The case is wonderful. It recharges my phone multiple times per day! It uses a lightning cable to charge the phone and case at the same time so I don’t have to switch between cables to charge the phone directly and the case separately. The lightning port is fully functional so the headphones and adapters work directly through the case! The case is rubberized and protected my phone the time or two I’ve dropped it. The battery pack seemed to withstand the drops well, too. There is a charge indicator on the back as well as an on/off switch so you can select when to charge your phone. So far best results were turning it on when the phone is around 20% and letting it charge to about 80%. This is a great case! I’ll be getting another one for my wife’s phone!!

It’s pretty good. It’s holds a good amount of battery. I only need to use a lightning cable to charge it. I can even charge the phone and the case (while attached to the phone) at the same time with one cable; it just takes a little longer compared to charging them seperately with two cables. I attached a popsocket (not included) to the back of it, and it stays. I had a case once where the popsocket glue would not stay. I only have three small complaints. First complaint is the vibrate toggle switch. The case let’s me change it to vibrate easily, but it’s little bit difficult to change it back to ringer. Second is that it won’t work with accessories that don’t involve charging it, like the Sandisk iXpand (usb drive for phones). I have to remove the case, in order to make it work. I’ve tried other charging cases before and it’s a common problem. My third complaint is that the lights, on the back, stay on the whole time while the case is charging the phone or being charged by the cable. For the most part, it works great. I’d recommend it.

I would recommend this case. I've had to look for another case recently and came across this and ordered it. It arrived and first thing I noticed is how slim and comfortable it is on the phone! Hardly notice its a battery case when on your phone. I like that when you charge the case it'll charge your phone first then the battery case. I have gotten 2 charges off the case which leave plenty off time "unattached" to a plug and your phone near by. I also like the fact that your able to use your lightning cable to charge the case and the it fits nice and tight in the port. I would definitely recommend this case to friends and family if they were looking for a battery case.

Unboxing the case, I'm met with minimal advertising, yet very detailed instructional cards on how to install, remove, charge, & check for power for the case. I recycle enough with the careful & secure Amazon packaging; therefore I appreciate having to recycle less from this product and concentrate more on the charging case. The charging case is a very straightforward product: pull back the top and slide the iPhone straight along the track. Coming at an angle could damage the charging port and those are costly fixes for not following instructions (which are displayed everywhere especially in the case). Once secured, the rubber top closes up nicely. The rubber lip surrounding the screen is deep enough to where if the phone falls flat on the screen, it will absorb the energy; I always use a glass screen protector just in case the one time it drops, the screen is smashed. Buttons amplify the clicking of my buttons, and the gap for the vibrate rocker is a good depth to where I don't need to insert my keys to rock the vibrate on & off. Native lightning charging port is important because many iPhone users rarely carry anything but lightning cables and the kind. Space for the headset jack makes this a prime backwards compatible case for the 6/6s, yet the gaps are wide enough to expose the speaker and taptic grates of the 7/8 Fantastic product and fit: the bulk of the battery gives a more ergonomic feel to the iPhone: anyone who experiences a bulge with pop sockets and such won't notice the extra bulk. This product offers full disclosure on the listing description, and upon unboxing, is more focused on the product and being used correctly, than fancy packaging to show off the case. This case absolutely does the job and is a great purchase for the power user who needs a midday top up of power!

This product is great for what it advertises, it extends the battery life for your iPhone. It's a snug fit on the phone, but as long as you follow the directions it installs easily. Case has a nice feel to it, and all ports are still accessible. I've run my battery down a few times with this case, and then just use the cases battery and we are back in business! Only two downsizes, but neither are major if you are considering buying a battery case. 1. Your iphone can no longer charge wirelessly. 2. It does about double the weight of the phone. If you are considering a battery case for your iPhone, I would definitely recommend looking at this one.

I received this battery case a little over a week ago – and after using it for seven days straight, I felt ready to give my review on this product; I’ll try to cover everything I can think of and include pictures of the battery case on and off of my phone. Build: The front of the case has a rubber semi-flexible lip around the rim – so if you were to lay your iPhone on its front with the case on, the screen would be off the ground by a few millimeters. I have a glass screen protector on my iPhone 8 and the lip of the case still kept my screen off the ground. If I dropped my iPhone in the case from the top of a table, I wouldn’t be too worried about damage, but anything higher than that might be a little too destructive for this case. On the sides, you’ll get plastic buttons for the home and volume rocker (with the volume rocker have plus and minus symbols etched in for the respective buttons), as well as a cutout for the mute toggle switch (which is easy enough to access with a fingernail). On the bottom of the phone, you have two speaker cutouts for the left and right grills. Now, oddly enough, the left speaker grill cutout has a headphone hole built into it (see attached picture). After further research, it turns out that this case also fits the iPhone 6/6S - that's kinda neat! Lastly, in the center of the bottom of the case, below where you would find the lightning port on an iPhone 7 or 8, there is a Lightning port for charging – we’ll talk about that more in a minute. On the back, you get a bendable rubbery bit at the top by the camera section that can bend down, then back into place. This is done so that you can bend it down and slide the iPhone into the case without the case needing to slide a part in two sections. It’s a pretty neat idea, but I worry about the longevity of this solution – if you don’t take your iPhone out of the case that often it is probably fine, but if you swap between cases regularly, this might become worn down and could cause your phone to slip out of the case. The rubber that surrounds the camera sits quite a bit lower than the rest of the back in order for the case to be able to bend to accommodate the iPhone being inserted. This slopes up to meet the integrated battery, which is coated in a soft-touch rubbery material. At the bottom of the battery, there are four white LED lights on the left side, and a little power button on the right side. One push of push the power button turns on the lights for five seconds to show the charge level of the battery case: 4 lights are equal to or less than 100%, 3 lights are equal to or less than 75%, 2 lights are equal to or less than 50%, and 1 light is equal to or less than 25%. Holding the button for two seconds activates the charging function of the case, and in doing so, turns on the LED lights to indicate the iPhone is charging (the lights do no turn off while charging is activated). Holding the button again for two seconds while the case is charging will turn off the battery case, and the lights will turn off. My Experience: My iPhone 8 is only a year old, however its battery life is awful – after only a few hours, I’m down to 50% battery, so I needed a decent battery case to fix the issues. Most battery cases out of the market only use Micro USB as the connector instead of Lightning, and I really wanted to use a case with a Lightning port so I didn’t need to carry around two cables – and like I mentioned above, this case checks that box. There is one other neat feature about the case that I only learned about after a few days of use: you can use the built in Lightning port to connect headphones for listening to audio and to sync data across the connector. While I am not sure how the manufacturer accomplished this, I’m not complaining – you could use this case as a daily case and you would have no need to take it off because of that, which is pretty cool. This could be blocked in an update by Apple in the future if they decide to restrict third party data access through the Lightning port, but for now it works and it works great. In my experience, I was able to charge my phone 1.5x over, meaning I was able to charge it from dead to 100%, and then from 50% to 100% with a little left over to spare. While it is not the biggest battery in the world, this case easily got me through two days of use without needing to plug the case/phone in. In my testing, the case would get warm but not too hot – similar to if you were using your iPhone for a while and the back got warm from a game or movie. Another thing to note - when using the case to charge the iPhone, even when the iPhone hit 100%, the case would continue charging the phone – meaning that you will need to manually turn off the case on from the button on the back, otherwise the battery in the case will deplete itself. When charging the case via the Lightning port, the LED indicator lights on the back would remain on the whole time while the iPhone/case is plugged in. This was a little annoying at night, since the lights are pretty bright, however just setting the phone with the back down on a nightstand or table covered them up, so it was not really an issue. Another thing to note is how the case charges: if your iPhone is at say 20% and the case is at 75%, when plugging in the case to charge, it will first charge the iPhone then the case. This means that your phone will need to be charged to 100% before the case will begin charging from 75% to 100%. With that said, I never felt like the case took a long time to charge either – imagine just charging your iPhone twice – that’s how long it took to charge both the case and the iPhone from dead to 100%. Conclusion: The case is a solid 5/5 stars in my opinion. It does the job, and does it well, and has some nice features like the Lightning port for data syncing/music/charging and the LED light indicators on the back. I’m sure there are other good battery cases out there, but for the money, you can’t beat this one.

I travel alot for business so I'm in and out of airports, planes, Uber's and always on my phone. This case has been a game changer as I used to have to charge my phone at least 2times per day. I'm no longer having to search for wall outlets to get a little charge or carrying around an extra battery pack to get my fill. Now with the push of a button, I can recharge my phone on the go. Without even considering the charging capabilities, the case itself is quite impressive. It's got a great matte black finish and it is very sturdy and seems like it'll protect my phone just as good as some of the expensive cases. It is solid on the bottom/back and the top is flexible so no fighting to get the case on. I was surprised at how slim/sleek the design was as it doesn't make my phone seem that much bulkier. When it comes to the charging aspect, it is amazing. Push a button and your phone begins recharging, all the while you can still use it. I also love the fact that it has the lighting plug slot built in so you can charge the phone and the case all at once using your standard Apple Lightning cord. (no need to carry around a micro USB to charge the case separately. On top of that you can even plug in your Apple headphones to listen to music since the slot is functional. The one pleasant surprise is that even though they state it is not compatible, this case works with my car's Apple Carplay. Not sure if it's because my car has the newer Carplay versions, or I'm just lucky, but this is the icing on the cake! Overall, this product is very impressive. I'd spend way more than they are asking for this product. Hopefully they continue to innovate new cases for iPhone plus and other newer models because I don't think I'll be able to live without a case like this again when it's time to upgrade. Do yourself a favor and buy this charger case!
