Just what I needed to replace a 60 years old bath fan mtr! Good deal too!

I swapped this motor's fan for the fan blade section of my old motor, and it works well.

It sucks all the steam and smells right out of your bathroom!!! My mirrors in my bathroom (about 65sqft) don’t even fog up after a nice hot shower and the AC on! Clears doors in minutes!! Even those White Castle / Taco Bell induced odors!!

The original bathroom fan was an odd size and there would have been a lot of extra work involved in the tear out and the installation of a complete new fan. This enabled us to repair the existing fan with no trouble at all. Thanks!!!

My bathroom fans 20yrs old, It died in me and gave it a best farewell party. My new part came and was happy to replace the motor and fan. All nice and clean. Con; while unscrewing the bolt on the new part by hand (not forced, I’m weak and can’t even open a bottle water) one of the screw broke in half, lucky me the other side still stuck out so I tried with a clamp and twisting it to get it out and that also broke easily Maybe I was unlucky or the bolt itself is not steel and probably made of Zinc (my guess) Pro; Fan and works great as expected. I’m a Fan and will buy this again if my other one breaks. it’s just a motor and fan does it’s job; if I wanted a quieter fan I probably buy the 160-250 US dollar bathroom fan with humidifier detection and lights. Wish you the best DIYers

Best $20 spent. Usually home depot , not right size issues. Fitted, real quiet, runs good. Might buy another one for other bathroom.

The motor finally went bad in the bathroom vent after 25 years. Of course, they don't make that vent assembly any more. Installing a new vent assembly would cost more and involve working in the hot attic and messing with electrical lines. This motor is identical to the one that went bad and comes with an electrical plug attached. Simple twenty-minute installation and we had a working fan again. Only a few simple tools were necessary.

TLDR: Good design, easy to work with. May or may not be a drop-in replacement, depending on your fan enclosure. For my bathroom fan enclosure, I had to reverse the shaft. The design of the motor is straightforward, and was relatively easy to disassemble and reassemble (with appropriate care). The cord was plenty long, but not too long to risk getting caught in the fan blade. For my fan enclosure, the plug was too high-profile, but a <$1 low-profile plug from a hardware store fixed that issue. I loved all of this tinkering. For a home project, this is a great product. Depending on how your fan enclosure is set up, it may or may not be a drop-in replacement.

I went looking for a replacement fan motor at Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Ace Hardware. They all sold the same motor that didn’t fit. I ordered this motor based off of its measurements and it is a perfect fit. It was a very simple install. I will be ordering 2 more for my other bathrooms.

My husband was not able to find one but I did. He couldn't put it up but I did.
