Unique designs and functional boots!

These boots have been great. They run true to size (I measured my 19 month old daughter's shoes and used the size chart to decide on the 6T size, which fit perfectly) and have held up well over many uses with no noticeable wear and tear. They are easy to get on and off, seem comfortable, and my daughter has loved wearing them (so much that she sometimes wears them even if it's not a rainy day). I ordered the mermaid design which doesn't seem to be available anymore, but all of the designs are very creative and colorful. She was the only one in her daycare class with these boots!

Great gift idea! Highly recommend!

I ordered these adorable little rain boots in the Space Cat and Dinosaur prints as a gift for my neice and nephew. They arrived quickly and are even cuter in person than they look on Amazon. So far they’ve proven to be durable and waterproof, and the kids say they’re really comfortable. We found the sizing chart to be true to fit. The rubber seems to be high quality and the design is very well thought out. The grab handles and deep tread are nice touches. I’ve bought similar rain boots from Western Chief in the past, and I have to say Lone Cone’s version is definitely the best quality for the price. The only issue I had was deciding which patterns to buy! I love that their designs are unique and can’t be found in every store. The patterns were a unique design but still appeal to their interests.. I’ll be checking out Lone Cone’s products again next time I need to buy a child’s gift.

Surprisingly well made

I needed a pair of rain boots for my almost-two-year-old daughter who loves to splash in puddles. This item was one of the first results, and it had a lot of options so I let Baby pick one out. She very much enjoyed looking at all of the different pictures and finally saying "I choose...butterflies!" When the boots came, she was so excited to try them on. She kept saying "So pretty butterflies. Baby likes it." They fit as expected based on the company's size chart (NOT the standard Amazon size chart). The thing I was really impressed with is the build quality. This is a small company making the boots, but they feel very well made, like what you would expect from a large, experienced manufacturer. Both the soles and the uppers are thick rubber, with the soles having very grippy tread. I can tell these boots are going to last for quite a long time--or at least until Baby decides she doesn't like butterflies anymore.

I love them. I was worried that they would be too heavy or bulky for my little one as these are her first rain boots. But she's a fast learner and can now walk in them like a champ after a few wears. They are not bad for walking at all. And I just love the handles. I'll ask her to get them and she just picks them up and brings them to me with no problem. We put them on and off we go. They are fun and adorable. I will say the picture makes the soles look more green teal than blue teal (which is what I wanted) but I'm okay with the lighter color. It's not too off. Looking forward to splashing in many puddles with my little one. Would buy again and would recommend. PS I purchased a 6 for my size 6 child and they fit well with a little room for growth. I think we could probably fit them with boot socks/liners and they'd be snug but not too small.

Better than grocery bags

Bought these as winter boots for my now 12 month old son. Will be rain boots later on. Bought one size too big on purpose because he is not consistently walking yet so I can slide these on over his doubled up smart wool socks and snowpant cuffs help keep boot in place when mainly he is sitting in his car seat, his sled in our yard, or a shopping cart. Winter just started. By the time spring is here these should fit him properly and he will likely be walking alot. That's the plan, anyway. Will try to update this review spring '17. The graffix are what drew me in:very cute for boy but could also be for girl. Different than what else is out there and great quality and price. Before buying these I was putting plastic grocery bags over his sneakers and securing with industrial rubber bands. Totally worked for him just crawling in our yard "chasing" the dog, but not very stylish! These cute boots are much better!

Update 6/27/18: after my son wearing these almost daily for 8 months, it’s time to replace them. He typically tears up a pair of shoes in 2 months, so I think these are great. I’m ordering a larger pair right now! Update 2/1/18: we’ve been using this consistently for 4 months and they are still in great shape. Yes, they show wear, but no signs of breakdown. I will keep buying this brand!! These boots are great! The pull handles a a MUST for toddler feet. I have 2 other pairs without handles and they are a horrible hassle to get on him. These are flexible, so he doesn’t have trouble walking too. My son wears a 4 and I got the 5 so he’d be able to wear them longer. I’d recommend these and I will be buying them again in a bigger size.

Easy for kids to put on and take off.

Well made rainboots that are easy for kids to get on and take off by themselves. We previously ordered a pair of Croc rainboots and disliked how tight the shaft was - our kid hated trying them on. These rainboots are roomy (we order their actual size and find these to be a little large, providing perfect room for growth). I appreciate the gender neutral designs as my son will grow into my daughters boots in the coming years.

initially got these for my sons fire man Halloween costume however, these actually ended up being used daily most of the time just because my son loves them so much. It's been 6 months and they are still in perfect condition (i order a size bigger for rain boots just because the it's cold we use thick socks).
