Best Stone Set I Have In 20 Years
In 20 plus years as a chef I have owned and used countless sharpening stone sets. This one is by far the nicest set.. not only to look at, but the feel of the materials, the stand that holds the stones is gorgeous, the stones are nice and WIDE which is better for more even sharpening and faster sharpening. Plus the addition of the rust/stain remover is a really nice bonus. Add all that into the price (WAY Better than most single stones even) and you cannot go wrong with this set. I will be buying a couple of chefs this set for upcoming gift ideas.

Large for fast sharpening.
This stone set is great for a fast sharpening session. The width and length cover more surface. The pedestal is a nice bonus.

Beautiful set if stones
Great set of sharpening stones, beautiful packaging and I love that they include a nonslip wooden base. Also included are a rust remover and a flattening stone.

Large surface area and nonslip base make for easy sharpening.
These stones are very nice, they are 8-3/4” long and 3-1/2” wide giving them a lot of surface area making easier to sharpen knifes and keep the angle consistent. They also have the right feel, sometimes you’ll get a stone and it just feels wrong, maybe it’s too porous or feels too light, these stones don’t feel that way, they are nice and heavy and have a nice high tone when you hold them up and ring them, that’s important because of a stone won’t ring, it means its cracked. The base is also really nice, gets the stones up a little higher so you’re not hitting your knuckles on the table. I tried out the stones as soon as I could after I got them, and I would definitely recommend them to anybody with knives to sharpen.
