Great outlet!

I really like this outlet/splutter/surge protector. It’s got ample USB ports, it’s low profile, it actually adds an extra outlet, and it’s a surge protector! The only downside for me is that the power indicator light is a bit bright. There’s also a post on the back that you may need to break off if you’re trying to plug this into a GFCI outlet, or one that’s a little more spaced out. Also, this will only work in an outlet with a ground prong.

Smoke came out of it...

After my original review, I was contacted by the company (Vicki) and offered a free replacement and a free gift (3 plugin nightlights with 2 usb ports each). I'm happy to say that the replacement Multi wall outlet adapter is working great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy as the company is very aggressive and interested in ensuring customer satisfaction. Need to screw into wall for security, light is annoying when I sleep because its next to my bed BUT good for trying to find the hole in the dark. Works amazingly, I will be purchasing more when I move for throughout the house. Love the phone charging dock, its perfect for when your in the kitchen doing dishesbor cooking and want to look at your phone or just get it out the way. its light plastic but if you screw it in its durable and will last you. Partially wish the prong was an actual prong not a plastic stability dummy prong. Its better for the electric flow and power surges. Just an opinion not a quotable statement

Amazing!

Love it! I really do adore this charger, and prefer it over the traditional strip charger, as it fits onto the wall and removes the annoyingly long cable out of the picture! It's especially great because this charger allows me to gather all of my devices in one place before I leave the house. The cell phone holder is a plus. It looks modern, its sleek, fits onto my wall perfectly and takes up no extra space! Highly recommended!

Great for charging all your gadgets at once

If you're like me, you have a ton of things to charge. Some USB cords don't come with the little cube that goes into the wall so you're taking it off of other cords and then you can't charge both at once. I use this right next to the vanity in my bedroom. I have a hair dryer plugged into the outlet part and I'm charging my phone, smart watch, and book reading light all at once. If you have a million things to charge but limited outlet space, this will be perfect for you! Also.. it comes with a screw so you can affix it to the wall. I personally didn't feel the need to use it. I just hold onto it while I'm pulling plugs out to keep it from coming out of the wall.

I also like the design that you can rest your phone on ...

It is such a space saver! Now I can plug in 4 different USB charging lines while still having three electric outlets available for other appliances. The adapter is very well designed, that the plastic prone will stabilize the adapter inserted into the standard wall outlets. I also like the design that you can rest your phone on the top of the adapter while charging. I use it for wrap the USB charging lines as well, when not charging anything, to keep it neat and organized. Will definitely recommend it to my friends!

Peace of mind!

Peace of mind! It works and charges fast, you get 4 USB ports to charge your cell phones and tablets. And most important. it's a surge protector. You don't need to worry about your cell phone getting burn burned by sudden changes of your electrical power lines, on top of it you get three surge protected power outlets as well.

Correcting my error (and changing my rating from one to five stars)

I wrote a negative review on this product and, after further testing, realized that it's NOT the POWRUI unit, it was the USB cord. But in a weird way. When I plugged a non-working iPhone charger cord into one of the USB ports, for some reason the OTHER THREE USB ports stopped working. When I used a working iPhone charger cord into one of the USB ports (and it worked), the other three ports still work! Lesson: Check your USB charger cord first!!! And check it again before writing an incorrect negative review! By the way, the reason I even rechecked the unit is because I got a very nice email from Vicky, a customer support person at POWRUI who wanted to replace my unit free of charge. I apologize to the folks at POWRUI with my previous inaccurate review. Since this unit DOES work (now after a year) and because of the incredible customer service they have, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND buying a POWRUI anything!

Terrific customer service!!

It was a mistake on my part not to open and try this product as soon as it arrived. This powri charger indicated that it was charging my iPhone upon initial use, but after five minutes, I checked and found that it was no longer charging. This was the case on all the other USB ports. I’m past the return window with Amazon. I had bought two of these and both are defective. Update on 01/01/19 After writing this review, Vicky at Powrui reached out and suggested the problem may be the lightning cable I was using. I explained that I had discarded the 2 units and was unable to retest w another cable. Nevertheless, Vicky sent one replacement unit to test and it performed perfectly. She then sent a second replacement which also worked with no issues. I won’t know if the original units were defective since I can’t retest them. However, I have only high praises for Powrui in resolving my purchase issues and guaranteeing my satisfaction. Thanks Vicky!! I

Great charging station!

This device takes over an entire 2 plug outlet and converts into a 3 plug outlet with 4 "smart" USB charging sockets. This will turn your rats-nest of chargers/wires into a more orderly rats-nest. So far, the charging performance of the USB sockets seems to be as advertised. The only negative is that it sticks our from the wall about 1 3/4" Thinner would be better.
