Really, really fast external drive

Really, really fast and handy to have 2TB of SSD for external storage. I keep raw video of a project on this while editing then move to slower, less expensive storage for the long term.

Good Choice ...

I opted for the Lacie version vs. the plain Jane Seagate branded model. Looks more racy. I periodically pick up new external SSD models for various usage models and I have to say that this drive is a beast. Consistent 525 to 530 MB/sec using the included USB-C 3.1 cable. Blows away many competing models rated at high speeds but are formatted and configured for IOS as a default. If you're running Win 10 with proper hardware, THIS unit is the right choice. Stays cool. Runs fast. Looks cool. I hope it lasts...
