Great AIO setup
My wife and I purchased this as a christmas present for my parents. They have said that it boots fast and works well. They are very happy and so far satisfied with the machine. The shipping was super fast and professional. Thanks!

Just a regular Joe
I am not a big computer guy, and this computer was easy to set up, and I have had it for a couple of months now. I love it and feel very comfortable recommending it.

Is the perfect combination of performance and value
I was looking for something that would be fast but still not break the bank. This combination of an i5 with an SSD drive and touchscreen in a sleek looking package was the best thing I found. Very happy with the purchase.

I LOVE it!
I love everything about this computer! The screen is large and clear, colors are crisp and bright. And it's compact enough to go just about anywhere

HP Pavilion meets all expectations
I nursed my old homebuilt computer along for many years but eventually the hardware was too obsolete to run Windows 10. I was going to build my own again, but found that the days of buying your own parts to obtain the specs desired and saving money, are gone. So I started shopping for a replacement. I focused on All-in-one computers for space saving reasons as well as an attempt to keep dust out of the traditional tower or mid-tower case systems. The case and power supply cooling fans tended to suck in everything and eventually cause overheating. The All-in-one design sits on your desktop, not the floor, and eliminates a lot of the dust problem. I settled on the HP Pavilion All-in-One and it does not disappoint. I have been running it through its paces for about a month. I ordered it with a 250 GB SSD boot drive and a 1 terabyte HDD data drive. It boots immediately and screams through all exercises I try. My main use (now retired) is photography. I can download a SD chip with 10 to 20 gigs of photos in seconds. It used to take several minutes on my old computer. The slot for SD cards is easily accessible without going to the back of the monitor ( bottom edge, center) Processing RAW photos on Photoshop is near instantaneous. A nice improvement over the old dinosaur computer. I can hear a bit of fan/hard drive whine on startup but it only lasts a few seconds. Then it quiets down and is a non-issue. I thought I was taking a gamble on not purchasing the i7 CPU set, but the i5-8400T six core is more than up to the task. The display screen is bright and sharp. Great for my photo hobby. No complaints. I do not use the touch screen feature, at least not yet. I did not expect to use it. I cannot rate the touch screen. The pedestal base for the computer is faced with felt. If you do have to spin it around to access the ports on the back, it will not scratch your desk. USB Ports on the back of the monitor are adequate and easy to access. I plug in additional hard drives with volumes of photos and they are displayed immediately. (one HDD I plug in with a USB is 250 GB) I did not use tech support. It was not needed. Setup was mostly autonomous and easy. The only downside would be the built-in speakers. However they work exactly as I would expect for speakers of such diminutive size. They might be OK for voice such as Skype, etc. If you want good sound you need bigger speakers. I plugged in an external set ( Altec Lansing) with a sub-woofer that delivers great sound. If this processes large photo files easily I have little doubt it could handle any of today's processing challenges including CADD. Yep, you can spend a whole lot more......but why?
