Rainbow Sandals - flip flops

These sandals are great, but the sizing appears to be off by about one size. I'm going to rate the pair that we exchanged for due to sizing. The XL which is supposed to be 11-12 was way narrow. The leather straps looked to be very narrow and upon trying them on, they were absolutely too narrow. I've had Rainbow Sandals before and loved them, so I returned these for a larger size. The new sandals fit perfectly and were comfortable from the first wearing. I would recommend going up a size from your usual shoe size to be happy with the fit.

the perfect sandal

Had a pair before, loved them. Lost one, was sad. BE AWARE: They are uncomfortable for about 3 days but they will mold to your foot and will be super comfortable, try soaking them in warm water and wearing them around, that will help. look great, feel great.

My favorite flip flops

These are literally my favorite pair of flip flops/shoes that I’ve ever owned. I’m currently buying my 3rd pair, and that’s not because of them wearing out. I’ve lost a pair, and now a friend mistakenly took my most recent pair out of the country. I miss them so badly that I need to buy another pair. The last pair I bought in November 2014 and now in January 2019, they are still in fantastic condition. Super comfortable after the short “break in period”. They also look stylish if you ask me. Can’t wait for my next pair to arrive.

Terrific sandals

These are the real deal. I bought them for my daughter to wear on a trip and needed them right away. I was worried the breaking in time would be difficult, but other than them being tight at first, they have been terrific. She work them the whole week to the beach and walking tours with no real problems. She says they fill really well now, and support her similarly to her orthotic inserts. We bought mens because we were worried that womens shoes might be too narrow or the straps too tight, as we have high arches. She wears a women's 10 or 11 in closed toed shoes, and 9 or 10 in mens, so we got the mens 9. I am sure over time she will pronate in them, but for now they are great! I will update over time.

Perfect Flip Flop!

Rainbow flipflops are as great as people say they are! I wear a 10.5 in pretty much all shoes. I ordered the Large and they ended up being just a little too small. After returning them and upgrading to the XL the sizing is perfect. They were slightly uncomfortable/tight fitting at first, but as I walked around in them more and more they wore in nicely. They are now my favorite flip flops I have ever owned. At the price they are slightly expensive, but totally worth the money!

Great sandals

I previously own Rainbow sandals. I love them for everyday use and you don't have to worry about getting them dirty or wet. These sandals are built to last and be rugged. I also own several Olukai sandals and for the price and durability these sandals are worth every penny. I have to be careful with my Olukais so I don't damage them. I can't even get them wet which if you are wearing sandals the probability you are around water is great. With the rainbows that concern goes away which is a great piece of mind not worrying about damaging your sandals

Never a flip flop guy till now. Game. Changer.

Always grew up rockin Adidas slides through years of playing sports. Never in a million years would I wear flip flops, but a friend convinced me to get these and the gf even approved of them as they looked nicer than my traditional slides with outfits. Little stiff at first but after I wore them around the house for a week or two they were ready for Mexico. Upon coming back from Mexico these are now my go to shoe during summertime. They've molded to my feet and feel remarkable. I never travel without these and they are incredible, best sandal ever owned coming from a traditional Adidas slide owner. They look solid with golf shorts as well as basketball shorts too!

I like them very much

When delivery was made, I nearly curled into a fetal ball of fear. With thoughts of all the reviews of bloody blisters and days of pain and scars. I opened the packaging and looked to the sky waiting to scream out in tortured pain. Hmmm. Tight but not bad. I wear a 10 and these are large and fit perfectly. Not too short or long. I wore them for a few hours on errands and yes they do need to break in. But I'm not in terrible pain. They look great and with time they will be butter. I like how tight they are as I don't need to work my feet to keep them on.

Comfortable but needs break in time

I've known several people that swear by these flip flops. Now I know why. It took a bit of time to break in but I have sensitive feet. As soon as I got them I started wearing them around the house like slippers. I bought two pair, black and brown. The nylon that goes between your toes was very stiff on the brown pair and took about a week to not be so uncomfortable. The more you wear them the better they feel. I wear a 9.5 and have a narrow foot with a high arch. I bought the 9.5-10.5 and it fits pretty good.

My favorite sandals. They start out a bit tight and mold to your foot as you break them in.

These are my second pair and they are great. I took them to Jamaica which they were perfect in the sand and water. They start out feeling a bit tight, however after wearing them for a week they mold to your foot and will become your favorite sandals. I have size 13 wide feet by the way. Wearing them too much when they are brand new however will be slightly uncomfortable. I suggest using them for short walking distances at first.
