  • 【Functional Govee APP】Govee Home is a smart functional APP with low-battery alarm, easy setting and data sharing(LOG IN SAME ACCOUNT). When the battery is ready to run out, the APP will alarm to remind you replace the battery. Besides, you can switch the temp unit °F/°C , calibrate and pre-set the alarm value through your fingers on the APP.

I really like these govee temperature / humidity sensors. They work great and it's nice to be able to monitor my house from anywhere (like work!). The original one that came had a problem with one of the sensors. It was sending data "here and there". I contacted support and they were quick to replace the entire unit! I also have one of the indoor ones in one of my bedrooms. It works great also and I intend to put more around the house. I've tried a number of temperature / humidity sensors and I like these govee ones the best. - Ron Donofero

Ordered this morning. Received and set it up this evening. It took a minute to find the device in the Govee app listing -- they have a lot of devices. The hub connected easily. The two sensors were found immediately. The readings look accurate -- although my need for precision in these readings is low. Getting ready to leave on a trip and want to see how the wine room temp is holding. Will update if there are issues.

Not much to say about these temperature sensors besides the fact they just work! The Govee app worked well once I had replaced the included AAA batteries with my own. Before that, the Govee App would constantly break and not sure the temperature. One small annoyance is the included Mounting hole. The hole itself is great, however, there is no included mounting hardware, so you are left to guess. I personally used a 4D 1.5 in the nail for mine, however, your mileage may vary. Not enough to knock off a star, it would just be nice to have some included mounting hardware.

I've tested this for about 1 day, and it seems pretty good so far. Overall the sensors look good, and feel fairly robust. That being said, they are meant to just sit on the wall so who knows how much of a beating they can take. I selected this option for a smart home temperature sensor because of the competitive price compared to other options that allow remote temperature monitoring like "Temp Stick" or "Sensor Push". I like that there are two sensors so I can have one upstairs and one down, and the range for the wifi base station seems fairly good. I was able to take the sensors out of range by taking it outside and behind several walls and cinder blocks, but they were able to transmit through a couple of the Sheetrock walls and a wood floor in my house just fine. There isn't that much documentation online, but it seems like the company is still developing their website, so maybe there is more to come. As far as I can see the only way to access the sensors currently is through the app (using the ios app). It would be a good feature to add browser support. I also tested the alert system, and tried disconnecting the wifi base station. I received app notifications from both a temperature out of range alert, and a wifi disconnect alert, so that feature does work. The one thing I would really be looking for is the ability to get the alerts as sms messages, or emails in addition to the app. Maybe they will add this feature in the future. Having used a "Temp Stick" before, these seem to compare favorably. They update much more frequently, are half the price, include two sensors (vs. 1), and look a little nicer, though they are slightly larger. The sms alerts feature is the main advantage to the temp stick as far as I can tell. Time will tell if they hold up.

I keep on on the port where my dog spends the day and one outside in the back yard. I can check on my dog and make sure she is not to hot or cold and I can check the outside temp while laying in bed before I get up to decide what I want to wear and plan my day.

I've got a very old system in my apartment that is honestly quite hard to use and energy inefficient. However, once I installed this, I've been able to keep much better monitor of the temperature and adjust my AC/heating accordingly. In fact, it's probably already saved me money

These thermometers are a great value when you consider how easy they are to set up. If you follow the directions, they're a snap to install. Also, you can set notifications to see when they're out of temperature range or out of wireless range. Overall a great buy!

This is a very cool and helpful tool to keep track of the different temperature's around the building you had place each other the 2 sensors. Each of the 2 sensors provide helpful and useful knowledge on the humidity and more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, if the price was just a bit lower.
