I love how easy it is to clean these! There seems to be like a coating of what I assume is silicon on the outer gloves making it easy to whip/wash them. I also really appreciate the loops at the end of the gloves so I can hang them in my kitchen. The sizing is HUGE. If you have relatively small hands, I wouldn't recommend these. My hand is average sized and I feel like I can fit both my hands into one glove.

This glove works perfectly for my Magnalite skillet, which has a long, 11-inch handle. I use the glove as a glove for pot handles, but for the Magnalite, which I use both on the burner and in the oven for some dishes, the glove's 13-inch length enables me to slip the inside of the glove over the long handle. When removing it from the oven, I leave the glove as a handle guard so not to burn myself.

Very high quality heat resistance? Perhaps even industrial strength? I doubt I'll ever need another set of oven mitts.

These mitts are fantastic! Taking super hot things like casseroles out of the oven are a breeze now. These are long enough, almost coming up to my elbow, and insulated enough, where I don't feel I'm going to get burned no matter how I pick up a dish out of the oven. I really should order to more pairs so I can throw all of my old oven mitts out, for once and for all!

I lost my oven mitts due to old age and destruction. They were like 6 years old and in the wash 500 times before i decided to use them to play with my young mouthy German shepherd lo. Needless to say they were kinda shredded and ripped apart. For a couple months i just used pot lit holders but very recently, i have been using our oven a lot more. A couple days ago i pretty much lost all the chicken nuggets in front of my 2 year old's very sad eyes, as i dropped the oven grids because the heat went through those lid holders and burned the heck out of my fingers. That's when i decided that procrastination most likely doesn't do me any good here. I looked at several mitts here on amazon and eventually decided for these, as they looked nice in their color, design and seemed pretty solid. They are definitely bigger than the ones i had before and do their job just lovely. I'm a whee bit disappointed that it recommends not to wash but rather spot clean only, since i am a laundry and disinfecting freak, but hey. If it keeps me, my fingers and my sons chicken nuggets safe, it is what it is! The price/ quality comparison of $12.01 (09/01/2016) seem absolutely appropriate to me and i give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Love these!!! They're a little longer than my old ones reaching up to almost my elbows. They're a good thickness but if you use stoneware than you can feel the heat - not enough to burn but I don't hold on for long periods of time to hot stoneware. I would be these again.

The worst thing would be to buy too thin mitts, however these mitts even after holding baking sheets for minutes directly out of the oven show no weakness. They are definitely on the large side and bulky, but I guess that's a good thing.

So far so good. I know some reviews say they are big, but I’m a woman with small hands and I think they’re fine. You can’t expect them to gilt like gloves, they’re oven mitts. Very happy with the purchase and I feel like my hands are protected.

He didn't want the silicone padded gloves so found these perfect and they protect his forearms when lifting hot pans from the oven.

They’re great! I use them mostly for taking things out of the oven. Don’t feel the temperature of the oven at all. They’re long enough to protect my arms as well. Washed them once now at a regular cycle (let them air dry) and came out fine.
