Very good scale

Even though the instructions claim accuracy only around +/-200g for <20kg (half that over 20kg), I found the scale far more accurate than that using very low weights. In fact, I'd say it's 10X that accurate in the several tests I gave it with calibration weights and other items. For example, I had a 200g calibration weight that weighed in at 200g and a 500g that weighed in at 510g, both far more accurate than +/-200g. Also, a nice feature is being able to turn off the data hold. You will need to turn off the data hold for at least half of all applications, so don't lose the instructions on how (you hold down the center TARE button and then push on/off once the HOFF/HON appear if I recall. If you want it off, you'll need to turn it back off after changing the 2032 batteries too). The only feature I'd really like to have is to be able to set the automatic turn-off time to over 1 minute (or completely off), but I can deal with it I suppose.

Whats not to like

I received the product (had ordered two of them) within 2 days of ordering (thanks Prime). The scale itself is light weight, big numbers, well lit and uses the coin batteries which keep this hardware light. The hook has a tuck-in place at the back which is very convenient since it wont get stuck to your clothing etc while traveling with the scales. I read a review which said its better to remove the batteries if the scale is not in use for long, which I too recommend (wont drain the batteries). Overall a well-built one. The only improvement which might have helped is if there was a wrap-around possibility for bigger suitcases if the hook doesnt hold on its own (If the suitcase has a thicker handle which is bigger diameter than the hook itself). Hopefully we can get a v2 of this?

Great for Gardening - Excellent Customer Service

Great little scale you can take anywhere to use. I do a lot of gardening, restoring lawns, roses, and other flower beds. Restorations require a lot of fertilizer every month like clockwork. With this scale, I can measure out pounds of organic fertilizers, or ounces of things like pre-emergents. Having accurate measurements takes the guesswork out of the equation and ensures I don’t over apply and risk damaging any plants, or waste fertilizer. It’s portability is great as I am also restoring a friend’s lawn, so I can take this little scale with me to measure out fertilizers at their home. In addition, their customer service is great. The first scale I received had a slight glitch in it. The customer service people were very responsive and quickly got a replacement scale to me right away.

Buy this little guy !!!

Yaba - Daba - Doooo !!!!!! Very nice. But, the end of the tape tends to Retract back up into the unit and you have To undo the little screws , take it apart and feed It back through the slit. I put some duct tape on the end so as to enlarge it so as to not allow it to Disappear again👌🏼American-ized !

Works great for calibrating torque wrenches.

I watched a video on how to calibrate torque wrenches and the creator used a scale similar to this. I checked the accuracy with some weights and it seemed fairly accurate. I can't comment how accurate as I don't think the weights probably are not to accurate either. Anyway, used a small rope around the handle of my torque wrenches and was able to check and calibrate them. Easy to read and easy to use.

Easy to use

I purchased this scale to weigh my backpacking gear. It is very handy and easy to use. Much easier and more accurate than standing on a bathroom scale and subtracting your own weight. Remember that if weighing anything heavy you will need to be able to lift it slightly off the ground. The handle is large enough that two could grip it if needed. I gave 4 stars on accuracy because the readings fluctuate somewhat but very minor. I really like this item.

Easy to use, very intuitive.

I opened the box with my new travel scale. and I was able to weigh all my luggage within 10 minutes of the opening. I will leave on an overseas trip in two days and I am feeling very confident that my bags will pass all the weight and size requirements.

Perfect for weighing a horse's nibble net and knowing how much hay to give!

I bought this scale to weigh the amount of hay I put in my horses' nibble nets. I don't always weigh the horses' meals, but by measuring hay by weight I don't have to guess about how many flakes to give based on size and density. When someone else needs to feed the horses, this scale spares me from having to describe by visual appearance how much hay to give the horses at each feeding. I can just give the person a recommended weight range. The scale is easy enough to use that anyone can manage it without instructions!

Ounces turn into pounds

I bought it to replace an old one. I use it to weight my backpack when going camping. Most recently use it during a backpacking training to show a group of scouts the before and after weight of their backpacks. It is amazing to see how much unnecessary weight they carry in the beginning of the training and how much they drop at the end of the training.

Great scale

We bought this scale to weigh our bags during a recent vacation with a cheapo airline that changes extra for a drink of water on the flight or if you don’t check in by a certain time. The scale was extremely accurate matched exactly with the airline one, so we did not pay extra.
