Easy install

I like these inserts they install smoothly and more evenly than others that I have used. What I mean by this is the handles on the tool close together at a more even and consistent rate. I used them just yesterday in an aluminum screen door frame so I could attach a pice of plexiglass as a storm panel that can be taken on and off easily.

The work perfect

These work perfect for a project I'm working on. I couldn't find a drawing before I bought them so I made one. I used a digital caliper and checked the sizes on three different ones and took the average. If you don't have the tool to install Rivet Nuts then I would get a long bolt install a nut and a few washers and then the Rivet Nut. Place it into the hole you cut and then tighten down the nut and hold the bolt in place. Its the best way to install it if you don't have a tool. If you find that the Rivet Nut also tuns with the nut try using grease between the washers so they can slide easier. Not much more to say other than that. They are great.

Great stainless nutserts

They install easily after drilling a 23/64” hole. Work and hold great. Max material depth of 1/8”. Get a good nutsert tool that looks like a bolt cutter, don’t skimp on that.

The perfect solution for aluminum boat

These worked great to install some LED lights on the front of my boat. There was no way I could fit inside the front hatch to hold a nut on the bottom of the hole, while someone else tightened the bolt from the top, not to mention having to do it all over again if I ever wanted to remove them. These were the absolute perfect solution to my problem. Also, I did these without the specialized tool and they still worked great. Just needed a 5/16 grade 5 bolt about two inches long with full threads, a couple washers, and a nut. You can YouTube how to set this up. I had trouble finding a hex bolt with enough threads, so I used a carriage bolt and just clamped a pair of vise grips on the head. Great river nuts, we’ll see how stainless they are in the salt water. I’ll update this review if they fail to hold up.
