Really light. Easy to set up and use. Works great
I was a bit skeptical.... a portable scanner. Had tried them a very long time ago. Wow...this is very light weight. You hardly notice it. And it fits easily in a tote, luggage bag. The set up was fairly straight forward. Had no trouble with a MacBook Pro. I like the built in battery feature. Don't expect this to do what bigger scanner will do, but it can rival it and for someone who travels and needs a quick scan to email something or to save something, it's very nice.

Compact, portable and easy to use!!!
This thing is fantastic. I love it. This is the first portable document scanner I've had and I'm sold. You can scan wirelessly or you can connect with the USB. It scans really quickly and the scans come through instantly. The quality is good. I just used this for the first time to scan in my tax documents to email over to my accountant, and it worked fabulously. It took me a minute to find the software to download on Epson's website, but once I got that down it was super easy to use. I am SO happy I got this. This is going to make my life 1000 times easier. A+++!!!

LOVE it for teaching work
I have been using this to digitize hand-drawn and written teaching materials so I can modify them electronically or share them easily with colleagues. It's also a great way to help students put their original artwork with digital writing projects. Clear, detailed scans that can be saved as JPGs or PDFs (and even Docs if it's just words, etc). Once they're in your device, they are easy to edit and share. At $130, it's a pricey add on to a class, but might be a good way to spend grant money. Even if this wasn't a review item, I would have had it on a class wish list. I really love it!

Small, portable, works well
This is a really great product. Small, lightweight, easy to use. It is almost perfect. It does require (free) drivers to work, and getting it connected to wifi was a bit fussy. It also seems to not like switching between wireless wifi and the USB connection. Between the wireless and USB versions of this scanner, I'd give the nod to the USB non-wireless version. It is simpler to set up, and more likely to just work without any hassles. That said, if you have a specific need for the wireless capability, like an inaccessible USB port, this will work.

It just works!
I've used this for over a month, and love it. Scanners of the past were troublesome with feed jams and misaligned images...this doesn't do that. It's the size of two tubes of toothpaste, is cable free, and puts paper forms into my computer (or phone!) quickly and easily.

Punches Above its Weight Class
My wife frequently travels for work and document scanning is a challenge on the road, particularly permission forms and other relevant info that you need processed quickly into digital format. That's where this scanner comes in. For a scanner like this, there are a few attributes that make it stand out: * Weight: It needs to be lightweight. This is 0.66 lbs, so it certainly qualifies. * Speed: If you're in front of a client, you need to scan quickly. This scanner scans a single page in four seconds. * Connectability: You need to be able to easily connect via wi-fi to any device (in our case, PC, Mac, or iPhone). It handles all three. * Optical Character Recognition (OCR): It's fine to scan documents, but very often those documents need to be inserted into another file or copied into another format. This scanner uses Nuance OCR and exports them to PDF, Word, or Excel. Overall this is an excellent little scanner that punches above its weight class. Now we just need a wireless printer to go with it...

Epson Workforce ES-60 Portable Scanner
Super simple review.... If you need a portable scanner, this is the one you should buy. It's easy to set up. Runs on battery or USB. Very compact & lightweight. Relatively fast. Intuitive desktop and mobile interfaces. Reasonable price. In short, it has everything you would need for occasional scanning in the field. Just keep in mind that this is not a desktop scanner and as such lacks lacks some of features you would expect in a full featured desktop scanner, such as; 2 sided scanning, sheet feeder, super fast scan speeds. It's also doesn't carry the desktop scanner price tag. There you have it. No lengthy rehash of manufacturers specifications or voluminous review. I know your time is valuable.

This is a tiny scanner that works great!
I didn't need to contact tech support so I didn't rate it, but what a cool scanner this is. I hooked it up to my home computer, my laptop (both Windows 10), and then loaded the software on my iPhoneX from the AppStore. It was easy to install once I figured out what Epson was trying to say in their directions. It scans fast and the quality is good, not great. I have not tried photos yet, only documents. Super happy with this little guy. Traveling with it is going to be great. It's little and light. I bought the Caseling case to go with it. I've only scanned a few things so I don't know what kind of workhorse it will be, but I plan to put it to good use in a few weeks.

Get one of these and get rid of a lot of paper
Love this thing. Makes for much less clutter and paperwork. A cinch to use.
