I was pleased right away when I opened the package: the instructions are actually understandable! They're written in actual English, as opposed to the usual "English translated from Chinese by someone who speaks neither language." I was more pleased after I read the instructions, because they're incredibly simple: start your car, plug in the device, set the desired PSI, and connect the hose to the first tire. It screws in to ensure a tight connection, and it overinflates slightly to account for a bit of air loss when unscrewing. I was able to inflate all four tires from about 29 PSI to 36 PSI in 10 minutes or so. The only thing I can't speak to (yet) is durability, but it certainly seems to be well made. Highly recommended.

Great little compressor from a woman's point of view.

This review is from a woman's perspective, mine. I don't know anything about compressors other than they inflate things that I need blown up. I don't know anything technical about it other than it works great! It is so easy to use and read the LED lighted screen. I have inflatables for the grandkids and bike tires to inflate and whatever else that needs air. It's inflates very quick and is somewhat quiet. I plan on using this occasionally as needed and it packs away great in a cabinet in the garage as it is very compact. This is a really good home compressor and it's just what I needed.

Great little pump

This pump is much smaller than I anticipated, as you can probably tell from the picture with a standard-sized cat for comparison. It comes with a nice zippered carrying bag and together, this can very nicely be tossed in the trunk of the car, or even the back seat, and it doesn't take up much room at all. It runs very quietly and features a nice digital display that allows you to set the "target" air pressure, and it shuts off automatically when reaching slightly above that pressure. It comes with a variety of attachments which I've used to inflate various things around the house (exercise ball, speed bag for the punching bag), and of course you can also use it for car tires. It has a screw-on connector for tires, which makes it just a bit bothersome to use as some air will get out of the tire as you're unscrewing it. But it does inflate everything to a tiny bit more than you set it to, so considering the bit of air loss you get when detaching it, it comes out about right. Another nice feature is the built-in flashlight, which comes in extremely handy with anything car-related. Overall this is a great item for anyone wanting to make sure they can fix flat or under-inflated tires, needs to deal with bicycle tires, has various things around the house that need inflating, of wants to go tubing down a river. Nice and quiet and quite powerful.

First impressions are good.

This looks and feels well made. It is compact, and inflated Auto tires rapidly to a set tire pressure as described. I believe there is a high reliability potential with this pump and I am pleased with its performance at this time. The AstroAi folks added a few little touches such as a tie strap for the power cord and a clip on the air hose to hold the hose when you wrap it up when you put the pump away. I had a question about the compressor and contacted AstroAi, and received a response the same day . . which I appreciated.

Brilliancy in a Small Package

I am over the moon with this appliance. Granted, I have only used it to inflate my bicycle tires and haven't had a need to inflate the car's, but I don't see any reason why it couldn't. Ease of use is beyond this world: set the target inflation pressure after plugging it into the cigarette lighter port (as it used to be known) and screw the hose into the valve, turn it on and sick back to watch it inflate to the number desired. Supposedly, it will inflate it slightly past the set pressure so that as you unscrew the hose, the escaping air will reduce the pressure to that target setting. That's a nice idea, but I have no idea if it actually works. Really, the only way this will disappoint is if the inflation pressure numbers are wrong. I will be testing this in the coming days. Since I have an outlet in my trunk area, I can use the inflator on my back wheels. I also have an outlet in the front, driver area, which allows me to use it on the front wheels. I hope it continues to function as well as the few times I've tried it, it's a godsend.
