See my 5 month review at the end. Original post after 4 days of use, This gun for $35 is amazing. I have been using it for the past 4 days in my upholstery shop and it works fine. It takes the #7 empire staples, so same staples I have in my shop. Thinking about grabbing another because I bet the price goes up once the word gets out. Only thing that i did not like is the cheap rubber grip cover. It felt cheap and like it would become a problem so i cut it off. Shot about 1000 staples so far and works just great. PS it looks very similar to the Harbor freight t50 pneumatic gun. And that one I use as a loaner and stapling coil springs to frames. Work good too. Update, After several projects in my upholstery shop, I still say this gun is amazing for the price. I have fired about 5000 staples since I got it and it works great. Update October 2019 Almost 3 months into this staple gun and over 15000 staples use, and it is still running strong, I have used it as my main gun since I got it and have no reason to quit. I have also recommended it to other shop owner who are also amazed at the price and it's ability to us standard Empire #7 staples. Probably should buy another as a backup or if I bring in another upholsterer. 5 months in and still going strong. Use it every day as my main gun. Still can't believe $35. Must have shot 20,000 staples though it. Might sound hard to believe but I buy about 15 boxes of 5,000 staples a year so... For the price this gun is fantastic. Update after over a year and 40,000 staples later. Works well with no problems.

I purchased this for my automotive upholstery shop because i needed one fast. It arrived very quickly . I was surprised at how good the quality was for the money. It worked extremely well even fitting in tight spots. Only issue i had was the safety kept accidentally getting pushed so i had to keep “unlocking it” which was a little annoying but a great value for the money. Was better quality than ones i have purchased for more money from my distributor. Highly recommend this stapler, should work for many diffferent needs and projects.

Use for upholstery couch, chairs whatever comes along. Love doing it! This stapler is wonderful!! Works great, easy to handle because it's small and lightweight!! Staple are just right thickness. Would buy again and definitely recommend.

Note: This item is not for use with standard home center staples. You have to special order upholstery type staples! I used it with 5/32 length upholstery staples, which is smaller than the specifications say it can shoot, but it worked great. It didn't misfire a single staple, and all of them went into the leather and plastic perfectly at 60 psi. It has no safety on the nose of the stapler to prevent it from firing without being against something. But that is a plus - it makes it much easier to use in difficult areas doing upholstery work.

This is my first pneumatic stapler and I couldn't be more pleased. I upholstered 6 hard wood dining chairs and 1 office chair (about 2500 staples) and not a single jam or misfire. Not a single wasted staple. I normally expect to have to tap a few in with a hammer, but my hammer was a lonely onlooker for these projects. Not a single staple needed to be coaxed in. I have been using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GM97GM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they go in super clean and tight but are a little tough coming out, mostly they just break. But I think with 22 gauge wire it's to be expected, esp with hard wood. The nose is nice and long, slim, precise. The loading is single handed even with my arthritis. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stapler. Used it to staple multiple layers of thick upholstery padding and fabric. Never jammed or shot out multiple staples. The trigger requires very little pressure to operate and the safety mechanism is also very easy to nudge out of the way so it requires care when moving it around when connected to compressor.

I'm a professional upholsterer and know how much staple guns cost so I was really skeptical - but I was also broke and needed an extra gun. This is a fantastic light duty stapler! It's perfect for lightweight fabrics and vinyl - you know those projects where your regular gun blasts the staples right on through the fabric and sinks them into the wood? This is gun you want for those projects. If you're a hobbyist or new to upholstery, this is a good starter gun - it's just what you need for dining seats or almost any small project. It's also good if you're feeling tentative - sometimes you have to set staples temporarily and pull them out again, and this is the right gun for that. I'm thrilled. I have had times when I've had to go back and bang staples the rest of the way down with a hammer - in my case, I switch back to my heavy duty gun when that happens. It takes standard 3/8" crown staples, same as my other gun. The only complaint I have is the "safety" is a silly little thing that swivels around behind the trigger and sometimes I hit it by accident and it's in the way. Eventually I'll take it off completely. That's it. This is an Awesome Light Duty stapler.

For a person who makes his living doing upholstery work, this stapler is amazing! It has put to shame the other staplers I have spent over $100+ on! It also is the only one that will staple the whole range of sizes without fail, especially the 5/32”. It works so well, I purchased another one for a spare!

i got this for my husbands upholstery business and it was exactly what he needed for once i got it right

Used it with 3/8" long staples to restaple our all leather reclining sofa sections. Worked perfectly and the 1" extension allowed for getting into corners with ease. The 22 gauge staples worked perfectly. The original staples on the sofa were 1/2" crown the but the 3/8" crown was sufficient. Very happy with the quality and the price.
