Took a long time to fix the tilt, but we did it!

Have had this for about a year and a half and still works great. Was going to give this 4 stars because of the incline. I just went to look at this as I was going to write this review and I was looking at the incline. It has always had a slight incline which can be a little annoying at times, but not so much that we ever quit using it. I had noticed lately that when my child started messing with the tray and pulling up on it sometimes that it seemed to lay a little bit flatter when it wasn't attached on one side all the way. I was looking at this for my review and messing with it and I pushed it up onto the black rubber part of the dining chairs handle (we always attach it to the metal tube part of the chair just behind the black rubber pieces) and pushed down and it popped down and lays flat! Cannot believe it! It still seems to come off the rubber piece onto the metal, but it's 99% flat now. Put a crayon on it and it didn't roll down! Definitely did before! Don't know if this will work for everyone or not, but I changed it to 5 stars now. Had not seen the tips before on having the tray already on when securing the chair, so don't know if this would have worked or not. We have always hand washed it. The only improvement I could now make to it would be if there was a little trough on the end to catch food in the gap between table and chair or just stuck out further to fill the gap between table and front of chair.

Loved this addition to our chair

Loved this addition to our chair. I see some people complain that it doesn't sit flat. When you tighten down the arm clamps to the counter make sure the arms don't start to slide toward the center as you tighten the clamps. If you over tighten then the arms slide in and your tray will not sit flat. Once you fix that it sits perfect. We used it every meal!

AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!!!

We had the seat with our son and then bought the tray with our daughter. What a difference in cleanup and self feeding. The ray has a little lip which helps babies grab ahold of their food. Cleanup is a breeze now! We even took it with us on a camping trip in an RV. Rather than having her in her car seat all the time we attached the seat to the dinner table and she was able to enjoy meals with the rest of the family without having to bring another high chair! I have it attached to our bar counter so she can watch me cook and I don't have to worry about her roaming around the house while I'm cooking or getting splattered with something hot.

The best of the best !!!

The best of the best chair for children. I installed in my island and it is a pleasure given his food to my one year old grandchild. It’s very easy to clean and remove. Buying the tray is a must, it has a place for his water an he learned very fast to drink alone and then puts his water again in the right place. We do not allow him yet, to eat alone with the spoon, but we put in the tray cereals, blueberries and some other no messy food on the tray and he eats alone with his hands without making any mess difficult to clean. Put in the past the bulky children chairs that always are on your way, no matter how big is your kitchen. If you like to go out, is very easy to remove the chair and take to a restaurant or to family and friends homes. Do not investigate more, I spend many hours looking for the perfect chair and this is the one. Of course I’ll recommend to anyone that needs a child chair.

Highly recommend!!

We’ve been using the inglesina chair for several months now and I just now got the tray and it has already made a decent difference in the amount of clean up I have after my baby eats. The gap isn’t completely closed, but it’s significantly less than it was without the tray, allowing less food to fall on the floor (much to our dog’s disappointment). More importantly, food doesn’t get trapped under the arms anymore which I found very annoying and disgusting. I think it’s a little expensive for a single piece of plastic, but clearly the benefit of having it outweighed what I paid for it.

Time Saving Tray

We LOVE this inglesina fast dining tray and we actually don't know how we've lived without one for so long! The tray is sturdy and very easy to clean. In fact it's reduced our clean up time by more than half with regard to the Inglesina seat and counter top. No more worrying about cleaning around the crevices of the seat where loose foods use to get stuck between the arms of the seat against our island countertop. It snaps in tightly against the seat with easy, and pops right out for cleaning without any problems. This is really a "Necessary" accessory for the Inglesina seat! If you have a seat but not the tray, I would seriously recommend getting one!

I love this tray! It hooks right into the chair and the new design actually has a little ledge and closes the gap between the counter/table and chair! My dog isn’t very happy but this momma is happy to have less food fall on the floor!

Essential for your Inglesina

We have the fast chair and love it, but encountered "the gap" between the chair and the table surface where food would disappear. While folding a dish towel and putting it in the gap took care of the food disappearing through, my son would always put his food-covered hands all over the handles resting on the table surface. I would constantly have to wipe those down, as well as unhook the chair to clean underneath. And let's face it... I didn't always do that. After going back and forth, I decided to give the tray a try. AWESOME. Life is so much easier. I absolutely recommend the tray if you're getting the high chair and using it daily in your home as we do.

Cleaner Counters, Cleaner Chair, Cleaner Floor

Covers the gap from the counter to the straps of the chair. Helps keep my counter clean while preventing most food from falling into the chair/onto the floor. We still end up with some food in the chair and floor, but that typically only happens when the babe is moving to watch or "feed" the dog.

Absolute Necessity with the Inglesina Hook-on High Chair!

Awesome addition to the Inglesina Fast Dining Chair. This is the new updated version of the tray and mostly closes the gap between the high chair and the edge of the counter or table it’s attached to. I like to tuck my baby’s bib down between the tray and the fabric of the chair so that a lot of the food that is dropped will slide back into the tray. I love that the edges are raised very high, unlike our other high chair, so my son can’t brush all of the food off of the tray like he does in the other chair. Also, it keeps the counter or table nice and clean and easily clips on and off for clean-up and also fits into the built in bag on the chair for travel or going out to restaurants. An absolute necessity if you have the Inglesina Fast Dining Chair and, from the sound of it, a vast improvement over the previous model of tray for this high chair!
