No more dollar-store dishpans for me!
This is a really handy addition to your home. It's great for anything that you could use a small sink or tub for, from washing dishes to hand-washing clothing. (You could also use it for pedicures, but I wouldn't want to soak my feet in something I'm going to do my dishes in.) The size and convenient carrying handles also make it a handy vehicle for transporting small items from one place to another. Want to make sandwiches or snacks in the office? Open the fridge, toss the stuff in the tub, and take it with you! There are two things that set this tub apart from other similar products for me: the drain and the handles. You can leave the drain closed, or twist it so that the water (or liquid) drains away and any solids (like food crumbs) remain behind. That's a big help. The tub is made of durable plastic and comes in attractive colors. I have no doubt it will hold up for some time. The only thing that keeps me from being absolutely evangelical about this product is that the water does not completely drain out of the tub when you open the drain. A small amount, maybe a tablespoon or so, of liquid remains. This is easily dried out and would probably evaporate on its own fairly quickly, but making the interior angle that slopes toward the drain just slightly different might have remedied that. Still, it's a very minor quibble about an otherwise outstanding product. I paid full price for this product and I think it's a good value for the money. It's a little more expensive than your standard dollar-store dish pan, but it's much more sturdy, much easier to empty, the handles are very helpful, and it will last longer, making it worth the difference.

Finally someone thought this through!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product!!!!
I have a large farm sink and it is very impracticable to fill it with water every time you want to wash dishes. I have used a ton of different types of tubs in the sink and have not really been happy with any of them. My biggest complaints, prior, have been that you almost always have to spray the tub off and out, dry it and have someplace to store it between uses because it gets all gunked up on the bottom if you don't. I am the type that likes to have a hot tub of soapy water at the ready any time I am in the kitchen working. This product let's me do that, neatly and cleanly. I don't have to try and store it, constantly getting it in and out of the cabinet. It looks so very nice in the sink. Easy to keep clean and no gunky build up under it. I will definitely be keeping one of these on hand!!!

This is the coolest thing!
This is just the coolest thing! Got it to replace a worn out basin. This is a little smaller than the other one I had, but fits nicely in one of my double sink sides. The drain works very well and actually keeps the water in until you let it out, unlike the rubber stopper the old basin had. Have a dishwasher, so just use this for things that can't go in there which is perfect. Also used it to hand wash my hose. You can carry it around if need be as it has nice handles. Could use it to soak you feet. This also has feet which keep it firmly in place in the sink and allows it to drain quickly. Good design and functionality. It is not big enough to submerge a full size plate, but you can still get the plate in there and clean it if need be - just can't soak it.

So nice, so nice, so nice. Actually fully and completely drains.
This nifty thing turned out to be perfect for me. I've tried using bins in the sink before, but you have to pick them up to pour the water out. Often I rinse or soak things before I put them in the dishwasher, and this lovely thing means I can do that without tying up an entire sink. And one of the reasons I bought it is because if I have dishes I need to stack in the sink until I can unload the dishwasher, I don't have to worry about them falling over or banging against the porcelain and breaking. This bin is kind and gentle on my stuff but SO easy to empty and refill. It really really really does drain completely when I loosen the bottom or take the stopper out altogether, and I can turn around and rinse in it. So nice. So nice. So wish I'd known about it before.

Perfect for my small square sink!
i don't have much counter space a I love being able to pull the bucket out to use both sinks at a moments notice. It fits a whole sink load of dishes - all the dishes my family of 4 goes through during the daytime. No more cluttered counter!!!

Great for Washing Greens, Veggies & Fruit!
I have many Joseph Joseph items and this is the most useful and versatile design that they've come up with so far. I have a double sink and don't really need another sink/dish tub. I bought this to wash my greens, veggies and fruits in so I don't have to wash them in the sink where I use liquid dish washing detergent. I make smoothies and juices every day so I always wash, rinse and dry my ingredients before refrigeration. I use Veggie Wash, also purchased from Amazon, and this tub is perfect for my needs. I just put my produce in the tub, spray them with Veggie Wash, add some water, let them soak for a minute then use the plug in the bottom of the tub to drain away the Veggie Wash, water and all dirt, wax and everything else that needs to be cleaned off produce. Then I keep the drain open and rinse the produce with plain water. This is really a time saver! Highly Recommended!!

Saves a lot of water!
This tub is absolutely perfect to save water. Because our garbage disposal is located where we'd normally wash dishes, we were wasting a lot of water by washing each dish under running water -- instead of filling up our very small right-hand sink tub. (The left-hand sink is larger, but we use that to drain dishes.) VERY small kitchen! We needed something to hold water, yet allowing us to dump stuff into garbage disposal. This tub gave us just enough space to do that. Sometimes, when needed, the sturdy handles allowed us to lift it -- water, dishes and all -- to the counter while we dumped lots of garbage. I bought a 2nd one -- a great foot bath to save water. I sit on side of tub, put a small shower mat under it to keep from siding in the bath tub. Now I can easily wash my feet in this small tub without having to fill up a tub when not bathing. I was surprised and very pleased to find that washing our 12" T-fal frying pan was a cinch. The depth of the tub allowed lots of dinner plates, bowls, etc. to soak at once. The frosting on the cake is the well-built drain on the bottom. SO much better than the dish tubs you find at stores -- no handles, too shallow and no drain. (My son saw me washing dishes in it and asked where I'd bought it -- now he wants one for his house.)

Why did it take me so long to buy????
I really do not know how I was operating without this tool. I grew up with a double sink. My apartments in my 20s had double sinks. My two houses had double sinks--and the second house had a laundry tub in the kitchen where I could wash all the big pots without a problem. Then I moved to this apartment that had one large sink. This "Wash and Drain" means I have, in essence" A double sink again A place to drape my dish cloth to dry A "moveable sink--I can move it up onto the counter, slide it to the right side of the sink, the left side, or in the middle or No sink! It's easy to hide away Terrific!

... ours with the wash and drain dish tub who recommended it I thought it was worth ordering
Having seen fellow camping friends of ours with the wash and drain dish tub who recommended it I thought it was worth ordering. We have a travel trailer with a double fiberglass sink. This little tub fits great in the larger side and certainly conserves on the amount of water needed. The drain is a bonus too. I recommend it to anyone who camps whether it be in a tent or RV.

Wet/Dry
Nice, small, and compact. I don't have the biggest sink and further more I don't have to worry about water escaping from rubber plunges!
