My battery seemed to run down quickly. But I didn’t exactly time it. Had some big projects.

I have these rediculous hedges that grow way too fast. Using this trimmer was great. This is the best trimmer I have owned. Cordless is the way to go. The trimmer itself seems to be very well made. The balance tips the blades slightly upward with the battery installed. I am 50ish and It is easy for me to use. I like how the safety on switch works. There is a blade sleeve and a hook on the bottom if you need to attach it to a strap. The blades are really nice and sharp.

If you have a large yard or area you want to keep looking good, then you want this! It's quite large and it also works well on keeping hedges cut back. It really does even off the tops of a hedge with one smooth motion. It is easy for all to use including beginners and it comes with safety features and a warranty. You can also count on good customer service if you have any questions.

Very easy to use, just what I wanted! Light weight enough for me to get things trimmed up.

First, not going to lie, I was (1) dubious that a battery powered trimmer would do a good job (2) kinda scared of using it for safety, but... It's very easy! And does a great job. Our bushes go through insane growth spurts and, living in the desert, basically everything has thornes, so anything manual is going to result in you getting pricked. The battery life was great! It was strong and able to cut through all branches I wanted to (probably up to dime sized diameter) without any issue and without feeling at all unwieldy. It's very well balanced and I didn't feel at all like I was struggling or having to put it at angles that felt unsafe. Very, very easy to control it's on and off. I wouldn't let a child use it, but I had no qualms using it myself. Would highly recommend eye protection however. Glad I was wearing some (as instructed in the decent instructions btw). After the job, barely needed cleaning other than just wiping it. Great little tool! No need to fear, but makes the job so much easier!

This is a very powerful hedge trimmer that makes short work of trimming bushes. What I especially like is that it's cordless so you don't have to worry with a cord getting in your way or finding an outlet. It's easy to use and easy to charge. Now it won't trim the bushes and pick up the trimming on it's own but for do it yourself it's a sweet tool. The bright red color is very nice also!

My last trimmer came to it's untimely death when I was cutting like crazy and cut right through the cord. A few sparks flew out and I was done with the job mostly unfinished. It's actually very easy to cut through a trimmer's cord I had discovered, so I jumped at the chance to try a cordless. This one has plenty of power for hedges, and I love that if there's a branch that is too thick, you can use the little saw on it to cut through it. It cuts boxwoods and holly bushes like a champ. It has plenty of power, and I've used it for about 45 minutes with it chugging along just fine. It seems to work about as long as I do. I like that it is the same battery that runs my Craftsman yardblower too. It has a safety on the trigger and there's a bar for holding it safely. It has a sheath for storage too. I feel like it's got good safety features. I really like that it doesn't stink of gas exhaust and I don't have to worry about electrocuting myself or starting a fire if I cut another cord.

I've owned quite a few of these over the years ranging from a small corded black and decker to gas powered versions and several battery powered types from other brand names. This beats them all. First, it's huge. We live in Florida and have large hedge privacy fence that grows quickly and easily puts out woody shoots. This handles with ease and can tackle the entire top in a single sweet which saves time and assures a more uniform appearance. Next, it's a battery but unlike other brands (B&D for instance) it doesn't wimp out. Easy operation, intuitive design with safety features rounds it out. Impressive unit and very pleased!

This is my first Craftsman hedger. I have a lot of boundary line hedges to maintain. My others ( Ryobi, Black and Decker) do a fine job on small leafy growth but choke on any woody branches. This cut through 1/2” wood without any problems. Very fast and clean on soft hedge growth like forsythia. Nice ergonomically friendly grips. Rechargeable battery ( faster than most) charger and blade sheath. Very impressive. I am not terribly gifted especially in upper body strength; this was very easy to use, even overhead.

I got this to do routine maintenance of the shrubs, branches, bushes, etc. around our properties. It has a powerful motor and has been able to cut through larger 1/2" to 3/4" branches. Good quality, sharp blades on it. Battery charges in about an hour and has a charge status that shows how much battery life is remaining. Blade has a saw feature for stubborn items. It includes a sheath/cover to protect the blade from damage. The trimmer has a built in hanging clip/bracket that flips out for storage. Came with one battery, a charger and instructions.
