lots of laughs
This tiny toy has been so much fun! My tween and teen wind up running around the house, laughing and having fun with EACH OTHER, every time one of them turns this on. Even the adults are fascinated by this-- it glides up and down effortlessly, and seems almost magical the way you can direct it with your hands without touching it. The kids have managed to pass it up and down stairs and over a balcony. It recharges easily. Even the dog watches it in amazement, LOL! Disclosure: We were given this item for free in exchange for posting an honest review here as a part of the Amazon Vine reviewer program.

Loads of fun
8 yr old boy LOVES this. One tip is to place the UFO on your flat hand (with switch on) then pull your hand out from under. It will fly. The UFO comes with some charge so should fly nearly immediately, possibly after a few seconds of self-calibrating on a flat surface.

Fun!
Bought this as a gift for an elementary aged boy and it was so much fun. I charged it before the birthday party and my tween was intrigued by it. He played with it for a bit and enjoyed it too. Of course he hit the wall a couple times as he's a bit rougher than a younger boy would be, but it worked fine. Fun for all ages.

This thing is a ball from the moment you get it out of the box
OUT OF THE BOX: Wow this struck me as overkill. I can see where this toy will be destroyed if received as a gift by a impatient young child or adult. I took this toy out of the box and it was screwed (yes I mean screwed) into the plastic. Had I just ripped this off the plastic holder as many young children tend to do, I would have ripped off part of the toy’s plastic housing. Mind you, this is the only negative thing about this toy. INITIAL USAGE Turning it on is a simple button push. But, the lights turned on and nothing happened. I was expecting the toy to start turning the props. Luckily my boyfriend read the directions a bit more thoroughly than I did. He basically lightly dropped the toy and it was aloft. This was so cool. We spent about 15 minutes playing with this thing right off the bat. It buzzed around (sounded like a lot of angry bees) and moved around our kitchen with ease. Occasionally it bounced off things, but it avoided a whole lot more. Our cats wanted to investigate and we were not worried about it as the props were well enclosed. Crashed landed here and there, but took it well. Seems well designed for this. We directed with our hands and then the battery got too low to continue Not bad at all for straight out of the box. BROUGHT IT INTO WORK My co-workers were entranced by this toy. We took it to a conference room and goofed around with it till it needed a charge on several occasions. We didn’t dare let it loose in our open concept office. I had visions of it alighting on the VP’s desk when it decided to wander in the direction of the cubes where we could not get to it fast enough. SHOWED IT TO FRIENDS Within minutes of showing this to some friends at home, they ordered a few of their own. These things are a ball. BATTERY LIFE Batteries are rechargeable, so that’s good. They charge fast and last quite a long time for the charge. ONLY CONCERNS While this item is a lot of fun and I would buy another, young children may be too rough on it. This item would not take getting stepped on well. It is fragile.

Lots of Fun, Kids Love it.
This "Hand-Controlled Flying Ball", from CPSYUB, is a novel little toy. It's very light-weight and although it appears delicate it has flown into ceiling and wall, fallen, and recovered nicely. Its lift is a result of 4 mini fans but I don't think it'll last very long. However, while it survives it is a lot of fun for 7-11 age crowd playing with it. Comes with a direction sheet, USB cord for charging and a small Torx driver to remove the plastic covering. Simple to set up, start/stop/speed controllable with 1 multi-switch. This novel toy came charged but requires about 40 minutes of charge for about 8 minutes of flight with very limited control. Great kid fun, in a controlled space, for a limited time.

A Whole Lot of Fun!
This is a whole lot of fun. If you're looking for a truly original toy and gift for children, this is a winner. It's even fun for adults. It will make your holiday sparkle. It's an action toy. You will have fun chasing this toy down and catching it. Our four-year-old had a blast with this. He was giggling. It gives him exercise trying to reach it. This will make your Christmas, Hanukkah or birthday party even more lively and enjoyable. We played with it happily inside and out. You wouldn't want to play with it next to a road with cars passing by. Kids should be monitored playing with it. A big field would be great or fenced-in backyard kind of thing.

Replacement product a blast
First of all, I ordered this toy from our home in PA to take to grandsons in TX. When we tried it, it didn’t work even after charging. Contacted Amazon who delivered a replacement literally within hours to the new address in metro area in TX. And the replacement was an upgrade. This second model is teriffic. The 3 boys ages 6, 4, and 2 love playing with it. Unlike other fliers it does not have exposed propellers. It almost seems to have a personality as it decides how to respond away from you trying to steer it in the air. Their dad and grandpa had as much fun with it as the boys. The lights make it fun too. We took it outside and had to fish it out of the neighbor’s bushes over the fence so recommend keeping it indoors as mfg intended. Only downside is it flies for 8-10 min when fully charged and then needs recharged, but it is a simple process and fairly quick. Let’s the adults rest. It isn’t a rugged toy so supervision by an adult will allow the flier to live longer. All in all, good service by Amazon and the fun with the device earns the experience 5 stars. Even tho the first version was junk.

It was the hit of Christmas
My grandson loved it. Everyone was trying it out. Even when it bounced off walls it started right up again. My grandson was very anxious waiting for it to recharge. He would only wait a few minutes and even thought he didn't wait for a complete recharge, the UFO still flew for a few minutes.
