Works great

We use these as our door bell. We placed one on our drive to let us know when a vehicle pulls in and the other near the steps to the front porch. Both with different rings. They work as expected, detecting both vehicles as they pull in the drive and people as they approaches the front door. We did get one false alarm, but we were having 45 mph winds at that time. We live in the forest so we do get an occasional large animal triggering the drive alarm, but this was expected. The other day we had a flock of about 20 wild turkeys wandering around in front of the drive alarm … which kept going off continually for several minutes until the turkeys moved on.

Very sensitive. My dogs can set it off so aiming and sensitivity setting is important. Solar charge is great. Instructions are clear and readable. I sent an email to the provided asking for electronic copy of the instructions and received a reply within a couple hours with pdf attached. At this point I recommend.

I replaced a Chamberlain system that was more expensive, battery powered (not as convenient as solar powered) and had questionable build quality (internal component rust leading to failure within 4 months of operation). This system was a snap to install by simply following the instructions. I've only had it installed for a couple of months, but its worked flawlessly so far and outdoor portion shows no signs of wear. I've also been very impressed by the seller's willingness to provide support - if you check the questions/answers section on Amazon, all questions seem to be answered quickly and clearly. I've found all the answers I've needed right there. Finally, getting 2 sensors in the kit for the selling price seemed like quite a bargain. We'll see about long-term durability, but so far I'm very happy with the purchase.

Works well - love the songs

We use one at start of the drive and one about halfway down the drive with a different little song. That way it distinguishes between a raccoon playing around at the gate, or a car or person coming all the way down the drive. If we hear two songs, someone is here.

Great value

I waited a couple months or so to do a review. I’m very happy with this system. I have an 800 foot driveway that I mounted two sensors. The first alerts us to anyone entering our driveway that is not visible from our house and the second alerts us if a vehicle or person passes our barn in route to house. The system was easy to setup and it has continued to work well. Programing sensitivity and alert tones was a breeze. Great value for the money!

Make sure sensor doesn't see any plants within about 30 feet to avoid getting false alarms.

Now that I have it set up properly it works perfect. It's much better and is far more advanced than the Chamberlain system I have. The sun coming out from behind a cloud doesn't set it off, it will never need 9 volt batteries in the sensors, it doesn't have an antenna wire coming out of the housing through a hole that lets water in and is for some reason irrisistable to wire chewing squirrels, and each sensor can have its own distinct classic ringtone.

Sensor Sends Alert Every Time

I received my two sensors and one alarm about 2 weeks ago. I installed the first one with no issues. The second one was not working correctly. I contacted the support email that was included. They quickly resolved my issues. They do provide quite detailed instructions on the setup procedures. I installed one behind a bush as shown in pic. I know now when someone pulls into my driveway before they get to my door. People think its my camera but really its my sensor alarm that tells me. You can adjust the volume and change the ring tones very easily. So far these sensors work as advertised. I have a wide driveway and tested the 50 ft range and after some adjustments, it does in fact go up to 50 ft! This is the best security device that I have outside my home!

I am a recently widowed senior and live in the country. I live at a dead end. I had trouble with some kids and strange cars. I put 2 of these up. One tells me when someone comes down the road and one lets me know if someone is in driveway. Easy to install, choice of sounds great. Would highly recommend. Good price.

I liked the very clear and easy to read directions. They meaning two solar sending units were easy to program and mount . It’s been working fine from the start. In central California we get a lot of sun so solar is the only way to go.
