Best quality I've found!
I'm a pet sitter and use these for client keys. I had been ordering another brand until recently, and then tried these. These "tough" tags are MUCH better quality! The tags are more rubbery (versus the flimsy plastic of other brands). But the best part (for me) is that the actual metal key rings are higher quality (it overlaps more than other cheaper brands). This has been an issue for me with other key tags, where keys will fall off the flimsy metal ring. I will definitely only be ordering this brand in the future!

These are just fine - especially for the price
These are just fine - especially for the price. Mind you they are made in China. That being said, perhaps the best advice I can give is to use a good ball point pen to write the labels and let it dry for 30 minutes and it is less likely to smear. Also, when you slide out the label, try to avoid sliding out the clear plastic cover all the way. It will make it that much easier to insert the paper later.

Will not buy anything else
Our company uses these for every set of keys we organize. The colors are perfect and each one is sturdy. I have bought other brands and packages of colors and this is the only one I will keep purchasing. None of the others compare. This is a great labeling system for keys, whether its for your office or home.

Just what I needed
I bought a vacation rental townhome and needed many keyrings with labels to distribute the keysets to people--housekeeper set, personal set, extra set. I found this set which had more than I needed for a good price. The plastic part is a bit flimsy but on the plus side, it's smaller and less bulky than the ones we inherited from the previous owner. Take the keyring off, slide out the plastic, write on the paper label, and put it back together. Easy. My pen did smear on the paper label--it was slightly shiny paper, but after I realized that, I left them dry for a few seconds and didn't have anymore problems.

Very handy product!
These have worked out great. I did not have any problems getting the label out or putting it back in. A bit "inconvenient" in that you have to remove the key ring in order to get the label out but not difficult at all. The colors make it easy to tell the keys apart without even having to read the label. They are sturdy - I have set that gets thrown into my bag, dropped on the floor, stepped on and generally tossed all over the place. The labels have stayed put and the tags have stood up to the abuse. I would order these again and I think they would work great for name tags on kids backpacks, lunchboxes or anything else that needs an ID.

Seven Stars - Indispensible
Organizing keys is a key to organizing your life. This really does the trick. Negatives: - None Positives: - The round ring is a true key ring that will not fail. True key rings are hard to find. - There is plastic cover for label so ink does not fade. - The label you can actually write on. - Design. Key ring blocks label and plastic cover from slipping. - Design. Color coded. - Design. Four colors per. Often you get two locks each with two keys. - Design. All good solid materials. - Price I found the following other products helpful and am thrilled with my total system: Centurion USA Set of 2 Keyed Alike Waterproof Padlock, Wide Body - Weather Resistant Outdoor Padlock, 4 Keys Included (40mm Body) Hillman 701288 Assorted Split-Ring Key Rings, 4-Pack

Exactly What We Needed
I bought these to label lunch boxes and winter jackets so they don’t get lost at school. I don’t like permanent labels because we donate a lot of our items after we have outgrown them and don’t want our personal info out there. The plastic has a nice little flex in it so you don’t have to worry about it snapping or cracking. Some reviewers said it was impossible to get the label out through the small slit, but that isn’t what the slit is for. Remove the key ring and slide the label out through the clearly LARGE opening on one end of the plastic. 🙄 The quality is exactly what I expected and a fabulous price for the quantity compared to store prices for a pack of only 5 or 10.

Very useful for obsessive organizers.
These were great for organizing all my keys. Finally. Only small issue is that it was a bit difficult to remove the marking paper and clear plastic. If memory serves, the best way is using the side with the key ring hole. Remove the key ring, put your finger on the clear plastic protector and pull it out the top. Once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing. Initially, I was thrown off because there’s a slit on the opposite side of the key ring hole. When you bend back the plastic behind the slit, it’s possible to access the paper and clear plastic protector. But the other way is far faster and more efficient.

would recommend
I read the reviews and despite some of the negative reviews, I still bought it. I think it's a great product for what it is and the price. Yes, it's a little "flimsy", but I enjoy that about this product bc its malleable and it makes me feel like it won't snap in two. Also, I noticed some people complained about how difficult it is to get the little paper in and out of the key tag. I feel like that's an unfair review bc if I were to put a label in there, I EXPECT that it'll stay in there and that it's hard to get out bc otherwise it'll fall out in two seconds. I recommend removing both the blank paper and the plastic film at the same time because whatever you put in last usually lands on top. so you want the paper 1st and the plastic film second (last) so that the film covers the paper (that was probably confusing, but it makes sense if you have it in person)

Good key tags for home use
I bought these because my new house came with a key box, so I might as well put it to use. The tags are a good consistency of plastic, not too hard, not too soft. The tags will bend if they are in your pocket instead of stabbing you in the leg. I was concerned the key ring would be the super cheap kind that bend instantly if you pull the key from the tag, but they were good. Not the best I have ever seen, but fine for keeping key that won't see daily use secured to the tags. I printed out labels, so never used the included paper. Putting the labels in was easy enough, but it helped to have the plastic cover in first to use a guide. Overall I was very a happy for the price and would purchase again.
