The Best Spillproof Lids

I've tried several different kinds of lids and these are my favorite. One type I have hits my nose when I drink out of it. Others leak but this one is leak proof. It slides easily and firmly closes. I knocked my tumbler over and it didn't leak. I use these on my 20 oz. tumblers and hope to find these for 30 oz. tumblers soon. I highly recommend these.

Great quality lid with useful design improvements

I accidentally broke the original lid that came with my Rtic Tumbler but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Unlike the original lid, this lid has an extremely useful closing mechanism. Not only does it alleviate concerns about spilling while I'm driving my car, but I can also close the lid now and mix protein/other drinks in my tumbler (no more warm protein shakes or condensation sweating). Also, if you take a moment to make sure the lid is completely on and sealed properly, it creates a pretty strong seal... I've even tried turning the tumbler upside down without noticing any leakage. I'm still not super confident about putting a full tumbler in my backpack using this lid but that's probably just because I'm being paranoid... Overall, this lid is a vast improvement over my original lid and feels very solid and well made. I expect it will last for quite a while. Side note, it's also easier to get on and off than the previous lid I owned.

Solved my morning drive problems

I loved my Ozak Trail tumblers, but every time I took a sharp turn with my car in the morning, my coffee was all over the cup holders. So I got these lids, and this solved my problem 100%. Made my tumblers so much easier, great upgrade. I wash the lids in the dishwasher without any issues as they seems to be well made. It is a bit tough to slide them to open, but this is how I prefer it, so it does not slide open by mistake and cause a spill.

Great Customer Service

Edit: My first lid was defective, but I reached out to customer service. They were very pleasant and got me a replacement quick. My replacement works great and is completely leak proof. Although you can't do returns through Amazon, just email the company to get it resolved. Original post: This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. This is definitely not leak or spill proof! The seal isn't tight at all and let's the liquid inside out easily. This product being silicone means nothing when it comes it to being spill proof. I'm utterly disappointed. Be cautious since this product does NOT DO RETURNS.

They protect the hot coffee I love, and my hands and clothes

I am a picky coffee drinker, only the coffee we brew at home, so I take my coffee to work with me. I also love my 20oz Yeti, but as I am briskly walking into work, my coffee would slosh out. These lids solve the problem. It is important to follow the directions for use with hot liquids. It only takes a few times of conscience attention of following the directions of opening the lid to properly secure or remove from the Yeti, for it to become habit. The Yeti does such a good job keeping my coffee hot, if not making it hotter, I leave the lid open to vent for a little while so the heat does not push the lid off. If you follow the recommended instructions for hot beverages you'll love it. I did knock my coffee over once briefly, and it truly did not leak a drop.

returned it, can't clean under sliding tab and vent hole too small

No way to clean under the sliding cover, also the vent hole is too small and does not let sufficient air into the cup to drink liquid. If manufacture made a removable sliding tab to clean underneath and a bigger vent hole this would be an amazing product. It gets the job done.

This item fits my 20 ounce Yeti tumbler. The slide lock is firm without binding. It will take time to see if it loosens up.[UPDATE]. The lid works as expected. I used it twice on a 40 minute commute. The second time I completely forgot to occasionally vent the lid as recommended in the detailed instructions. No mishap. The does keep my homebrew coffee from spilling.

Perfect fit & no leaks

The lid that came with the custom cup I had purchased was lost and I needed a replacement. This worked perfectly! As you can see my cup opening is just about 3.25 inches in diameter. The lids don't leak IF you follow the instructions - be sure the "closing tab" is open when you place it on the cup. My second picture shows my cup full of hot tea and turned upside down and there are no leaks!

fit well

I like that they will fit our 20 oz tumblers. They work as well as directed. You do not want to tip a hot drink upside down for very long, the pressure of the hot drink loosens the lid. I like it and the quality is great, I just wish it flowed better. the air hole is under the slider and I think it is holding back the liquid from coming out faster or fast enough for me.

Updated - less than perfect

Fantastic replacement lids. The rubber piece went missing on my original Ozark Trail cup's lid. I found these and ordered them immediately. I love how the lid actually closes. The seal is perfect. I'd highly recommend these to anyone. 1/14/2019 - Updated, the lid has gotten a bit of coffee under the slider part and there's no way to clean it which is disgusting. These lids won't be used for long, I'm already on the hunt for something better.
