PhotoSpring delivers the ultimate digital photo frame! Having the ability to capture life’s moments as they happen and share those pictures wirelessly and instantly to our personal PhotoSpring frame or to the 2 other devices we purchased for Grandparents is priceless. I absolutely love that I can capture a moment and within minutes upload that picture to my parents PhotoSpring three states away. My parents feel like they never miss a precious moment with their grandchildren. Thank you PhotoSpring for bringing our family together to share life’s precious moments and enjoy them as they are beautifully displayed.

This is my 2nd Photospring device and it's perfect. The thing that separates this device from others is it lets you share your photos with family and friends. So my grandparents can just put this somewhere and photos of all their kids and grandchildren will stream for them. I can control what pictures others see. For example, my friends will see different pictures than my grandparents will. Friends will see me on a night out at a bar but my grandparents only see pictures of my kids and other wholesome things. Construction is sturdy. It's easy to use and, most important of all, I can just set it up for my parents and they don't have to do anything but remember to either keep it plugged in or charge it when it runs out of battery. They love it and I don't have to constantly email them photos of the kids, etc. Great digital photo frame!

The frame looks great. You can adjust the brightness. You can set schedules for when you want it to run. Touch screen is responsive, which was important to me. Easy to upload from: **phone (android or iphone). App is free. Its easy, choose the photos you want to upload. Next it will ask which frame (in case you have more than one). Easy. **PC- you log in and then upload all your photos. Easy! You can invite friends and family to upload photos too! Makes it easy for the grandparents!

I purchased this frame from Amazon and was pleasantly surprised on how soon I received it (3 days). I opened the box to find a very pleasing white frame with a ten inch screen. It comes with a stand for portrait or landscape viewing and a power cord. It will also run on battery power but I only use the power cord so I don't know battery life. The only instructions are a three step initial power up card. Due to my age (85) I am hesitant about initial startup as it seems I always screw something up during the fairly complicated (for me) setup done online after the initial startup so I went to the PhotoSpring support website with some questions. In less than one hour I received a reply and over the next day or so, all my questions were answered. In fact I received a phone call from Photo Spring tech support to make sure I was up and running and if I had any further questions. My wife and I love the frame and the extensive menu for picture viewing it provides (and she's not easy to please). I was informed by tech support that upgrading to more functions is constant and ongoing. I offered a few suggestions like having the option of a small calendar on screen like some other photo frames. This frame is on the upper price range but well worth it! And I can't say enough about the tech support I received.

I've accumulated photos and videos across multiple accounts, cameras, and phones. And I never look at them. This photo frame is a great way to dig up old memories and display them. Easy interface and looks great. And for my technophobe parents it's a nice way to push photos to their frame without them having to fiddle with apps or logins!

Amazing Picture frame! I got one frame for our family, and one for my parents (the grandparents). Since they live in another state, we were excited about having a simple way to share pictures with them—they love pictures of the grand-kids. I’ve been using the frame for about a month now, and have been impressed with how smoothly it works. My previous digital picture frame still has the original batch of pictures I uploaded when I first got it. It was such a pain to update and change pictures, like many of the other digital frames. We take so many pictures, I wanted a simple way to add and change and modify them and keep them updated. I also was looking for something simple enough for my parents, who are intimidated by electronics, to be able to use. A friend recommended PhotoSpring, and I compared it to Nix and the others with WiFi and the ability to send pictures directly from your smart phone. PhotoSpring had the features I was looking for, and the easiest to use. Pros: Has a touch screen interface— It works basically like an iPad. This is a must, especially for the grandparents. No need to find the remote to use it. Intuitive interface, with touch controls. This makes it easy to manage the pictures. Removing pictures you don’t want is as simple as a tap rather than going though an app or menu system like the competitors. You can select different playlists to play alternate sets of photos as well. This device has excellent screen resolution and clarity, and convenient size. Easy to set up— Instead of having to read a manual, or get referred to a web site to figure out how to use it like other frames in this class, PhotoSpring comes with a built in slide show with instructions that you can swipe through (and swipe back and fourth to review if you like) that shows you how to use it. I do recommend going through the slide show before setting it up. I go back to it every now and then and have picked up more features I had over looked initially. Smart Phone compatible—There’s a simple app to manage the frame and add pictures (as well as through the website). Through the app you can also select to have all the pictures taken from your phone automatically sent to the frame if you chose. It’s easy to hide the ones you don’t want to show by tapping on the picture and tapping the hide icon. Or use the 4 finger swipe gesture. You can manage multiple frames, and share photos through the app as well. Photo Sharing – You can send invites to friends and family to send pictures to your frame. Through the smartphone app, website or frame itself, you can send a code which links the app to your frame. Once frames are linked to your app, you can choose which frames you would like to send pictures too. (You can also manage several frames if you have multiple in your own house.) Friends and family can then send photos directly to your frame. The grandparents love this feature. My mom often calls to comment when new pictures pop up on her frame. Video—Video works as easily as the pictures. It has built in speakers and you can adjust the audio volume. Sturdy charging cradle/stand completely hidden behind frame, and it’s battery powered as well. You can pick it up and use it like a tablet without cords to unplug or plug back in. There is also a sleep schedule function for hours it does not need to be on. Cons: The app only has small thumbnails of the pictures to select and send to the frame – can be hard to see detail especially when you take several of the same shot. However, I found with the iPhone app installed, I can send pictures them directly through the iPhone camera roll. Just select the picture on camera roll then tap on the share/export icon (the one with the square and up arrow on the bottom left) then tap the PhotoSpring icon (if you don’t see it on the top row, you can enable it by scrolling to the right tap on the icon with three dots labeled “more” and add it to the options). No SD card / USB ability – not an issue for me, I prefer Wifi, but if you don’t have Wifi, and depend on loading directly from your digital camera SD card or USB computer connection, this may not work for you. You can easily upload pictures from a digital camera using the website upload option, but still needs wifi for this. One color, one size. It just comes in white, with 10 inch screen. Works fine for me, but would be nice to have all these features in additional options. It does come with different memory storage options though. The basic is 16GB, (twice as much as Nix comes with). Also comes in 32 and 80GB. Bottom Line: Easy to use, intuitive, packed with features.

I am very happy with this digital photo frame! I bought two as gifts - one for my 85 year old mother and one for my husband - and loaded photos on it prior to giving them. it is going to be the gift of choice this year for everyone in the family! It is easy to use -- I love that I can send photos directly from an iPhone or Android using an app and also from the computer. My 85 year old mother can even do it! I haven't done much in terms of organizing photos using favorites or sub-folders - it can be a little frustrating if you are trying to load the photos in an exact chronological order especially if you have photos of the same trip for example from multiple sources -- but you can add/change the date information and image title from within the frame to help get the photos where you want them. Customer service has been amazing -- very prompt to respond to questions that weren't addressed in the FAQs and they seem to always be working on updates to improve the usability.

Easy to use and transfer pictures via wi-fi. Two issues with it otherwise I would rate it a 5 star. Issue #1 - Needs a random setting for pictures. Right now however you download them is how they appear.over and over. I have been told that the company is working on this. Issue #2 - The on-off schedule at least on mine doesn't work. I have set it for a particular time to come on and go off. It stays on 24 hours a day. I have made the company aware of this and they say they are trying to work this bug out. Other then that it is a great product and fun to use and relive life events. Sometimes it is more fun then watching TV. Update - Initially I rated this as 4 star with the above issues. These issues have been fixed with some new additions. As a result I have now made it a 5 star item. It works great. Fun to watch your life in pictures. Customer support is very responsive and excellent. This is a great product.

Adding to my original review which follows this. After several months still five star and would give even higher if possible. Hae now gifted to four family members who loe it. Recently had to contact customer service for something that turned out to my fault when setting up frame. Dan was fantastic - patient, informative and was able to look at my frame and instantly diagnose issue and show me how to fix it. It runs nonstop at our house and no problems at all. I can't say enough good about this frame. I've been doing digital frames for family members since 2008 but at Christmas our frame just died - wouldn't work and no help from customer service. Thus began the purchase and return of 3 different frames. I bought Jimwey, Feelcare and Nix frames only to discover various deficiences in each of them from having been sent a used frame to one that wouldn't turn on. In desperation I ordered the 32GB Photoospring. What a joy. Easy set up, have loaded 6000+ photos quickly this week. Love the clear crisp display of photoos - better than any frame we've had. One great feature is that the frame'recognizes' duplicate pictures and ignores them. Touchscreen is so easy to use. Huge plus - has a battery life of 4+ hours so able to take off the charging base and pass around to folks to view up close. Able to delete right on screen if a photo I didn't want is on frame. Also able to easily create albums i.e. Christmas, Family Weddings, etc. to showcase just one event. But also plays all pjots and able to select Shuffle mode. Daughter and husband send photos from their phones and ipads directly to the frame. Also Photospeing is constntly updating the product and updates automatically sent to frame. We set it on 20 second view time and find ourselves reliving so many family memories. Nothing negative about this frame although it's only been a week. Try this one - you won't be disappointed.

This is my review of the PhotoSpring 10 Inch 16GB Wi-Fi Digital Photo Frame. The display screen is bright, and it is easy to view in various lighting conditions, even in bright daylight. The pixel resolution is 1280x800. Images are displayed accurately in terms of coloring, viewing angles were not problematic, and the overall image is beautiful. Videos played back smoothly on the frame. The PhotoSpring touch screen is responsive. It is easy to customize playlists and select photos. You can also use automated playlists to save time and effort. A virtual keyboard pops up when appropriate. You can use gestures to delete, hide, or favorite your photos quickly with the touch screen. The device runs off its internal lithium ion battery and it also plugs into a power cord that ends in a two-prong charger. It comes with a white plastic cradle that accommodates either Landscape or Portrait orientation. The frame feels solidly built and its one button that I use most often (the power button) seems like it is built to last. The frame comes in white only (a bright white hue similar to what Samsung and Apple use), and as far as I could tell, there are no other colors at the time of this review. Selection, display and organization of photos with the PhotoSpring is effective. It strikes a nice balance between automation (via a bunch of algorithms) and personal customization---you can have it both ways. The gathering of videos and photos for the frame is achieved through the cloud. I liked how it easily gathered photos. Photos can be transferred to the frame from anyone with a smartphone, tablet or PC. A second PhotoSpring frame is not needed to send images and video to another PhotoSpring. The gathering process is effective and takes little effort. This to me is what separates the PhotoSpring from previous frames, memory sticks are no longer needed because new incoming images are sent in the cloud. The PhotoSpring’s cloud storage provides another layer of redundancy for backing up your photos and videos. The 16 GB provided on my frame can store thousands of photos; I believe there is a 32 GB version available as well for those with large video files or massive photo collections. Sharing a photo is easy using the PhotoSpring app. I select images from my smartphone and click send. Owners of the frame grant permission (this only has to happen once) to receive images. Once this authorization is complete, I can send images to my friend’s PhotoSpring in seconds (or a few minutes if the upload is large). You don’t have to settle for sending photos one at a time, you can select multiple photos and just click the Send button once. There is a live, real-time message that keeps you updated on how many images have uploaded until it is complete. Easy. If you can text a photo to someone on your phone, you can upload a photo to PhotoSpring. The displaying of videos or photos uses a playlist approach similar to an Android or Apple device. Setup of the PhotoSpring was fairly quick (you power it on, connect it to Wi-Fi, create an online account). If you were to gift the PhotoSpring to a family member who is not tech savvy, be sure during setup that they know the name of their Wi-Fi network and their network’s Wi-Fi password in order to set up the frame. This is well-engineered hardware that has cloud-based component, so I was curious what would happen if my broadband connection was taken down, especially with extreme weather. I turned off my router for a few minutes to test this. The PhotoSpring device happily kept showing all the videos and photos loaded onto it. It resumed downloading new images once I restored the broadband connection. One thing I like about the PhotoSpring 10 Inch 16GB Wi-Fi Digital Photo Frame is that its makers seem be embracing a continuous deployment approach. In other words, the company is adding meaningful services and features (the touchscreen menu reports that a Set Sleep Timer function is coming soon) without requiring you to pay for them. Using the PhotoSpring app is free for me with no hidden charges. In the short time since I bought my PhotoSpring, the company added the ability to play videos. This adds value. I tested this out only briefly; the videos looked sharp and the sound from the built-in 2 watt mono speaker was adequate. There is a volume control and brightness control on the touchscreen menu, so a few swipes let you control this. This a great digital photo frame that intelligently uses the cloud to gather your photos and videos.
