Worth the price - I love it!
If you’re like me - who enjoys taking photos on their phone but want it enhanced with a wider angle, fisheye effect, and/or upclose and in detail, I’d highly recommend purchasing Moment Lens. Their phone cases work as a mount for the lens so if you upgrade your phone, you won’t need to repurchase the lens - just the case. I’ve used other brands and had to repurchase the lens everytime I changed phones, which became costly. Overall, I’m in love with the quality of each lens. My girlfriend gifted me the wide lens and I ended up buying myself a few others because i loved it so much. My most recent purchase was the Tele lens. I often go to concerts and my iPhone, with zoom, doesn’t get a nice clear photo of the stage. The Moment Tele lens is able to capture a better shot. Its worth the price in my opinion. Their customer service team is amazing by the way so don’t hesitate to reach out to them. They’re extremely helpful, which makes me even more glad I went with Moment.

A well-made tool
The lens is well-made, it fits perfectly in the case that is designed for it, and its picture quality is excellent. For best results, you’ll want to get their camera app, so download it and pay for “pro.” For an app, the price is high at $4.99, but remember that you just shelled out upwards of $150 for the lens and case. Don’t whine about five bucks. If you find that the quality isn’t as good as a DSLR, welcome to reality; a phone camera will never out-perform a DSLR. And while you’re downloading, get Snapseed. It’s a remarkably powerful free photo editor that can help you turn drab snapshots into beautiful little works of art (notice I said, “…can help you…” Equipment will never make you more talented or skillful; that’s up to you).

I love my Moment Lense!
Out of all my toys, this practical little lense has nothing to envy to the big bulky lenses. I’m loving it, and can’t wait for my free time to come around to take it up the mountains to take some cool shots.

Excellent lens.
Love it. The only nit I have is those little bags and a lack of a cover for the rear of the lens. I would suggest a smaller cap attached to the larger lens cap with string or rubber so you could easily cover both sides of the lens. The little bags are a problem when you're on the go.

A great lens to up your portrait game on your phone!
I ordered this lens the second it was announced and I was able to see all of the awesome test shots and comparisons that Moment posted on YouTube. I have a Pixel 3 XL with the Moment case so I was excited to put it through the paces. And it did not disappoint. Moment flip-flops between referring to their 58mm lens as either a "telephoto" or a "portrait" lens, depending on the context or the time of day. To set a clear expectation for you, I would recommend you focus on the "portrait" aspect of this lens and not the "telephoto". On my Pixel 3, the amount of zoom-in provided by this lens is, in my opinion, subtle. Trying to get a bit more focus and detail on something far away in a landscape is one area you might find the lens lacking. You'll get a little closer, but not a lot. So, for me personally, I don't consider this a "telephoto" lens where you're going to get a lot of optical zoom. But in the context of a "portrait" lens, it shines. Again, the zoom being subtle, the difference here is not a big margin, but the difference will be more noticeable on more up-close subjects like people and objects when you want to focus on those. It tightens things up just enough to deepen the depth-of-field and get a little more of that blurry, buttery background behind your portrait subjects (or the foreground if you're focusing on the background and want to get a bit more artsy). Combine this lens with the Pixel 3's already present Portrait Mode and the effects are absolutely astounding. The lens already adds more definition between your sharply focuses subject and a more blurred everything else in the depth-of-field, and it seems to make the phone's AI job of differentiating things even easier and more accurate, resulting in some incredibly dynamic portraits. Over New Year's weekend, I took a ton of photos for a wedding, and even in soft interior lighting (mostly Edison bulbs and string lights), the candid portraits I got of all the guests rival anything I've done on a DSLR in the past. When people would pose and then ask to see the photo, they were completely blown away by what I'd created just by pointing and shooting them without any editing in post at all. I also love my Moment Wide-Angle lens, but this one has become my absolute go-to when I'm at an event and capturing what's going on. If you're going to use this for video, be prepared to stabilize your phone somehow. The slight zoom-in definitely accentuates your natural body movements and you will notice shakier footage than normal. Not the fault of the lens, just the reality of optics. A lot of people are familiar with Moment's former telephoto lens and ask, "Why would I get this new 58mm tele/portrait lens?" The answer: Moment's old telephoto lens was designed with smartphones of an older generation, which used different optics as well as sensors onboard. That lens was designed with the hardware of the time in mind, but when cameras in phones took a major leap over the last few years that lens didn't perform well on the latest phones. Many people were buying that old Moment tele lens for their new phones and were highly disappointed in the results they were getting, citing distortion around the edges, blurriness, etc. Moment produced this new 58mm tele/portrait lens and discontinued the old one to bring a new, updated offering for tele/portrait use with today's phone camera hardware in mind and consideration. So if you tried the old tele lens with your newer phone and were disappointed and thinking this lens is just a cash-grab, there's your explanation, and I have to recommend you give this one a shot. But in my opinion, keep a firm expectation that this IS more of a portrait lens for subjects 6-20' away which excels at deepening your depth-of-field, than a telephoto lens to capture something way off in the distance. These lenses are also built super solidly. I've already dropped them once (luckily with the lens cap attached) and the lens was just fine. Construction is a very sturdy (and hefty) full glass and metal body.

Great lens for product photography.
I’ve been using Moment lenses for a few years now, so the quality of the Tele 58mm didn’t come as a surprise. Generally I’ve used the other lenses I’ve purchased for wide, landscape and environment shots, but with the Tele, I needed something to take photos for product reviews. This lens does an excellent job, showcasing details, and producing an ease of use that was exactly what I wanted.

Love my moment lenses
Great lens for the Google Pixel phones. Who really wants to carry a full size camera around anymore. With these lenses I don't have a need to. They have great tutorials and information videos on their website.

Easy to carry, easy to use, and makes for a good extension of my iPhone X camera's capability. I own a number of cameras - digital and film - but the phone is always with me. I figured I should make the most of that situation with this set-up. While the optical zoom bump isn't quite what I'd hoped (it's optics/light/math, so I have no reason to really expect more), the clarity and depth is very nice. I'm pleased with the purchase and will recommend.

This is quality!! Glass lens!!
My first purchase from moment. I am new to the Pixel and am very pleased so far as a freelance photographer but don't want to lug around a DSLR everywhere Quality lens!!! Fits very snug on the phone case. Lens cover is very snug on the lens. Now I need to collect all the lenses!! Real wood. In the back is carved with the saying, long live the picture taker. I was worried because there were no reviews or photos. Very happy customer!! Unfortunately it didn't come in time for my Barbados trip but it was in the mailbox when I got home. Took about three weeks.
