Living on the coast, needed something for my apartment to help with moisture. This was the best price/quality I have found.

Works like a charm

So far, we received the Gurin de-humidifier, pieced it together in about 2 minute, plugged it in, and it immediately started pulling water in our bathroom. We have had trouble with the "pink mold" in the shower, and since I plugged this thing it, it hasn't been back. It has been running whisper quiet, and removing water from the air as advertised.

Full time camper

I am a homesteader that lives in a camper full time. I never believed how people said these were essential to camper life, but I was wrong. 24 hours of use in and I've collected at least three cups worth of water, my walls are not damp, my counters are not sweaty, and my floor is dry. This is worth the buy.

Perfect for my studio apartment

I bought this to use in my small apartment that holds a lot of houseplants and has an average humidity of 70%. It's a very simple design and takes less than a minute to set up out of the box. I got this, plugged it in, and let it go. An hour later, it had already sucked about 3 tablespoons of moisture from the air. I think it's safe to say that this was really a good investment for me.

A Great Dehumidifier

There is not much to say about it because it worked right out of the box. I didn't have to put anything together. It works as advertised. I use in my bedroom and it collected one tank of water over five day period of time, the first time I used it. I live in Washington state and in the summertime there's a lot of humidity. When you pull out the tank there's a small plug on top you pull out to empty the water. It does shut itself off when the tank is full, which is a very good feature. It is easy to clean. So I give it a two thumbs up.

Great Unit!

Bought this unit to use in our camper when its not in use. I have to say I'm very impressed with this little workhorse. The humidity in our small camper went from 75-80% while using a couple tubs of DampRid to 59-62% humidity without the DampRid! After using this for a month now, I have found that it needs to be emptied about every other day, even though I check it every day. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to dehumidify a small room, closet or even a small camper.

A good invest for small rooms!

I love it! Definitely removes moisture from any room of 400 sq ft.

They work great!

We live in the tamp bay Florida area, in a small home without central air. We've been running these non-stop since we got them, aobut a month ago. It's super humid in Florida to begin with, but even more so for us as we live in a marshy wet area. We bought five of these units and we have them set up in the bathroom, laundry room and three bedrooms. They are quiet, they run til they full. The power light changes from green to orange when it's time to empty it. And like one other reviewer suggested, when I empty it, I add a touch a bleach to keep it from getting yucky. The only thing I would change is to make it a lift off lid to empty it, and be able to wash it out. Other than that I love these and I would buy them again.

Actually Pretty Neat

Tiny, almost silent, but works really well. I have a small bathroom with no vent or windows, so I was concerned about mold growing. With this running there's barely any condensation on my walls and what's there fades only a few minutes after even long, scalding showers. It is perfectly sized to fit on top of the cabinet over my toilet.

Quiet and Effective

This is a little work horse! I have never had one but i got one for every room and they really pull a lot of moisture out of the air and they are quiet.
