Easy to use and ready right out of the box
Easy to use. Really don't need the arm rest.

Work very well
I had an old 20 year crank spreader. I knew it wasn’t doing the job sufficiently. I am very happy with my new Scott’s spreader...my goodness, it spreads evenly and gets the job done. Great investment.

Sturdy, light weight - great buy!
This is a great little spreader! So easy to use and supports your arm at the same time! My husband loves it! A great help for any home owner! Very well made, too!

Easy to use
This is very easy to use and works well. I used it to put lawn feed in my fenced in back yard. My backyard is hard to get into with the spreader I use with the lawn tractor. This was quick and easy. Had it done in a few minutes. I also used it for putting down insect control.

Reliable
Way more dependable than the electric model

It is GREAT!
It works 3 times better than my old drop spreader and cost 1/3 as much! Also, I get the job done in maybe 1/3 the time, meaning that I am much more likely to fertilize routinely this year, which has never been the case before. For the record, this is designed for right-handed people, since the crank is on that side, but a lefty could probably manage.

Good buy
The product is good for covering the area that you want to focus on without wasting material.

Easy to use and sturdy
This spreader seems we’ll made, easy to use and did not clog up st sell. I am very pleased with it although I have used it only once.

Used it dozen times, so far so good!
I've filled this bad boy up to the top with weed/feed and bug killer. Really easy to spread, just take your time and slowly rotate the handle. I saw some reviews on the handle breaking, I can see where that could happen. If you crank on it hard and fast, BUT it doesn't take much energy or force to crank on the leaver. Just spread and chill! I spread about 30lbs of granules in my yard so far.
