Bought it for a rental space, successfully pass the city inspection. Very easy to install and because it’s two in one, limited the hazard of install multiple devices. Good price, useful product.

Easy to install

I have 2 hardwired smoke alarms in my home that are past due to be replaced. I wanted to add the protection of a detector as well. I was also wanting a plug and play replacement that would work with my existing detectors because I plan on replacing a few ever month or so until they are all replaced. I bought one of them to start with the upstairs hallway outside of all the bedrooms. It was a direct replacement and used the same plug as the old one pictured above. I could have even used the same mounting plate but did not because it was old and yellow. After removing the old one I only had to back out the screws a few turns to remove the mount. Installed the new mount, plugged in the new detector using the existing plug, and twisted it on to the mount. 5 min install time. Super

Great Value

I needed to replace the old smoke detectors in my house so I bought these. The instructions were clear so it was easy to install/replace my old ones. They come with the batteries too so I don't have to worry about that. Great value the fact that it comes with 2 and batteries included. Overall happy with my purchase.

This is not the traditional Fire Alarm . They are independent, easy to install.
