Good Scanner

This scanner works well so far! The only thing I would complain about is that the instruction manual lacks a lot of the codes needed to program the scanner, I had to contact customer support via email but they were very helpful and solved my problem quickly.

Barcode reader with excellent tech support

My application for a barcode reader is shelf management in stores -- recreating store sections in the computer so we can make new item or placement suggestions. This involves scanning either UPCs or shelf tags. Setup on the Esky could not be simpler -- plug the receiver into a USB port let the unit charge up and you are in business. Out of the box the scanner returns the UPC along with the check digit - the number on the right of a UPC tag that is mathematically calculated to ensure the code is correct. My software just wants the code without the check digit and there was no way to turn this off in the little book of setup codes that came with the unit. Esky tech support came through with setup code to turn this feature off. They were very responsive and didn't give up when the first try did not work. After working with wired scanners for a long time it is a joy to just grab the scanner and go.

Easy and works great

Easy to install. Works fast and accurate. Had issues with 2 different scanners before buying this one. No more problems. Makes the job much easier!

Very easy to setup. Great product and would definitely buy from this brand again. Battery life seems to be really good as well.

Good customer service. I requested help programming the scanner and i got the results that i wanted.

Product is not expensive as other brands and brings the same value as those big brands. I just got a second one after trying it for a week.

Reliable

Great product, easy to program. Has not caused any issues after a couple weeks of use. Only drawback I’d say is the instruction manual contains instructions for a different model, but overall pretty easy to differentiate.
