  • ★ WE ARE ALWAYS HERE TO HELP- According to our test,we found that it will be better to use #14 needle to work when you use our glow in the dark embroidery machine thread. Normally we use #9 or #11 needles to work when we are using polyester thread. But we'd better change a larger size needle when use this glow thread. Or the thread may get a break during its work. Anyway,we will always do you a favor whenever you get a problem and contact us.

The thread itself is a little finicky for the fact it is thicker and easy to unravel. Once you understand the nuances of changing needles and setting the correct tension, this thread is a wonderful novelty that adds a great touch to embroidery! I have only ever embroidered on wash-away interfacing in order to make patches and free standing lace (see in the photos). I've noticed that the best needle to use on my machine is a very sharp 90/14 universal in this case, but I am still working out some tension issues and am by no means a professional... That being said, as a hobbyist this is still relatively easy to use!

Oh my goodness! I had an order for 13 glow in the dark birthday shirts and was quite afraid they wouldn’t work properly. LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!! These were an absolute hit and looked like part of the glow in the dark decorations. Soooo excited. The people at the event hall were really impressed!!

Tested the Glow in the dark thread that I received a few days ago. I also wanted to see if I could use a small design/drawing via free-motion. 75/11 needle Material 100% Cotton. Dress = 513 from the 63 count. Green Glow in the Dark thread. I ran both through the needle. Wings = 542 from the 63 count & Blue Glow in the Dark thread also doubled through the needle. After the three tornadoes we had here in Sioux Falls, SD we had major overcast today. Item only got 2 hours of sunlight on it. The Glow in the Dark needs a lot of juice but works. After two-three minutes the glow was fading. The design itself was too small but provided food for thought. Next time will have to use the different needle size to prevent Glow thread breakage.

Got my glow in the dark thread today. Was so excited to use it. I done to pot holders with it. Loved that it was tied in a bow and easy to get open. The roll was so full and lots on it. But I had several breaks in the thread and one of the rolls had little loops all in it. Which wasn’t pleasant to deal with. All my friends had bought this thread. But no the glow in the dark thread. So maybe it’s because it’s glow in the dark thread. I’ll had pictures so you all can see what I’m talking about. Wish now I’d got the other thread. But that’s what you get when you go rebel. Also the thread would get rapped around my needle. Like it was left behind.update I used a different needle the company suggested I use and lord did it make a world of difference I would total reorder this product again. Last picture is using the new needle and the thread rubbed so smoothly. Love love love it.

Made a glow in the dark Celtic cat for a friend's baby quilt; for her mom who passed just as she got married to her husband, and two years before her grandson was born- a way to symbolically add her back into their lives. I also have made some super fun things to a friends at work (Such as unicorns).

Nice thread. I have made lace patterns with it so far. It did break a couple of times, but not excessively. Colors are nice, and it glows pretty good. I use a LED UV light to charge it up and it does glow nice and bright and lasts a bit.

Haven’t had any problem. Stitches fine. It’s. It glossy like regular embroidery thread, but it does glow in dark.

I wanted some fun thread to quilt this fun Halloween wall-hanging. After a little searching, I found this glow-in-the-dark thread. I am always a little apprehensive to use threads/brands I am not familiar with, but this was a risk worth taking! I quilt on a HQ Amara, and the thread did great! Not a single shredded thread on my entire top. I did slow down the speed to about 45% and loosen tension quite a bit. I will definitely be purchasing this thread in larger quantities next time!

They really glow in the dark! At first I though they were tiny, but the description states the size, so all is well. I haven't used them yet, but the colors look just like in the photo and they glow in the dark after being exposed to direct light. Totally recommend them!

I recently used this glow in the dark thread for a Halloween project. I had no issue with the stitching. No breaks, loops, or bird nests. Nice to have a choice of colors. Great for smaller projects as the spools aren’t large. Perfect for decorative accents!
