Technology is changing fast. A computer used to be as huge as a luggage, now it is as small as a chocolate bar which can be place in my pocket. I have to do presentation once in a while. I do quite a few of PP slides and Videos mostly. Normally i just show my colleagues my work with my laptop. However I think time is changing and I want give this little computer stick a try. Using the computer stick is a really interesting experience. This kind of product may not be perfect right now, but I think I will get more and more common with hardware or software improvement. Pro: -Size. Tiny. fit in any suitcase, bags and pocket -Pre-Installed MS Windows -No Junkware -4K HDMI output -Flawless Full HD video playback -Only 0.3a power requirement Con: -2GB memory limitation -Poor 4K video playback Conclusion: I did not include the poor multi tasking performance in the con section, since it is related to the lack of RAMs. And they had already listed the product as 2GB, and we should know it is not a powerhouse. However the Z8350 is relatively fast, it is quite responsive when the application is not memory intensive. I would recommend this Wintel Stick to people have their special purpose, ie., a basic Media client or for portable presentation backup. For daily computing I would say it is not a good fit.

I bought this computer in order to turn my tv to a computer. It works well. I can sit on my sofa and browse the internet now. I also bought a air mouse to go with it(I also bought from amazon, I will write a review for it too) ,which makes it even more easier to work on the computer. the computer stick setup was really easy with windows 10. I plugged it to power outlet, insert it to my tv and turned it on. All I need to do was to follow the setup instruction with Windows. There are two USB ports. I used one USB port for air mouse. I also inserted 64 GB memory card to save files. I really liked the idea to make a computer as a tiny stick. Extremely portable and easy to use: just plug it to a tv’s hdmi port.

I was looking for a low CPU machine where I could run Linux and some other software that would be deployed on the cloud. I needed the low powered CPU since the instance class I want to use on the cloud has very low CPU compared to the modern CPUs we are used to in the laptops. The product came with the exact specs as I ordered and everything worked smoothly. After booting into Windows, I could install the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and use Ubuntu to install all the other software that I want to run on the cloud. Everything worked perfect. I could also setup multiple user accounts. Ran Intel diagnostics test and the CPU temperature is well within the limits. The product comes with a HDMI dongle that is useful as it could be very crowded on the TV to directly attach it. I initially thought it is directly powered from the HDMI but it actually needs a separate power cord which is also included in the product. Perhaps to run the quad-core, the power from HDMI is not sufficient. The fan seems a bit noisy but again, for supporting the quad-core it may need the fan to run at high speed.

This mini-host is almost two months old. I have been using it to do simple things, such as watching YouTube, listening to music, and configuring the host computer. And don't think about playing games. If you use it in normal office, you can use it. Because I am also used to do homework, a screen with it, the desktop looks neat and tidy. There is no audio cable interface, I need to configure a usb audio cable. Other aspects are ok. Follow-up experience, computer configuration is really like, can be used for office, homework, but really do not use to play games, if you play games, will be stuck, and the general situation, watch movies, listen to music or quite , the price is cheap, it is suitable for buying back for the children to play, watching TV, system, windows 10, but I still like the window 7 system, used to the window 7, do not want to change other systems, and portable Sex, it is very small, and it is quite convenient if it is taken out. I have already given it to my son to play, and I have to play computer every day after school. If it suits you, buy one. Thanks

This mini pc has 4 cores, and each core has a speed of 1.44 gHz. It is preloaded with window 10 home edition. The mini PC runs smoothly and responds promptly. The Window OS occupies about 10 GB, and leaves you with 19 GB of space. That means you can not install too many big apps on it. However, it is understandable, as it is called, this is a mini pc. I tried to surf the web and watch online video. It is great. With 4 cores and 2 GB memory, it runs great. It is not like some other pc that would take seconds to respond to a simple command. You can use it with TV in you leaving room, and save yourself lots of space. I am going to use it to build a POS for my restaurant, where space is precious. If you need store a lot of data on it, you definitely need to buy a SD card. The mini pc's storage is limited.

My advice to future potential buyers... don't pay attention to reviews and titles like "know what you're getting into" because there are many people like these that don't understand how the technology and sales business works and do nothing to help anyone in making a smart decision. There is nothing wrong with this device. It is designed to do what is it intended to do: run windows PC software with limitations, in a portable fashion. The fact that it does run windows 10 with 4gb of ram indicates that you would have more options in installing and running reasonable software that you would run in your regular PC. It is disturbing when people mention "its horrible with gaming" and so on because if I wanted a gaming device I would spend the money to buy one like I did with an Asus ROG gaming laptop. But the imaturity of so many people would paint this wonderful product to be useless when it is not. I use this device to create my powerpoint presentations, Word documents, surf the web.

I do not have a desktop computer at home. Therefore, I needed this kind of small computer stick so that I can connect it to my smart tv and use it as desktop computer. Before ordering it, I was kind of not sure that it will work properly and effectively but when I try it I was surprised. It is like a full size desktop computer with windows 10, WiFi, even integrated Bluetooth. It even has a very tiny cooler fan in it. imagine how cool it is :) Ok it is not as fast as full desktop computer of course but believe me it is not slow. its speed is higher than my expectation. it is perfectly enough for regular work and even most of the games that do not require high graphic card. Overall, I am happy with it and I am thinking ordering again as a gift for my sister.

When you've been building PCs for over 25 years from the days of DOS 4 and Windows 3.0, you can really appreciate something like this; a complete mini-PC, and not much bigger than a Mounds bar. You will recognize that the pace of things has changed when you have to wait for things like web page loading, settings screens populating, and the sound of a system fan whirring. If you don't mind this, ACEPC has a budget minded NUC offering in a candy bar form factor that actually works like a PC should. For example, web throughput and USB 3.0 speeds are reasonably fast and graphics are understated, again, if you are comparing it to most desktop PCs built within the last 5 years. Instead, I'd compare it's procesing speed and response times to my 8GB Thinkpad x200s Core Duo laptop, running at 1.96Mhz from 2010 running Windows 10 Pro. Out of curiosity more than anything, I bought the 4GB/64GB Windows 10 Pro version. Originally, ACEPC had the same config in Windows 10 Home (both 64-bit OSs) but now only sell the more technically-capable Pro version. Although there isn't much difference in performance between Pro and Home, I did manage to disable more features (like Cortana's voice and the Aero settings) that chew up CPU idle time. I also found that the PC was more prone to thermal throttling and soft reboots under Home as well. The main purpose of this sort of PC is to use in hotel and presentation rooms, when you don't want to travel with a PC laptop or a Surface tablet. However, to make it work comfortably, you may need to carry a mini BT keyboard/mouse (or one the Logitech wireless Unified USB combos, like my K400+, which will access the BIOS level), where ever you can find an HDMI input on a screen (many hotel rooms have smart tvs which are set with some weird "hospitality setting" and they sometimes shut down these ports or prevent you from accessing them from the rear panel). Because of this, your mileage may vary, esp. if you only carry this device expecting to be immediately productive. You will find the effort worthwhile, though, if you really don't want to travel with a luggable. I have heard that Ubuntu Linux as well as other 64-bit Linux OS's will run on this, but again, YMMV, esp. when it comes to drivers and stable platform builds. For $150, you can play around all you like as long as you can get the factory OS build loaded on the micro SD card (I recommend you max it out at 128 GB) as well as your other app installers, like Libre Office and Steam. I played a couple of low fi Steam games at lower resolution and it's passable, and far from an amazing graphics experience. The BIOS is a typical UEMI AMI Megatrends layout with all of the usual suspects settings. There is more emphasis on thermal settings and trusted platform compatibility, but no way that I have found to cycle/shutdown the fan, which runs constantly. Oddly enough, there is no way to backup the BIOS or restore to factory BIOS, so if you are trying to flash away your instability issues. From my personal experience, ACEPC is responsive and friendly and respond quickly through the Amazon Message Center. There is also the ACEPC support website but I don't recommend searching for drivers, factory OS builds or BIOS images there. Instead, when you reach them through AMC, they will direct you to a different Dropbox page for things like the factory OS build for the T5/T8. I know that one day we'll look back at the ACEPC T5 and say, remember when a PC looked like a candy bar, the way we look at rotary phones and cellphone suitcases. For now, though, the technology is pretty cool.

Got this pocket pc for a week ago, and i use it every day, it works great. i bought this to replace my old laptop which was a decade ago. For the price and considering the features and speed, and the fact that WIndows 10 is included, it can't be beat for value. Combined it with a cheap Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo and had it up and running very quickly. the Inadequacies of this pocket pc is NOT quality, actually the quality pretty good. but WIFI, the pocket pc only connect 2.4 ghz, that same as all pocket pc does too, too figure out WIFI 5G connection, i tried usb 5G wifi adaptor, and it works, plug n play, no software need to install. overall, this pocket pc is great, especially for sufring website, typing, reviewing document, store photos and watching movie online(of course 5G WIFI connection better).

For less than 200 Dallas I made a purchase to try it out! When I received I couldn’t believe how small it is. As soon as I got it, I connect with my television. Use my wireless mouse to play around. Wow, started so fast. Working so smooth and very little noise. But so adorable. Now it is like my new toy. I use it for shopping, watching movies, playing games. It is small but powerful and portable. Sometimes I carry it to my parents house to do my own thing! This is my first mini pc. It is really impressive! Excellent size pc for anyone who travels, can easily fit in your purse or carry on bag on trips. Could use as a primary PC or a back up drive to any computer. Perfect for just about any computer needs. So glad I decided to buy. Very fast and easy to use. Just remember you will need a keyboard or a mouse of some kind. Recommended
