I got this seat to fit on a very short, round, standard(I think)toilet. Its for my 85yr old Dad who just got out of hospital/rehab after a heart attack and complications. This seat has been a lifesaver as he is still kind of weak, unbalanced and tires easily. For 2 days he struggled getting on and off toilet, even with his walker and me helping him. Finally got the seat, clamped it on in like 2 minutes, and he popped off that seat like a jack in the box!One less struggle for him and worry for me.As for the seat,it adds perfect height for him being 5'10",and it's ok for me at 5'7".Shorter folks may find it uncomfortable. The seat is hard but hollow plastic and is fairly comfortable but I don't think one would want to spend serious time on it.It feels to me like it dips a little, side to side, when you move on it but the seat itself is not sliding on the bowl.It seems very safe and sturdy. The instructions say to NOT over tighten the clamps I think is the most important thing,as the clamps are plastic, too tight could snap them and you're on the floor. One other thing-because of the height of the seat you have a deeper yet narrower opening than a normal seat,so if you have a larger butt and heavy legs(that would be me)certain toilet things a little....trickier.But certainly doable. Not a problem for my thin Dad.The seat cleans up nice,it has a lid so you can cover to look nice or deter thirsty pets, and the seat is so snug on the bowl that I have not seen one drop of pee on the bowl or floor. We've had this only 5 days but clamps still seem good and the seat is not dipping anymore than day 1.I will update this if something changes but honestly if we get at least 6 months out of this for the price we paid,I will be happy with that. And order another.

I purchased this for my elderly mom for when she visits. We have what's considered "standard" toilets in our bathrooms so they are a little low for her arthritic knees. We've been through a few risers that either shift around too much or are way too high but this one she said is perfect! It's not super high, and has an indent in the front that allows for "wiping room" as she puts it. It's also easy to clean and can quickly be removed if someone else needs to use her bathroom. the knobs on the sides that adjust the tension are sturdy and easy to operate.

After back surgery we needed a riser for our 1980s era round toilet. Once I removed the conventional seat this device fit perfectly and has securely remained in place over the last several weeks. What may go unnoticed but not unappreciated is that there is a slight depression at the rear of the seat. This allows a patient assistant access to help keep clean an area that the patient themselves cannot reach.

We are fairly young , so we think , 66; active..maybe too much so. But my husband had an acute onset of back lumbar disc herniation which caused pain in seating and bending, all of which you need to get on and off the” “throne”. Did a quick review of choices; we knew we did not want to keep the current toilet seat and cover, so we purchased this one piece elevated seat, There were not many that included a seat and cover ( I suggest, because it looks like it goes with the toilet and not just an “add on”. Delivered in 2 days, install in 5 minutes. Taking the old seat off took longer. My husband is 6’2 and weighs 195...no problems with moving, tight and secure. Good price

I was worried how this would work for my 85 yr old grandmother. She tends to swivel around like it's an office chair, retrieving the things she needs. She's slowly broken a few regular seats. Now it's been over a month and this raised toilet seat is working great. Not one problem. I clean it daily and take it off weekly to get the bottom(must do this, it gets gross).

Bought for a older friend, who has a small low to the ground round toilet, installed in about 22 seconds, in fact it took longer to open up the box and remove from plastic, then to install, exactly what was described in the advertisement, very durable, easy to remove and clean 100% perfectly happy greggace

This is the best seat for height, comfort, cleaning and installing. I am 5’1” and had purchased a different seat several years ago, it worked but was too high. This one is a little slanted, has a great cover, easy access for wiping 😉, is easy to install, therefore easy to remove and clean; has a shiny finish, not dull. I would definitely purchase this one again, if need be, but I doubt I will have to. I have a knee and both hips replaced so finding something that works this well is wonderful.l

I AM A SENIOR LIVING IN AN APARTMENT RENTAL AND WAS HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING UP FROM MY 15" HIGH TOILET. THIS WAS THE PERFECT SOLUTION. IT WAS SO EASY TO INSTALL AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO REMOVE THE APT'S TOILET SEAT. IT'S EASY TO REMOVE FOR CLEANING AND EASY TO CLEAN. IT'S VERY SECURE AND HAS IMPROVED MY QUALITY IF LIFE IMMENSELY. IT'S LIGHTWEIGHT BUT NOT FLIMSY.

Great products is what it is as far as the safety feature they toilet seat can come off or move given the right amount of force but as far as what you're going to use it for this is a great product and definitely recommend it it has saved me a lot of pain

I can’t say enough about this wonderful solution for weak knees. It is so easy to install and feels very sturdy underneath you. Having a lid was critical for us for sanitary reasons. We just wish we had bought it years ago.
