Works great for a shop light!

previous shop owners had regular screw in lights in the shop. we tried brighter bulbs but the shop was still dimly lit. we were getting ready to shell out big $$$ on wiring in new commercial lights and decided to try these on a whim. they screwed right in, no modification necessary. unbelievable how well these work, they offer true commercial performance in a standard household light socket. 80w fixture for the win - great buy. would have even paid double knowing what i know now.

Great for shop or garage!

These put out extremely white light and are perfect for a shop or garage environment. The light output is somewhat harsh for a "living" space, but that's just my opinion. Although these are a bit more expensive as opposed to a 4' fixture, I liked the fact I could just screw them into the existing socket and not have to spend time hanging new fixtures. I bought two initially just to try them out, but will be buying more to complete my shop.

These lights make a huge difference!

I replaced two standard LED lights in my two car garage with two of these lights and the difference is night and day. I love how you can aim each of the 3 leafs to cast light throughout the entire garage. These were also way cheaper than many of the other lights like it. Worth every penny.

Very bright!!

Love this product. It’s saved me having to hang new garage lights. This is simply plug & play & my garage is bright as day anytime I turn these leds on. Had them for about 2 months & no problems. Recommend them!

Brilliant lighting solution

No wiring effort needed! Remove the incandescent light bulb. Twist in this LED apparatus, VOILA!, brilliant lighting is yours. I have two in my garage, although one would suffice for general illumination, I enjoy being able to direct the light in the direction I need it the most.

Workshop light

I retired my workshop and wanted to replace the old flourescent fittings which were unreliable. Whilst I waited for delivery I used a standard 75w bulb in the screw fitting which was very dull. On arrival I simply screwed in this fixture and “bang” superb extremely bright light. I did wonder if I needed 2 of these but no way, these are superb. Ideal for my use so highly recommended Update - I've used this light for a couple of months now and am blown away with the light quality - I've shown it to a couple of people who immediately placed orders and are just as pleased

Brightest LED Garage light

I had only one socket with an 600 lumen LED light bulb for the garage which looked like a night light when it was on. I looked online for the brightest light that could fit in the light bulb socket and this was for sure the one i wanted. After installing it was a night and day difference. I can see clearly again and not have to stumble around looking for things. Only cons i can find is the price, if it was cheaper i would certainly buy more of it. But as of now i bought two and its been working great for me.

Holy crap this is bright!!!

Just what I was looking for! I purchased 4x led workshop lights (6000 lumens, 40w) from Costco and they didn't even come close to the brightness of my GE Refresh LED bulbs (800 lumens, 60w) so I returned them promptly to find something brighter. I decided to give these lights a try and I am not disappointed! They're very bright and it lights up my entire garage. The motion sensor function works very well but I won't be using it since it shuts after a few moments if you're stationary (i.e. underneath a car). I hope it lasts a long time but my initial impressions are very positive with strong build quality and lighting capabilities. I did not know I could get this kind of brightness out of a light bulb socket.

Good GOD this light is incredible!

I have a standard 2 car garage. I built some hanging shelves and a work bench but the single bulb light fixture didn't offer any needed lighting. I toyed with the idea of running the wires down to install a different fixture but wanted to try this little gem out before getting into a bigger project than needed. It far exceeds expectations. I kept the 'flaps' of the light pointed up as high as I could. If you have a higher clearance ceiling I'm 110% sure this would still be like someone shining high beams from your ceiling. BUY THIS bulb replacement and you won't be disappointed.
