Great product

Great product, does everything expected, just don't expect miracles, like being able to type on it while fully extended. I used it to read Kindle Paperwhite while getting massage in my massage chair, and it works perfectly fine, completely still and stable, touching the screen to move to the next page works without an issue too though does cause the book to bounce very slightly from the touch, but I have have it extended fully in a straight line so expected to.

Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made

I have been using this arm (in a cyan colour) for over a year and my dad immediately fell in love with it and got jealous. I decided to get another identical one in a black colour for him and he LOVES IT. Let’s take a look at this arm from vice to head. The part that anchors the arm is a vice-grip that screws tight to doorframes, bedframes, overhanging countertops, tables, basically any extrusion that’s between 1 and 4 inches thick. The contact surface has a large grey soft silicone/rubber pad on it to prevent damage and denting if you decide to screw it onto something wooden or painted for example. The next part is the arm. In the photos, this is the black part. It’s a very stiff core that will STAY where you put it. It takes a bit of effort (I have NO upper arm strength) to position it but once you do, it’ll hold its shape very well. I mentioned the “core” above, because this particular model comes with a really nice beautifully stitched leatherette cover surrounding the arm (that’s the black part you can see, I’ve included an up-close photo). This is a REALLY nice touch that makes it look and feel much better in my opinion. The black arm isn’t the only thing that can bend, however. Another really great feature of this product is that is has a “fine tuning” section of the arm between the black stiff arm and the tablet holder. This part of the arm is white, with a soft silicone coating, and while it’s still pretty stiff it’s easier to move and reposition than the main arm. This is perfect for making small changes to the angle of your device. The head of this tablet arm is really versatile, it spins along one axis, essentially allowing you to spin your device from portrait orientation to landscape orientation without removing the device. (The device will not spin without you actually wanting it to!). There are two braided cords on the back which allow easy resizing of the holding arms, which maintain a steady grip on the device. Pull on the cords to extend the arms, put the device in, and gently let the cords on the back go so the arms close around the device automatically (I have included a photo showing the cord loop being pulled a little bit to demonstrate, but it’s worth noting that a) there is a cord on each side that you can pull, and b) this is not the full length to which they can extend!). The arms and back of the device holder have a soft silicone coating to protect the device against scratches as well as provide more grip. In short, this device ABSOLUTELY deserves the 5 stars I’m giving it. I wouldn’t have bought a second one as a gift if the first one wasn’t stellar, and both are still working perfectly and fulfilling their advertised purpose.

Love it, does everything I wanted. The goose nectar is lil stiff, but that's better then flopping around. I use it all over my house for my switch.

Use all your body parts to adjust the arm

Husband is envious of my new tablet holder. And what a great price for something so well- made. Yes, it is a workout trying to adjust the arm part, but you can make it easier on yourself by using hips, legs, feet for leverage. It probably takes a good 2 mins to get it into perfect position.

Strength

Was a little concerned at how strong the coil would be, but it's very strong. Works great!

Great holder for my kindle

Bought this to replace the cheap tablet holder that broke on me after a few months of use. After a week of using this, I can say the clamp is very sturdy and the rubber on it is THICK. So once I clamp it onto something the holder is firmly attached with no wiggle room. The cheap one I bought before used to squeak and the screen bounced around when I moved in bed. Not this holder though, I can definitely feel the quality of this over the cheaper holders. I move this holder around a lot and so far everything about it is far superior than cheaper alternatives. Reasonable price for what you get too.

Absolutely solved my problems

I purchased this for use in 2 ways for my ipad pro, 10.5". One way is using it alongside my bed so my neck is not looking down to read. The holder is very strong and sturdy, and my neck is very relieved! My second use is at my desk at work. I use this to hold my ipad while I track news and personal emails at work. By far I use it more in bed, but I am so happy I purchased this.

Impressed

I am thoroughly impressed with this product, so much so I've bought a second! As long as they continue to make quality parts in manufacturing this should last a long time before wearing. Pros: Holds a relatively large screen size, Can be used for multiple devices, switch, Ipad, phone, small HDTV monitor. Attaches to nearly anything: table, a desk, a bookshelf, lamp. Doesn't sag with the weight of our devices. We bend it in and out of the way constantly and it hasn't seem to worn down the gooseneck in the slightest. Con: It's a bit unsightly hanging by one's bed, but we don't mind as it's we didn't have high hopes of it being a particularly sexy bedside attachment. Have to hide it from dates until they understand the level of nerd I am accustomed to.
