Awesome camera. Keep having a pro lem with my dog food container being opened and I blamed my son for forgetting to close it a couple of times. Since dog food bbn is not cheap. I was really starting to stress why this container was being opened. So I bought and set up this camera. Thank you night vision. I actually watched to raccoons. Come up and work together and opened that high container lid. Did I tell you it is a blue trash can with the swing lid. Yes. Those raccoons opened that lid which the other pushed it over so they could eat. The next night I put a big brick on top of it but those suckers still moved that brick. Now it is tied up and they can't get in it now. Thank you so much for this amazing camera to catch my little thiefs.

This is my fourth trail camera from various manufacturers, and the most impressive so far. Has many improvements on the older model: navigation+on/test/off buttons and LCD screen on the front, allowing you to target properly; very easy-to-use and intuitive menu with more picture capture options; robust latches and durable case design. Overall the camera works very well and takes great pictures and videos: I wanted it to take photographs of the wildlife in my garden and I'm very pleased with my purchase, would recommed it!

I live in a suburban area with many nocturnal critters. Some I like and some not so much. The HC300 allows me to monitor patio activity and helps me control the rodent activity. It also delivers interesting shots of raccoons, opossums, cats, birds etc. The user interface is friendlier than my previous model.

This is my first Trail Camera. During the last three weeks I have moved it around to several areas on the property testing what works for me and what doesn’t. The HC300 pictures and video are clear and crisp @ 16MP. Night video is somewhat lacking but it is night after all. Living in Washington State and I have lots of trees and bushes on the property. When the wind blows the bushes move and it triggers the camera, which mean many empty shots. But it is motion activated. It rained heavy twice and the camera kept dry inside. But we average 40+ inches of rain a year here so we will see if it stands up to that. I set the camera on a tripod shooting the water fountain for 48 hour. I saw at least a dozen birds at the fountain during that time but when I checked the camera of the 29 videos I had there were only two of birds. Most were of just the fountain or insects at the fountain. Very disappointing. The night shots, when the fountain is off, got insects or nothing at all. Makes me wonder what else the camera is missing at other locations on the property. Not sure about the 0.5 second activation speed. Raccoons are almost through the shot before it activates the video. And Raccoons have a tendency to move pretty slow unless they are being chased. Update July 11, 2019 Victure costumer service contacted me after my review in an effort to address my concerns of the HC300. Nina wrote an extensive email making suggestions about how I might improve the experience with my trail camera. Many I had not considered, it's my first trail camera you see, and I am in the process of trying those suggestion. Just the fact that Nina took that much effort to help make my experience with the camera better says a lot about the company and even if all her suggestions do not work for me I believe increasing my rating to 5 stars is warranted.

This is not my first trail cam but it is the best yet. Photo quality is great! I have issues with critters destroying my landscape and wanted to see who the culprits were. Rabbits and deer both.....now I just have to figure out how to get rid of them. Great product at an even greater price. Highly recommended!

I have only had this camera for a few days but so far it is very good. I have other Victure cameras and this new design is an improvement. The buttons are mechanical buttons now instead of the membrane buttons on the previous design. Also, the battery compartment door is a separate gasketed and latched door on the bottom of the camera. I would say that to me the picrure quality seems the same; which I would say is good. The only negative thing I didn't like was that they removed the curved plastic frame from the back and instead made the back flat with two large buckles. The old design, I thought, fit to a tree well with the curved frame. However, I did not have any problems positioning the camera with the new design so it's really not a big deal. I will have to use it more and see if anything goes wrong but so far it is a very good camera.
