a professional tiler and I now highly recommend it myself. Others highly experienced people which I've worked alongside have been amazed at how easy it is to use and how effective the results are.

TIME SAVER!

This is one of the best tools for the money. This helped me level a mirror on my wall and making sure that it was straight and not crooked. The laser level is very easy to use. It comes with a magnetic attachment that can attach to any metal if you don't want to use a tripod or place it on a straight surface. Not to mention it comes with batteries already! The item is very affordable compared to the other laser levels in the market and will fulfill your needs! The laser is very strong and you can still see it in broad daylight. Works very well. Very satisfied!

good product

Great little gadget for projecting straight lines. I used this to install bathroom mirrors and it was WAY easier than using a physical level. HOWEVER, the instructions are very poor and written by a non-English speaker. Luckily it is relatively intuitive and therne are demos online from other companies for an almost identical experience product.

Great value make job ever easy

For the price this little laser level does exactly as described. Generate a strait and accurate line both vertically and horizontally. I have attached mine to a camera tripod for easy maneuverability. The laser comes with a magnet attachment which holds very tightly to a variety of metal surfaces. Overall a great product! Works best indoors and when light is dim outdoors.

Accurate enough for precise work.

I was a little nervous to buy this level, however it turned out to be well worth it! I was concerned the measurements wouldn't be accurate enough for my work, but I double checked the first couple angles I marked out and found it to be very precise. It gets five stars from me.

Good straight laser

I work as a professional electrician and took this laser to work recently to test it. Because the mW output is lower than brands like PLS and Makita, this laser is definitely not AS bright in high-ambient-light situations. It also doens't project on the ceiling above, but that's now what its sold as. However, it works phenomenally in scenarios where there isn't much ambient light and you want a projection on a wall. I checked the laser straightness as per the included instructions and it is almost perfect. I would 100% recommend this to someone who needs a laser level for light-duty tasks. It is very high quality and works well.

Bought this laser level for a gift, and checked it out before gifting. Works and is accurate! Nice tidy well-designed packaging, too. We'll have to see if it holds up over time. If so, it's a good value. We have a well-used Stanley, heavier duty and bigger, bought years ago, performs flawlessly. It is bigger and heavier duty than this little unit. This is quite lightweight. But this works! The batteries are easy to remove - just squeeze on two in-built tabs and a whole side piece comes off. My only question was whether the batteries would drain faster. (Our Stanley lasts forever.) Time will tell. And whether the warranty will be upheld. When I went looking for a look-alike, I was dismayed to find that every unit offered, all sorts of brands, had quality problems. Maybe it's because the bad reviews haven't come in yet, but both reviews and inspection give this one 5 stars. I will update if I hear it fails to perform.
