Good tools

These blockers have a slight curve on the gripping portion. I found it to be very helpful in extracting them from the box and holding them. At the same time I purchased these I also bought a box of rainbow blockers. They both made blocking my latest items much easier and quicker than T-pins. I like both, but particularly like the larger number of blockers in this set and that indent that made gripping easier. It also comes with T-pins so seems quit versatile.

If you knit shawls or large projects you need these.

Product arrived very quickly. Don't know how I managed in the past when blocking out my knitted shawls using just t-pins. These larger pins are great, takes about half the time to block out a large shawl or wrap. They are sturdy and easy to handle and I love the storage container they come in, which is equally as sturdy as the pins. I had previously bought one of these sets for my sister and I should have ordered one for myself as well. Would definitely recommend for any blocking project.

Easy to use

These are my first set of blocking combs. I have always used pins before. I like everything about these blocking combs. Great sturdy case, sharp points, and a comfortable curved top that is easy to grip.

Yes - so helpful!

After blocking with pins for years I am so happy I bought the Red Suricata Knit Blocking Combs. I will still use pins for certain items I have crocheted but these blocking combs are super cool. I'm working on a block pattern now that requires blocking every 10th. row or so and these combs really help.

A must have, convenient, & makes blocking easier.

I was happy with my new blocking kit. It has made my life easier. I love that it's conveniently packed in its own box, with the bonus of extra pins. It's amazing how so much can be in the compact box. It's neat and tidy. I'm always all about being able to take my projects with me. My little Red Suricata box fits right into my travel bag. Work great on lace projects

These pins work perfectly for lace projects where T-pins don't hold a big enough area. Combined with blocking wires, these pins adequately set details, points and curves on knitted items. I have also used them to block straight edges and they work fine for that, too. I have not used them with heavier weight yarn, so I can only review how the pins work with fingering weight. I would guess they work just as well with worsted. I am very pleased with them and recommend them to anyone who needs to finish off a project and have it lie flat and with detail showing.

Worth it!

I used to use straight pins but these give a much smoother edge. Well worth the investment.

Way more efficient than one pin at a time

I bought this item to speed up the knit blocking process and I have to say this item does deliver as well as I had hoped it would. The combs are very easy to use. I just wish I had known about them sooner.

Sturdy!

This is my first time ordering and using for blocking a baby blanket. I ordered 2 sets as I was not sure one would do but it worked out perfectly. I would still keep the 2nd set in case I have something bigger to block. It went together perfectly and I was able to pick it up and move it without it falling apart.

sharp, thin

super sharp, prongs are thinner and sharper than another brand i purchased, the thin prongs are easier to push through my art pieces and easier to push into my bboard
