Superbly crafted!
Why would you ask what the Steak Locker is used for? Duh.

Great Way To Make Perfectly Dry Aged Steaks
I decided to give the Steak Locker a try earlier this year. I've since made perfectly dry aged NY Strip, Top Sirloin, Ribeyes and currently testing a beef tenderloin. I did run into a couple issues along the way but the support team is very responsive and has resolved all of the issues. I definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys the taste of Dry Aged beef.

Best dry aging refrigerator for home use...where’s the beef?
I love dry aged beef and have consumed more than my share. I always liked the idea of doing it myself but did not want to convert a regular refrigerator to that purpose. I researched three brands and settled on the Steak Locker. This unit provides the proper refrigeration and humidity and includes a UV light system to prevent bacterial contamination. It also has a cool blue light that looks good in the dark. All you have to do is plug it in and load it up. The meat stays dry, and there is no odor from the unit. The longer you age it (my first batch just turned 32 days old) the more beefy the meat smells and tastes. The unit will hold at least three 7 bone prime rib roasts and four boneless rib roasts. You can literally cut off a single steak for dinner and put the remaining large piece back for more aging. Highly recommended.

10 Star Customer Service
I purchased my Steak Locker at an estate sale it had never been used. When I got it home and attempted to set it up the water drawer would not close completely not understanding the reason i managed to pull one of the wires from the connector that goes to the extractor fan. I called customer support and spoke to Jack. He did not ask for the serial number or if I had registered the warranty. He just said Im here to help. Within a few days I received a new fan at no cost. Its a great product and arguably the very best customer service Ive ever experienced.

Worth the risk.
It's a lot of money to spend based on a few reviews. Have had mine for a year now with good results salami's, coppa, panchetta and best of all dry aging rib-eye chunks 75-90 days. Oh wow! You'll wish it had more capacity. To allay buyer jitters making seller should create a bullet proof return policy so first timers can buy with confidence. If mine was not a fluke then customer satisfaction is certain.
