high quality camera tripod
Strong and sleek in design. Works great. Does not feel or look cheap at all. Bag is also sturdy. It would have been even better if a compatible pan head was also provided along with the ball head that comes with the product.

Solid quality
This tripod has a quality look and feel to it. It is quite heavyweight for a plastic one, all the legs are solid and sturdy, like that it has balls on the feet meaning it finds a good footing even on an uneven surface, overall build is solid and the unit stands still in heavy wind.

Best Value Budget Tripod
I ordered this tripod just to compare with my $130 carbon fiber Utrifoto U-01 Tripod. My carbon fiber tripod is lighter, but it has some "flex" and flimsyness that I can't shake. It bothers me when I have to go out with my 70-200 canon lens. So I decided to go with a $60 Alluminum tripod. When I got this tripod, I was amazed at the way it's built. The materials used does not say cheap whatsoever. I like the red accents with my tripod because it is the same theme with my accsoon a1-s. It is heavier than carbon fiber for sure. No flex when I increase pressure on it, which makes me feel really safe mounting expensive lenses and cameras on it. It has a "snap" lock instead of the screw type lock to extend the legs. I prefer this because there is NO guessing game on "did i securely tighten the lock?" This snap type lock is really the way to go if you can't afford the $3000 schnyder tripods yet. It folds into a pretty good packable size. Comes with a bag to store it. The head is high quality. When I pan the camera by loosening the pan-lock, it turns and stops SMOOTHLY; no jerky movements. Has a hook in the middle for sandbags, or your camera bag to add weight for stability. Easy to convert into a Monopod if you choose to do so. I use the monopod and adapted the end to my accsoon a1-s to make a Pretty Tall JIB. All in all, it is $60-65 tripod that everyone should choose to buy in my opinion. The combination of materials, sturdiness, weight, makes it really easy to recommend this one. Thumbs up!

great tripod for my mirrorless camera
This tripod is easy to use and seems well made. The leg locks are secure and bode confidence when mounting your gear on top. There's definitely some wobble when extended to its highest position. I wouldn't feel comfortable mounting 17.64 lbs at its maximum height especially if there's a strong breeze. It would be fine at probably 2/3's of the height. I use this specifically for my mirrorless camera so the weight is fairly low. Everything seems fairly straight forward to use so for the price it's comparable to many of the no name brand products available on amazon. The leg shafts are reasonably thick in diameter so it doesn't wobble compared to others. I had a chance to also use Benro which had a twist lock vs these with a flip lock for the leg mechanisms. The twist lock ones can fail unexpectedly. Imagine mounting your camera and having one of the legs suddenly give way... no thanks. I ended up replacing that with this. It's a bit more time to set up but overall this is more secure. The Benro twist lock mechanisms had decent feedback but one of the legs despite feeling very tight, slowly lost grip and started shortening over time. It wasn't sudden but some of the reviewers have mentioned that it was a possibility. This dual purpose tripod/monopod gives all the features I was looking for at a price point I was willing to afford. - Foam handle feels comfortable - Aluminum legs are well machined - Locks are secure and easy to use - Ball head is smooth - It looks fairly sharp and sleek with its chrome and red highlights - Non-slip feet does it's job though I wish there were more feet options like spikes or wheels. - Hook for counterweight is useful - Red leg angle adjustments make it easy to find - Fairly compact and lightweight to travel around with Overall I'm quite satisfied with this especially with the flexibility in design.

Not a $500 Tripod!
They sent me a phone holder! So cool! This tripod is not a high end $500 tripod. I have super expensive tripods and this one is easily worth $200. It’s the classic click-style closures, which I love. The construction is really strong and durable. The head is smooth and easy to move around. The only down side? The arca swiss plate and holder are plastic. They seem like strong plastic, but they are plastic. I teach photography classes and this tripod is going to one of my students at my next class. It’s worth the money 100% and recommended for a beginner photographer.

Lightweight & Compact Travel Tripod/Monopod!
Whoa...I can't believe this thing weighs less than 3 lbs! I got this for my boyfriend as a present since I already own a bitching set of Gitzo carbon fiber legs with a heavy-duty pan-tilt head for my setup and his Slik full-sized tripod weighs a ton, so he hardly ever packs it when we fly anywhere. Anyhow, quite a sturdy little guy, this tripod is and totally worth every penny. It's such a steal at the price point for all that it does, for sure. Using this tripod made me nostalgic of the flip-locks days. The head is mostly plastic, so it's not meant to be used for any heavy f/2.8 telephotos unless it's set in straight no-frills landscape mode. The description says it can support up to 17.64 lbs, but I wouldn't trust this in any windy situation for a 10+ lbs setup, even then, I would always hang a heavy bag underneath for added stability (as shown in one of the photos). In the portrait mode, I'm afraid it will easily tilt over from the weight of any pro lens, which is true of most cheap ball heads, and all pistol grips type regardless of price anyhow. I like that the QR plate is symmetrical so you can't really mount the camera on incorrectly like we typically do when we rush mounting on our respective Manfrotto QR's. I don't love that it uses an 3/8" screw to secure the QR plate though, there's no snap into place feeling with Bogen QR's and it's not super quick. But this is under $70, so you get what you pay for and this is a fairly minor setback because it's so light that we will actually take it on road trips and flights anywhere, which is the main selling point. Oh, and this comes with a durable-looking plain and simple gear bag.
