Amazing product and translate many language quickly

This is an amazing product, it gets functions you don't need to be connected to your phone or wifi to have this thing work. The library is already inside.And it translate quickly.

Exceeded my expectations!

I went to Hunan to visit my wife's family, and I speak only 6 words of Mandarin. I never connected it to the internet before we left the USA. As with any translation service, there are some false translations (which is to be expected). but overall it met all of my needs and even allowed me to have a 3 hr conversation with my brother in law while we were driving to the airport! It did fail in some of the more rural dialect scenarios, however, it wasn't because the device couldn't translate it I think it did a fair job, going from rural dialect -> English, however, because my Mother-in-law doesn't understand standard Mandarin I couldn't communicate back. Thus, she could communicate towards me but I couldn't say anything as a response. I was skeptical of the cost as I was getting on the plane, but overall it was worth the price. I was a little surprised when we got to China that it automatically detected an internet connection (I never configured it to do so) and I think it did a software update (which is a little disconcerting IMHO). It also notified me that at some point it lost internet connection and was working in offline mode.
