Heater for Betta fish

Started using this with my betta fish, he is happy and warm!! 2 months later, it's not working. :( contacted seller, they responded, great thank you, not sure what that means. Going to contact them again for a replacement.

Works Great as Intended

Sir Stephen LOVES his new heater. He was getting stressed with the cooler temperature in the water as it has been an unusually cold winter here. He even uses it to sleep on from time to time. The free plastic plants were a plus. The biggest difference now, besides the water is more to his liking, is that you have to pay attention to the water level. Due to the quicker evaporation of the warmer water, the level drops and can fall low enough for the heater to be exposed which is a huge no-no. Other than being careful about that, we love it!! Thank you.

Great product

This product works great. Keeps both of my 3.5 gallon tanks at a constant temperature. I have tried several different types of heaters for my small tanks, they all would over over heat the tanks or didn't have a indicator light so i wouldn't even know if they were working or running constantly. It has been such a hassle to find a good heater for smaller tanks. Honestly i was hesitant at first after trying so many previously and they were failures, so I didn't have high hopes for this one. But even being a 25watt thought it would be too much. I was very wrong, this is the perfect heater for small tanks. I'd recommend it for anything 2.5gallon and up it's too long for smaller tanks. It works perfectly. Best heater i have ever bought for a small tank. Great product.

Great, solid little heater, doesn’t damage plastic tanks

I’ve had this heater for about a month now, and I absolutely love it! William the Betta loves it too! He’s in a 2 gallon plastic tank (upgrading him soon, he was gifted to us in said aquarium) and it keeps the water about 78°F. My initial worry was that the heater would damage the plastic tank, not so at all. The suction cups keep it firmly in place, and the fact that it is fully submersible makes it easy to place it somewhere subtle. It is a fixed heater, meaning you cannot adjust the temperature, so this is definitely ideal for fairly small tanks. It keeps my two gallon just right, and my Betta actually sleeps on top of the heater at night! Gift your finned friend this heater today; many people don’t realize Bettas need heaters, and never get to experience them in their true splendor because they just aren’t kept warm enough! This heater is just right for that!

A great buy!

It's been so cold lately that my little guy wasn't moving much. Got the heater in one day, took it out of the box and dropped it in the tank. It was super simple and ready to use. My fishy is now active again and rests on the heater. I swear he was smiling. 😂 Great product, highly recommended.

My betta really likes this heater

I was afraid when I bought it that it would heat the water too quickly and kill my little guy. When I came back in hours later and found him wedged on top of the heater between and power cord and the wall of the aquarium, I was certain he was dead. Nope. He likes it so much he just sleeps there. He's doing it right now, which is considerably quieter than his former favorite sleeping spot - sucked against the water pump's intake vent. You gotta get your thrills somewhere I guess.

I'm Sure the SZELAM 25W Smart Mini Aquarium Heater Is A Good Tank Heater

I recently purchased the SZELAM 25W Smart Mini Aquarium Heater for the tank I had originally planned to set up, as it turns out, that smaller tank was delivered damaged, so I wound up sending it back & going with another slightly larger tank (the Fluval Flex 9) which required a slightly higher wattage heater to sufficiently ensure my baby betta would be warm & happy, so I wound up sending back the SZELAM 25W Smart Mini Aquarium Heater, and purchasing another. The item did ship fast from the seller, and in New condition, and I'm sure it would have worked out just fine had I kept it and used the item in the intended smaller tank, but alas - since I did not, I can't rate the item based on performance, only on the initial purchase and seller exceeding my expectations in getting the item shipped promptly and my experience with returning it to Amazon, who refunded my account promptly minus the shipping charge which I understand, due to the nature of my return.

Great customer service

My previous review was negative, as the first product I received did not work. I am editing now as the seller was quick to address the issue and send a new product, which works GREAT. Obviously the first was just a dud, it happens. They were in constant contact with me and made sure to ask me pertinent questions to make sure it wasn't operator error. The heater itself is perfect for beta/small tanks and has a great, sleek look compared to other small heaters. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small tank heater. And it comes with a few cool looking plants, to boot.
